Good food, Great Customer service, and Amazing staff!
This small business has very kind knowledgeable staff that clearly care about their customers' satisfaction. They love to explore new dishes variations to add some novelty and perhaps a sense of adventure. Mixed with the cozy atmosphere, you end up with quite a pleasant experience.

The staff are so nice here compared to most places in Montreal. I was also surprised at how good the food is. Especially the dessert!

I don't know what happened to this place 2 years ago it was amazing, now it's garbage.chicken dry, tacos and po boys are a mess, popcorn shrimp has no sauce anymore. Definitely not coming back anymore

What a find! Off the main strip this amazing little bar and eatery has great beer, cocktails and food. Small menu done really well. Our food was great and every other table was just nodding in appreciation of what they were having.

The best local restaurant in Montréal. I am not a fan of fried chicken but you should definitely try it, so tasty so crispy so delicious, it comes with Coleslaw and a potato salad also chicken wings my friend ALWAYS get the brisket, that’s how good it is. Very friendly staff

This place is Fire.chicken, the dirty burrito, soft tacos and the heeeeat! Bring on the heeeeat! I love the spicy sauces (especially the xXx). Staff is amazing, entertaining. Be ready for that bucket of chicken.you'll know when it's served lol.

This is the best restaurant in Montreal. Please don't come here, cause I don't want it to be too busy when I come here.

Très bon service, François mets le P dans personnalisé. Il est très pro actif, aide avec le menu et les variantes. L'ambiance est très chaleureuse et amicale, la musique n'est pas une nuisance pour la conversation. Vérifiez sur leur page l'heure d'ouverture change selon les saisons.

Le restaurant « Icehouse » est un de mes endroits favoris sur le plateau. La cuisine est simple et excellente. Sans prétention, cette endroit est tout désigné pour emmené votre « date » ou pour aller célébrer avec des amis. L’endroit me donnes toujours l’impression d’être en voyage. Définitivement un must. En plus, le staff est souriant et le service rapide.

Le genre de petit resto que j'aime, avec cette ambiance pittoresque.
Endroit parfait pour ce partager les plats pour pouvoir en goûter plusieurs. L'accueil et le service est parfait. L'endroit est très propre. Un petit resto à découvrir.

Vraiment un excellent resto tex-mex, ou les superbes saveurs vous transporteront dans le sud américain. Pour moi cest rien de moins que la meilleure friture et tacos au Québec. Et le service est absolument génial. Allez y en courant!

10/10 food but it took a while to receive the items and they came at different times. However the service was warm and friendly, and because of the delays they gave us our sides for free. Will definitely come back and try again, hopefully they've got more servers!

Un bar agréable. Bonne bière de micro brasserie. Accueil humain et sincère. La personne qui nous a servi à un sens de l'humour qui pousse au pragmatisme et surprenament, aux vérités existentielles. Je recommande vivement!

I can't tell you how much this place is amazing. From the decor and ambiance, that makes you feel like you're in Texas, the music was on point and what about the rest. Service was A+, knowledgeable and super nice hostess that makes bomb cocktails (never had a margarita that tasted so good in my life, and spicy, delicious bloody cesar), and the food.
We legit couldn't entertain a conversation because we were overwhelmed by how good the food was. The shrimp Po Boy was definitely our favorite, but we had 3 different kind of tacos and they each surpassed our expectations.
On top of that, they have an array (20+) of homemade spicy sauces. Everything they do is made in house, and the owners own a farm where the grow the produce for their own spicy sauces.
Definitely a gem to be discovered.

I’ve been to Icehouse a few times and yesterday I ordered on Uber eats for the first time. My order came with 2 missing items. I called the restaurant to inquire and an employee called Alexandra aggressively told me that they are very busy and I won’t die if I don’t eat potato salad. While I do agree with her, this would still be the first time a business is this rude to me when they’re at fault. It’s more than enough for me to take my business elsewhere but I did think the management should know about this.

Montreal needs more tex-mex of this caliber. Ribs were honestly the best I've ever had.

Fried chicken is a blast. Ribs are great. Mud pie is so mmmmm. Service is good too. Great soulfood.

The service and food was fine, the staff are good people but the bill was dissappinting. Forty-seven dollars for a pitcher of burbon lemonade which ended up being 4 drinks or less. Twenty-two dollars plus tax and tip for a plate of nachos. Regardless of whether you order tacos, a sandwich, or fried chicken, there are superior alternatives within a 10 minute walk. There are also dramatically cheaper places to drink within a 5 minute walk. I want to recommend this place because the staff work hard and are good at what they do but the pricing is absurd.

Went there on a Friday evening got a table no long wait the place was very busy. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Cute spot all in all. The food and drinks were alright, nothing that was amazing but decent. Pricey for the amount that you get tbh. The chicken did live up to its name though.

Went today for dinner. Great service and amazing food. We did bucket of wings and bucket of ribs and fries. The hot sauce was FIRE! Can’t wait to go back.

We sat for thirty minutes and only got served water. Table seated after us was served food. We unfortunately had to get up and leave after no staff interaction.

A real tasty experience if you're into your Southern food! Definitely recommend the fried chicken and burritos!

Been here many years ago however anytime I visit Montreal it's a must I stop here for food. For this place to be so small and a small kitchen they churn out some wonderful food and drinks. Please keep it up and don't change a thing. Loyal customer here.

Accueil sympa et amical. Peu fréquenté en semaine donc permet de passer une bonne soirée chill sans trop de bruit ou de monde.

Niveau repas, c’était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Simple, efficace dans fioritures.

Le prix des burritos et de la note globale reste un peu élevé à mon goût pour ce qu’il y avait dans l’assiette.

Don’t remember the last time I’ve been that disappointed by a restaurant… maybe it was just a bad night, and i all thought feel sorry for the potential lack of staff but it took us 20 min to get seated (plenty of tables were available), then another 20 just to have someone tell us sorry for the wait and then not come back for another 10 minutes… the food wasn’t bad but we paid 25$ for a lobster burrito that barely had two pieces of lobster, was pretty tasteless and filled with rice… (yes i know what a burrito is, but at this point chipotle makes better ones for 10$). Then we had to wait another 20 minutes (at least) to get the check and at that point what thew me off was seeing the staff having a blast with clearly friends that came over, having shots and drinks while we waited like two douillasses… maybe a Bad night for them but still, had a bad experience and the whole thing felt very unprofessional

I ordered a steak burrito! I asked for no potatoes! Someone who made my order decided to stuff my burrito with french fries? After i requested no potatoes! The burrito was very dry had no sauce & it was just french fries!

Sooooo amazing, they were incredible accommodating even on such a busy night for hockey! Vibe was on point and the frozen margheritas were perfect. Will be back next time I'm in Montréal!

Was really looking forward to eating here after reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, i didn’t have a great time. My server got my order wrong and instead of apologizing for the mistake and just taking my order again, he decided to ignore my table for the rest of the night and another server took care of us. I also found it difficult to order anything because the server was always in a rush, not asking how things are going or if we even wanted another drink when we finished our first drinks. The drinks are good (the ONE I had) but menus aren’t offered so be prepared to get a surprise on your bill if you don’t ask the prices. Food was ok. I’d recommend the fried chicken bucket but beware, the potato salad is pretty atrocious and doesn’t taste anything resembling a potato, more like chalk and mayo. As someone who never leaves reviews, I leave one tonight because I’m super disappointed in the service.

Amazing veggie burrito and super crispy fresh fries (huuugeee potions), it's always fun to get an indulgent dinner from here. The owners are really nice too. Only downside is that they don't have hot sauce!
