Wonderful dinner to celebrate our engagement earlier that day. Roxanne was a wonderful server, food was delicious, and it was an excellent experience. Perfect place to celebrate!

Great decor and service. We had the raw salmon, pan con tomate, anchovies and croquettes and loved the appetizers. Unfortunately the paella did not live up to our expectations and nothing like the ones from Spain. The rice was very plain. Appetizers 9/10, paella 4/10, octopus 8/10. Drinks and service were amazing. However, I did find our bill quite expensive. Items are overpriced for the small tapas style foods.

Jeudi 28 septembre ~19h00 2023 — J’avais vraiment hâte d’essayer le restaurant Espagnol Ibérica et j’ai été extrêmement déçues par les portions qui nous ont été servies. Le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas super. Nous payons extrêmement cher pour des portions TRÈS PEU généreuses.

Cuisine: Nous avons pris des cocktails, des entrées, une Paella et des desserts. Les cocktails sont bons! Cependant, la portion de calamars frits est petite, mais ce qui a été le plus choquant était la Paella de riz noir, homard, pétoncles, crevettes et palourdes au prix de 62$. Nous pensions que la Paella était plus « creuse » que cela, et contenait plus de choses, mais il y a environ l’épaisseur d’un grain de riz dans la Paella, c’est-à dire, très peu de riz. Puis, il y avait seulement la moitié d’une queue d’homard, 3 crevettes, 3 palourdes et 1 pétoncle… Vu le prix, j’aurais cru qu’il y aurait eu plus de riz au moins… J’aimerais bien savoir ce qui justifie payer 62$, il semblait ne rien avoir d’exceptionnel à cette Paella. Ensuite, le dessert à l’Ananas confit, sorbet à la lime, il y a seulement 4 morceaux d’ananas. Donc, c’est vraiment décevant vu les prix.

Service: Les hôtes et les hôtesses pourraient être davantage sympathiques (ils sont quand même la première impression du restaurant), mais une fois à la table le service est impeccable. Les serveurs et les bussboys étaient supers!

Ambiance: Ambiance assez chic et très beau décor.

This is a beautiful place and the service was superb. The lamb chops were delicious and beautifully presented but the seafood paella was disappointing. It seemed to have been sitting in the kitchen waiting for someone to order it.

The appetizers we ordered were spectacular. The main dish paella was also good. Service was good appetizers arrived within minutes the paella took a while longer. The churros were ok. We will come back

The pork was good.

Probably I'll come back to try the paella.

We tried Iberica after walking by the night before and thinking the atmosphere looked nice - then were blown away by the food and experience! Our server, Roxanne, was so helpful and nice. The cocktails were delicious and unique, and the wine list is extensive and would be worth a return trip. The vegetarian paella is a unique menu item and was SO tasty - definitely a great place to share some tapas and a paella over a nice drink! The outdoor dining area was very nice too in the late summer. Highly recommend this spot!

Wow! Service hors pair! Qualité, fraîcheur! Coup de coeur pour le poisson cuit sur charbon, paëlla, patatas bravas et pieuvre grillée. C'est Barcelone à Montréal!

Une cuisine très raffinée extrêmement succulente le service est vraiment top la dame qui s'est occupée de nous était au petit soin du début jusqu'à la fin pourtant on était nombreux à notre table

Never coming here again. Had a horrible experience that ruined my night. Had a big group dinner and got there a bit late, and the Waiters were super rude and made a big deal about the fact that me and somebody on the table switched spots. There was not enough room at our table for everyone so at one point people had to start squishing at the end of the table. Instead of trying to be accomodating by offering us another table to extend our table, the waiter was rude to my friend with attitude. We did not do anything to instigate his behaviour. We are just customers who were trying to enjoy a dinner. Instead of trying to accommodate us he gave us attitude. I know what it’s like to work in customer service, I would never treat a customer like that.

I've been here before and it was 5 stars. However last night all the food - even the salads - were so over salted we almost sent dishes back.

Especially when you're ordering a small 65 dollar paella!

L'endroit est joli et le service attentionné. La nourriture est correcte, sans plus. La pieuvre légèrement caoutchouteuse (donc mal apprêtée), les calmars très standards bas, le tapas de crevettes est arrivé quasi instantanément après l'avoir commandé, mais c'était tiède-froid. Le service est encore plus rapide qu'au Mcdo. C'est quasi trop, car cela empêche de profiter du moment et de déguster son breuvage. Globalement, c'est bien, mais vraiment pas une expérience wow.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel very welcome, which is hard to find lately. I can't wait to go back soon. Diane and Cassi spoiled us with exceptional service and experience.

Good atomsphere great service but food quality is going down and down… at this price it should be better

Excellent meal in beautiful surroundings. The service was brilliant, we were waited on by several attentive and friendly girls who went out of their way for us. The food was super too, the salads were especially good!

Great dishes, the service was great all the times the waiter was attentive with us and the churros was wonderful.

Du cocktail au dessert, simplement WOW!

Acceuil: sympatique, professionnel. Serveur très présent et fait de bonnes recommandations.
Ambiance: chic décontracté. Magnifique restaurant avec deux étages. Cuisine à aire ouverte.
Nourriture: Cocktails raffinés et bien présentés. Style tapas, nous avons commandé le pain coca avec fromage Manchego, les calmars frits, la pieuvre, le contre-filet et le porc à partager à 3. Tous les plats étaient delicieux, bonne cuisson, sauf le porc un peu sec. (Pour leur défense, ils n'avaient pas la même coupe de porc que présentée dans le menu). Les aliments sont frais. En dessert, un flanc au caramel crémeux!

Attention, le principe des tapas fait monter rapidement la facture!

Excellente soirée ici avec mon amoureux, merci beaucoup pour le service impeccable de Chris, notre serveur, nous avons adoré l’expérience et surtout ses cocktails préparé et créé par lui même. Superbe ambiance! Nous y retournerons assurément!

Very disappointing. Nothing special. Paper menus very tired. Waiter didn’t have a clue of the food he was serving. We asked what kind of cheese was in the cheese platter ; his answer was Spanish or Portuguese cheese not sure. Steak was cold and final price was pretty high. Would not recommend and will not give a 2nd chance.

The food came fast, the service was exceptional, and the black ink paella was mouthwatering.

Went to Iberica on a weekend getaway to Montreal. The atmosphere was excellent, especially upstairs where it was not as crowded and more romantic. The food was amazing - highly recommend the black seafood paella - magnifique! Kevin served us and treated us so well. Probably one of the best experiences we’ve had at a restaurant in a really long time. Would definitely make this our standard dinner spot whenever we travel to Montréal.

A small piece of Barcelona in Montreal. The patatas bravas are just amazing. I recommend to simply ask the owner/waiter to bring food of his choosing, and enjoy! The wine selection is super interesting with many private imports from Penedes, Canari Island, etc. If you love high-end Spanish Tapas, this is the place!

My husband surprised me with this restaurant on our wedding anniversary. We ordered octopus for the entree and for the mains; beef and sea bream both grilled in the Josper charcoal oven. We were seated in front of the grill chef and were able to watch him work his magic. Our meal was outstanding. Our waiter, Chris, was equally great! It was a very busy night yet he checked on us multiple times, always serving our food in a timely fashion. The overall vibe of the restaurant is very warm and vibrant. We would definitely go back, thank you Iberica for making our anniversary extra special! ;)

Très dispendieux sans grand intérêt gustatif et service très long.
Un peu déçu alors que nous avions toujours apprécié les repas du soir au préalable.

What a fabulous find! Mario and his staff enchanted us with an impromptu tasting menu, cheerful service, enlightening tourist recommendations and off the beaten path restaurant suggestions for the remainder of our stay. If you don't plan a stop st this business district gem, you're missing out@

Things you need to work on:
1) Washroom very very DIRTY, disgusting.
2) Bad air-conditioning on second floor, very hot.
3) Too pricey. Please check the bill I attach to this review. We are six adult one kid one baby. Two adults and the baby left in the middle or almost end of the dinner. Otherwise the food would not be enough for six adults. (Even if the bill was over 700$)
4）Saw one cook put a plate of grilled cauliflower on the counter, but then grab it bare-handed to fix it. (I don’t think his hands are clean because he just touched the counter and tableware before)
5) Charge 3$ extra for each piece of cake cut. This doesn’t seem to be reasonable for me.
6) Our main server was very very nice, but when he brought the cake with another server, they mistaken the birthday person. So embarrassing…

Le cadre est très beau par contre nous sommes allez pour les 1 an de mariage de ma soeur parce que nous n avions pas pu célèbre en famille l an dernier pour le covid. Nous avons pris le menu Mtl à table mais bon je n'ai pas été époustouflé par mon plat. Non seulement l entrée j ai pris celle au jambon qui ne goûtait que la purée de pommes de terre. La paella n était pas bonne du tout pourtant en 2019 quand j y étais c'était très bon mais cette fois ci les 3 personnes à table qui avons pris ça nous étions pas contentes du tout. En plus le pire je ne sais pas ce qui c'est passé avec le plat de mon beau frère mais il a eu un malaise au restaurant et c'est evanoui quelques minutes et vomi au restaurant pourtant il allait très bien et est quelqu'un de très sportif et en bonne santé. Malgré tout nous avons dû payé notre addition comme si de rien n était et a part la serveuse qui est venue à notre table se rassure qu'il allait mieux. Aucj
manager ou autre n'est venu. La seule chose qui mérite une belle note pour cette soirée c'est la coupe de champagne et le dessert.j ai toutefois payer le pourboire pour la serveuse car elle au moins a pris le temps de s enquérir de son etat de santé. On s entends que si quelqu'un s evanoiit et qu'on pense à apeller 911 cest pas une blague et surtout que ça de fait direct à votre restaurant considérant qu a part le repas un cocktail ibiza chacun et un champagne à partager à 10 au moment du dessert cest quand même étonnant. Bref il a mangé du poisson on ignore toujours ce qui c'est passé mais bon iberica de 2019 et iberica de 2021 c'est la nuit et le jour. Pourtant c'est moi qui est insistée qu'on y aille. Ma soeur et moi avons offert le repas aux mariées au moins pour diminuer leur traumatisme mais bon. Bref nous en sommes ressorties sous le choc

This is a tough review. I so badly want to give Ibérica 5/5, but it just isn't representative. Food is good, drinks are good, service is good, but it's all just good. It isn't particularly amazing or phenomenal. The seafood paella in particular was good, but just not incredible. And it 100% had the opportunity to be incredible. The actual meat in the clams and mussels was almost non existent. There was a point where I wondered why include them. But again, the shrimp was good, and the flavours were good. I would recommend the watermelon salad without a doubt, but even that is just good. Come here, check it out for sure, but don't come expecting this place to knock your socks off.

One of the best tapas places downtown, with nice service and excellent tapas options. We sat on the terrasse outside despite the beautiful décor inside which was tempting. There were plenty of tapas options to choose from, but we settled on a few appetizer like the filet mignon (which was succulent) and the fried calamari (with a very unique batter). We also had the vegetarian paella, which tasted great. All in all our selections were quite satisfying for two people having lunch. Their take on a bloody ceasar was also interesting (loved the cold cut and olive on top!). The only downside: we wanted to try their special table d'hôte menu which they were publicizing as part of the Mtl-à-Table festival and we were coming all the way from Laval so we had reserved to go at 2pm (when they opened) on a weekday, to avoid traffic. But they called us 20 minutes before we arrived (we were already driving and on our way) to tell us they only offered the Mtl-à-Table table d'hôte menu in the evenings. Bummer.

Ate here for my friends birthday, and we were quite disappointed. Our sever did a poor job at serving, we were there for at least 3.5 hours and she was at the table for a total of 2 minutes. She was rude and dry when we asked for suggestions, and gave us attitude when she brought the wrong dish saying we ordered it but we hadn’t. We saw her roll her eyes at the table beside us. The food was fine but not very well seasoned and not worth the price. It was quite a long wait between our appetizers and our mains. I got the pain coca as an app and it was just mushed tomatoes and a few drops of olive oil with very salty parts and very un seasoned parts. The nicest and friendliest person we talked to was the guy that had us pay our bill. It goes without saying that we were let down and unsatisfied at the end of the night.

We went there for my mother -in-law's birthday. The dishes were excellent and delicious overall, except for the paella which I found lacking. I found the rice too mushy for my taste Had many paellas in Spain in the past, perhaps my standard has been set higher to begin with. Service was a little cold, felt a little lack of warmth from the waiters.

Lovely bistro style restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The wine selection is 7/10 but the tapas are as close to the Spanish flavors you can get in Madrid. Prices are on the high side relative to the dish sizes but you do get fresh ingredients; and it's apparent especially with their seafood and shellfish. Merci!

Le repas était excellent! Très savoureux! Très bon service, le serveur Alexis était à nos petits soins. Il a contribué à rendre notre anniversaire de mariage encore plus spécial. Nous avons mangé la pieuvre et le plateau de fruit de mer. C'était une explosion de saveurs.

My experience at Ibērica was great! Our waiter was very pleasant and nice. I ordered the Cauliflower, the Tomato & Watermelon Salad and topped it off with the Churros. Food was good, I've got nothing bad to say about it. Made for a lovely night!

Great service and some yummy dishes. Our waiter was very informative and friendly. Food was expensive but came quickly. The best dish was the octopus, which was tender and well-seasoned. The paella and manchego w bread were a bit too salty.

Super expérience de dégustation. Le staff est super attentif et connaît bien ses produits, ce qui fait qu'en leur laissant nous conseiller on finit par goûter à plein de plats variés et tous délicieux en plus savoir un super pairing avec vin et/ou cocktail. Chapeau à la Chef Lorrena qui fait ressortir une pléthore de saveurs incroyables des aliments avec lesquelles elle travaille. Vraiment très hâte d'y retourner pour essayer les plats que je n'ai pas pris cette fois ci!

Cozy restaurant with a great dimmed ambiance. Elegant and sophisticated. Great vibe for a romantic diner. Definitely on the pricy side, but considering the location, the quality of the food and seafood i definitely recommend it.

Lors de ma dernière visite moi et ma conjointe avons passés un tres bon repas. En effet, la nourriture est de qualité et le service est très agréable. Le serveur qui nous a servis nous a tres bien conseillé tout le long de notre repas. De plus, leur terrasse semi ferme est bien mieux que les terrasses ouverte cote pot déchapements. Je conseille ce restaurant pour toute personne qui aime la nourriture espagnol de qualité et qui aime être bien servi.
PS: nous recommandons vivement les patatas bravas

I have never seen such a disorganized restaurant. You’d only like this place -
1. If you like to smoke at your table
2. If you like to share a cigarette with your buddies while they are seated at patio table. Or a cigar!
3. If you like paella without crust
4. If you like super crowded place where mask rule is not enforced. I wouldn’t be surprised if next covid breakout start here.
The only good thing I could think of about this place is the server being very attentive and polite. Other than that, skip this place
