Hôtel au top! Je recommande les yeux fermés les chambres sont spacieuses d'une propreté irréprochable le ménage est fait quotidiennement le personnel est dévoué! N'hésitez pas!

Cette réservation dans cet établissement a été un véritable désastre. Le soir de notre arrivée TOUS les accès pour aller à cet hôtel étaient fermés. Il a été IMPOSSIBLE de joindre quelqu’un à la réception, le numéro envoie vers une boîte vocale. Il était tard et tous les hôtels de Montréal étaient complets, nous avons du dormir dans la VOITURE! Et finement aujourd’hui je viens de voir qu’ils m’ont débité sur ma CB le montant pour les 3 chambres en plus du préjudice que nous avons subis. N’y allez pas, la communication est catastrophique…

If I was able to give 0 zero stars, I would.
My family and I went to Montreal this summer, along with 2 other families.
Our rooms were supposed to be ready for (from what I recall) 3pm, but we waited in the lobby with our luggage for nearly an hour and a half.
We flew in from across the country to enjoy our trip, hence an itinerary was created to ensure we made use of our time. I told the front desk that we had tickets for an event at 6pm and that we needed the rooms ASAP to get ready. The front desk told me "it seems the rooms are ready but they're waiting to update it in their system. " Like what? How has it been updating in the system for an hour and a half? We ended up getting different rooms. It seemed like there was no employee that knew what they were doing.
I asked the hotel front desk if we'd be able to get a complimentary convertible sofa bed for the poor service we received upon just arriving. She said she would speak with the manager. The manager denied the request, and it was not because they didn't have a convertible sofa bed. They told us it would cost $20/night. Why would I spend more money for an awful experience? The only good experience I had was talking to the male cook. Someone needs to give him a raise for having to go back to this hotel every morning.
In summary, this hotel will provide you with the worst service they possibly can and then do nothing to compensate for their lack of competence. I would much rather have stayed in a motel than come back here again.

It was a decent experience. Hotel is located right next to the national park. The rooms definitely require an upgrade; the floor carpet was dirty. Breakfast was amazing.

A vivre dans sont char à cause des prix exorbitants des loyers malgré une criss de bonne job de camionneur.bin, une tite place très tranquille pour dormir en paix et en sécurité! En espérant que cela ne change pas et que ceux qui en profitent ne laisse pas traîner leurs poubelles!

Hôtel propre mais vintage 1980 dans le mauvais sens. Aucune rénovation apparente depuis la construction.

J'ai séjourné la semaine dernière pour le travail.en parlant avec la réceptionniste elle m'a appris que l’hôtel avait ré-ouvert il y a quelques semaines seulement.bien que le hall manque de décoration, l’hôtel est propre.un petit déjeuner continental est inclus dans le prix, il est simple, mais suffisant pour ne pas partir le ventre vide.il n'y a pas de service de restauration pour le souper ou le dîner, mais l’hôtel est situé à seulement 5min en voiture de Boucherville, de ses nombreux restaurants et de la saq! Les chambres sont confortables et très propres.si l'occasion se représente je le choisirai sans problème, c'est un bon rapport qualité/prix

Ma soeur et moi aimerions souligner la belle opportunité qu'offre la ré ouverture du Gouverneur île Charron. Location de chambre à très bas prix incluant petit déjeuner très intéressant. Un accueil bien chaleureux avec une volonté de services très attentionnée. Le seul aspect plus faible est au niveau de l'utilisation de la baignoire. Des barres d'appuis pour les aînées seraient appréciées et aussi voir à baisser la température de l'eau chaude qui est à risque de brûlures.

I suggest to book from "Hotel Gouverneur" website directly, not through Expedia. Expedia allows to pay now or at the counter but all sales are FINAL. Expedia charged me $78+$78+actual fee extra because I checked in a day later. I was mislead to believe that this could be fixed at the counter. Expedia makes no refunds and most issues will come during the flight. Their website allows more flexible cancellation. Best yet don't pre-book this hotel. Online numbers are misleading. It's very very empty hotel. In 4 days we were there only 2 couples checked in. Meaning - for 2 days we were the only guests there. Hotel is 99% empty. Rooms outdated but clean. Breakfast is simple (cereal, yogurt, banana or apple or orange, energy bar). I have not been given directions to swimming pool. Free WiFi and TV. Parking lot has 2 cars both from staff. The city Botanic garden is about $25 entry fee. In winter we didn't even go. There is nothing else on the island besides highways.

Hotel ré-ouvert dernierement mais avec tres peu de rénovation, senteur bizarre dans la chambre, taches multiples sur le tapis, tres peu modernisé, vieillisant. Par contre, le lit est confortable, et semble plutot neuf. Dejeuner correct, avec café bon. Accueil ok, sans plus. Pas de resto proche, mais possibilité de livraison, l’ete avec le parc bien plaisant j’imagine. J’allais oublier, l’ascenceur est terrifiant.

Neat place and a walking distance to the Parc national
des Îles-de-Boucherville. The hotel is a not fancy or anything, one of the oldest I think in the area but it has lots of good qualities. We were greeted with a smile and we found the staff are helpful and nice people. We love the new doors of the rooms and cleanliness. The room we stayed at was 505 and we had only an overnight stay. The room is a good size for 4 adults and the beds are comfortable. Towels are very white and clean. We visited on the family day weekend.
The hotel can use some help from a lobby designer to make it look cheerful and more welcoming. Great deal for the room rate including continental breakfast.
This hotel is a few minutes drive to stores and restaurants, close to highway exits. Local transport is a few steps away.
