I am surprised these photos dont include the amazing fried chicken sold in the deli section, or the porc creton, quebec goat cheese and local produce. Well worth the stop. Miss you.

I know it’s a new store, but maybe the worst layout for a grocery store that I have seen. Staff are great, but just a weird design.

Belle sélection de produits pour un petit épicerie rural. Les prêt-à-cuire sont très bons. Énormément de bières de microbrasserie. Le personnel est sympathique. Tout de même cher par contre.

Was there last night at 5: 30 pm to pick up a few things for the work week, the store closes at 9 pm and yet the deli department was closed due to “staffing” shortage! There were 2 people behind the counter and one of them was just on their cell phone leaning against the counter! Short staffed or lazy? With prices always going up will find somewhere else to spend my hard earned money!

Wide array of goods in a very clean and friendly environment. A favorite food shopping store in the area.

Honestly jadore tout chaque fois je trouve des choses pour camping and les boissons et la viande est chère mais pas mal.

I'm disappointed they do not have an electric shopping basket that I can use rather than pushing a basket.

I have been going to this store for years (even before they moved). Being born and raised in Ottawa I've never really felt the way I feel walking into this store. The passive agressiveness topped with constantly being ignored by (all male staff and women between the ages of like 18-40) is really getting to me and I'm trying to be pleasant with the staff but I'm constantly met with a cold shoulder. What makes this even harder to process is the same cashiers who are polite and converse with customers in line ahead of me will all of a sudden loose their voices or not be in a talking"mood", on multiple occasions I have greeted the cashier ANDBAGGER, With no response. I can't even count how many times Ive been checked out WITH NO WORDS.
I'm now convinced the staff either has a pact not to assist people of colour or they are trained to mistreat and discriminate.idk.anywas I'm the customer andmy peacefulness is running short. Especially with being a content creator (+100k followers on my socials) my work hours are allover the place and soi grocery during weekdays only. No weekend rushes.
I'm speaking from a place of pain, I thought moving here would be good for us (my husband and babyboy who was born here in my Chelsea home) but damn this sucks. I've never dreaded grocery shopping in my entire life until IGA famille Charles.

Sincerely one of the only black families in the area.

Ce supermarché est super propre, accueillant et très bien géré.
Y’a des produits biologiques, du mexicain, de l’asiatique, du prêt à manger, une charcuterie, une pâtisserie, une micro brasserie, bref.beaucoup de belles surprises et c’est bien organisé

Excellente sélection de produits pour un "petit" IGA. Très propre, employés courtois et incroyable selection de bières de micro-brasseries! Vaut le détour!

A bit more expensive than other grocery stores but it's always very clean, the produce always looks awesome, they have a very good selection of bunch of pastries and cakes. The alcohol section is quite substantial and offers lot's of beverage brands to choose from. Staff is bilingual.

Great selection, good prices. Lots of free parking, cash lines are usually non existent so you never usually have to wait. An excellent selection of ingredients for sushi making as well as premade sushi available. Staff is always helpful and always speak English every well.

It's too bad that this store has some very annoying repetitive errors and the worst part is some of the employees just don't care by their comments to me when I make a valid notification - which shows that they're not really interested in making sure I don't go online and write a very bad review, so here goes: Number 1 problem: the prices are VERY hard to find, especially in produce where I'm CONSTANTLY having to ask someone where/what the price is - they're JUST NOT placed where the item is - the item can be in 2 different locations and I get shown to the "other" location - where the price is. Number2: Upon checking my receipt/bill or at the cash as it's being entered: errors are very frequent and when the cashier is notified became defensive and looked at me like I was wrong, 2 people there denying I was right about the item NAME AND PRICE, both of which were incorrect. Upon checking, I was right but did not get an apology: very crappy attitude. Number3: I asked about a specific produce item that had a big ad in the flyer, "No, we didn't get our shipment". One of the reasons I went to that store that day was to get this item. There was no satisfactory make up or even a suggestion as to when they might be in or even an offer for a rain cheq or any other suggestion. Very Disappointing. Number 4: I asked about a meat product, the person looked at the items I was considering and realized that the PRICE was wrong, took them to the scale, relabelled them & brought them back - they were on special but had not been marked down.what if I had bought 1 thinking it was the sale price? A very expensive! Very frustrating shopping experience here that should have been way more enjoyable - I sure hope they can improve because this is a convenient store for me. Please fix!
