Il Fornetto

C'est devenu trop cher pour la qualité. La salade César manquait de goût (même pas de bacon). Cette demi-salade sans goût nous a coûté 15$. A ce prix, on s'attend à beaucoup mieux.
On a partagé une pizza et une demi-salade à deux, plus un verre de vin et une bière: total 92$. C'est nettement exagéré. Mais le service était très bien et la terrasse est jolie. C'est dommage car on aimait beaucoup ce resto. Mais on n'y retournera plus.

Ok restaurant with nice view and a big terrace in the summer. Food is ordinary. Maybe pizza is a bit better but the rest.is below normal. Service could improve a lot. This older lady.what a thing! Instead of asking me for more drinks she asks me for the bill. Verdict: give it a try if you want some Italian food and are around. But I would not do a detour for it! !

Last night we met up with friends for dinner at Il Fornetto in Lachine. It was hands down THE best lasagne with a delicate tomato sauce that I have ever had in my life! My husband is from an Italian family so we know our Italian food. The salad was very fresh with a tasty dressing. And to top it off, the tiramisu was excellent. The service was impeccable. I can't wait to go back.soon!

3 of us visited here without a booking on a busy evening after a disastrous experience at a different pizzeria. The pizzas were so tasty, and we had a lovely bottle red to match.

Today was outdoors and had great weather and view of Lachine canal.

Have tried Fantasia Pizza and Smoked salmon pasta rose sauce. Very good. Since wife and we’re sharing, they food was split into 2 plates for us.

After meal, can walk around the Canal for a scenic walk.

Great Italian food. Has tortellini soup and veal Parmigiano. Excellent

Almost 40 years. This is my 2nd time here. First time I think cell phones had just been introduced, LOL. Great service from start to finish. We had melenzane parmiggiana, Fornetto antipasto which includes calamari, salsiccia alla pepperonata, portobello mushrooms, and we split a Fornetto pizza that we customized by removing the peppers and adding arrugola. Everything was done right to our liking (tasted fresh).

Service vraiment mauvais! La serveuse nous a dit qu’on devait dépenser pour du dessert et de l’alcool, sinon on est pas des clients assez payants!

DU PAIN FROID avec du BEURRE FROID, j’ai jamais vu ça! C’est normal selon eux parce qu’ils ont juste un four, un micro ondes a la limite peut-être une bonne solution!

Elle nous a chargé un extra parce qu’on s’est partagé notre assiette. Le spaghetti était dégueulasse, la sauce chimique qui goutait plus le ketchup que la vraie sauce tomate italienne et les pâtes étaient trop cuites.

Le prix! Ridicule, BEAUCOUP TROP CHER pour les petites assiettes. Le poulet parmigiano goûtait le PFK.

C’est ma blonde qui a payé, heureusement pour le resto honnêtement je serais parti sans payer!

Quand tu overprice de la mauvaise bouffe, au moins offre un bon service!

After hearing lovely things about this Italian restaurant with a waterfront view, I had to try it out. Though a bit pricey, the food was absolutely delicious. Super tasty, the staff were generally very attentive, and set us up immediately with water & bread (many restaurants skimp out on that these days, so bonus points there). Drinks came fast and so did the appetizers, all were yummy. Portions were a decent size of everything as well, so overall when you factor the view (you can sit either main floor, terasse, upstairs, or upstairs on the balcony) so you have many options to view the waterfront!

Thank you to Il Fornetto, for an amazing evening to celebrate my birthday. Everything was a 10, have been many times. Kudos to the staff, especially Evan, he is a class act. Thank you Elaine

Ordered a couple pizzas and drinks to take out on the canal. The pizzas were UNREAL. SO GOOD.

Bel endroit, super staff, des serveuses très agréables et souriantes. Un peu cher pour les prix des plats qui restent simples.

Overall, I had a positive experience. Came for lunch and enjoyed a delicious pizza with some friends. We sat outside on a nice day same a great view of the water. I ordered a pizza with garlic, tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and I believe some spices. The tomatoes were key, and made it for a sweeter sauce that I personally really love. Service was good, though I did find our waiter a bit pushy. He was super good with knowing all the menu items.

I found the price too high. It's getting ridiculous. After tax and 15% tip, my meal was $35 and all I got was a pizza. That's just crazy if you ask me. So for that, I'm taking away a star. I can dine much better at more delicious places for this much and I personally feel like I'm getting taken advantage of.

Je connais ce restaurant depuis au moins 30 ans malheureusement ce n est plus ce que c était a ma grande déception. Le service etais sans attention on te balance ton assiette mange rapidement et quitte on a besoin de la table. La gérante ou propriétaire semblait ors de contrôle.
Ce restaurant ou nous avons de tres bon souvenir est maintenant comparable a un fast food de luxe 200$ pour deux. Nous n) retournons plus.
Pizza, salade césar, escalopes de veau trop cuite et arroser de citron ce n est pas un vrais picatta al limone.

Honestly, this is one of our favourite restaurants and has been for years. They have consistently fantastic service, amazing quality of food and the atmosphere is incredible. We did our wedding party at this restaurant 9 years ago and we come every year to celebrate. I can’t say enough about how much we love this establishment.

Je suis allée manger avec une amie.
Les prix ont beaucoup augmenté mais je comprends parfaitement cette situation.
Cependant quelle surprise le café régulier coûte 4$ pas de problème. Le réchaud du café coûte 4$ ceci est vraiment incroyable! Le serveur m'offre le réchaud sans me mentionner qu'il me chargera à nouveau un café!

Food is mediocre, ingredients aren't fresh (tomatoes in a Caprese were clearly imported even though it's the middle of summer and amazing fresh tomatoes can be bought locally). Pizza was decent but nothing special. Pasta was overly oily and not typical restaurant quality
