This is my favorite Bookstore, it not only has an infinite selection of titles in English and French but it has a delightful gift section, toy store and a wonderful café

The upstairs cafe makes delicious lattes and it's so lovely to browse a book a bit while having one, before deciding to buy.

This is my first choice for books on the metaphysical. It has plenty of choices for baby to experienced witches, and their collection is ever-growing.

A great place to start your journey in the craft, or to save money on the same books you'd buy at a smaller shop. If you want to save money, start at Indigo

One of the few good libraries left with good space and easy access just not many people to ask for help bur this new era, almost self service wherever we go.

Book shops are few and far between so it's always a pleasure to come here. However, I find it difficult to find books even when the Indigo app lists them as in stock. Even so, I love being able to browse and find surprises. So, I like it but I am torn between wanting to support a bookshop but it being easier to find specific books.

A great bookstore. The place was crowded when we were there but the staff were working hard to help customers.

Nice store, helpful staff. Long line up due to Christmas and Covid19 restrictions. Be kind to the staff, they are friendly and helpful especially considering the conditions.

I always enjoy going to Indigo. I miss The Starbucks that was inside though. It was so pleasant to buy a book, grab a coffee and listen to the people play the grand piano.

This place is heaven, i just go inside and get lost into this heavenly world for so many hours. They have books for each and everyone. I wish i could just stay inside this store forever.

Always have a good experience here, not only is there a great selection of French and English books they also have lots of records, party games (like cards against humanity which is really fun!) and lots of really good manga! Definitely come here if you want a relaxing place to browse and read

Might be a good idea to change your business hours on your website so people don’t waste an hour of their time trying to pick up a book only for the shop to be closed. Not impressed

I like that they have an extensive books inventory. You can spend hours there by browsing books. The second floor is gigantic

My go to book store! It’s such a great place to just go look at books even with no intention to buy anything specifically. Location is literally perfect for students too!

Whenever its raining, you know where to go! I would have love more an intimate section where you can geek out but overal the staff is helpful, the selection is wide and the prices are fair! Hard work pays off! Always a happy customer there!

What a store. They almost have everything here. I bought a snuggle me organic infant lounger here, so worth it for a newborn.

Belle sélection mais c'est un bordel pour retrouver un livre. Cela dit la sélection francophone s'agrandit. Il ne manquerait plus qu'une section dans d'autres langues pour que cela soit parfait.

Je suis sérieusement contrariée.
Je suis allée dans leurs magasin du Centre Eaton a Montréal et j'ai constaté que les produits en français y sont cruellement minoritaires.
Je n'ai aucun problèmes a faire de la lecture en anglais mais il me semble que dans une ville francophone, un province francophone, la moindre des choses serait de favoriser des produits francophone et d'offrir des possibilités en anglais plus que le contraire.

Que j'aime cette librairie. J'adore me promener entre ses rayons, entendre ses clients échanger avec les libraires. Bonne sélection de livres en français et de livres québécois. Acheter ici, en personne ou en ligne est une excellente façon de s'assurer que Amazon ne vienne pas étouffer les librairies canadiennes.

Très bon lieu mais la librairie française est un peu petite par rapport à la partie en anglais. Genre une petite étagère pour les livres affaires contre plus de 3 rayons en anglais.

C'est juste à côté quelques pas du magasin Simons au centre-ville de Montréal et je ne l'avais jamais remarqué! Il y a beaucoup plus de choix de livres francophones et anglophones dans cette librairie comparativement à Renaud-Bray et Archambault! Bravo, bravo! We were looking for our son which is almost 3 years old, so we weren't sure if they would have enough books for children and if they do how we can find what we're looking for. A lady who was at the children's section helped us a lot and we easily a few good books. I wish we could take more because there were a lot of options available and they all were very good and educative. About other sections I cannot comment but from the look of it, I guess those sections would be good too. Overall a very good experience.

Easily one of my favorite places in Montreal. This book store has two floors of books and other items. It’s clean, beautiful, and well-staffed. I often spent an hour or two in the store browsing and reading books before the pandemic. I cannot wait to spend hours lost in reading in this bookstore again!

My favorite place to get books, information, tarot cards or just to get inspired and enjoy a great tea. Love their wonderful accessaries and great gift ideas. They have a great coffee shop on the second floor with GREAT vegan desert or wraps from Aux Vivre. Definitely recommend even if it is simply to sock up some of the great positive vibes <3

I used Indigo Montreal's (1500 McGill College Ave) online ordering & pick up system; The online ordering was swift and easy, however the pick-up for my order is where I reached disappointment. I will first say that this rating would have been lower if it hadn't been for Indigo's quick preparation for this order. I ordered one book and picked it up the following day, although the order had been prepared for me the same day of purchase.
I had chosen the pick up option as I was looking to limit my exposure with the store. When I went in to pick up the order, after weaving my way around the tightly packed aisles and the beautifully inconvenient staircase, I reached the pick up section in the back corner on the second floor of the store. Having to walk through the entire store to retrieve a book from the far end of the entrance defeated this purpose of limiting my exposure.

Delightful book store in which to spend one's time in a visit. When I worked in Downtown Montreal I spent numerous lunch hours (we were fortunate to have 1.5 hours) checking out and purchasing books, cards, stationary, etc.

On m'a offert la carte plum plus qui m'a fait économiser beaucoup d'argent (40% de rabais avec la carte).

Amazing selection, it's very quiet right now. Employees are joking "are we a bookstore anymore? ". Ordered a book I didn't want to buy off Amazon, they have no status update otherwise than "shipment delayed". Apparently they are still going through the Xmas orders backlog and there is no way to know when I'll get it. But I'm told to expect closer to a month than several more weeks. Disappointed, but then again it is covid-season!

Nous sommes le 9 Decembre et je voulais faire un cadeau d'anniversaire cette fin de semaine. Après avoir commander un livre le 23 novembre avec reception prevue le 3 décembre, me voila extrement decu de me faire repondre au telephone apres 3 numeros differents et 30 minutes d'attentes que finalement le site n'etait pas a jour lors de ma commande et que le livre en question est deja vendu. Sans mon appel, visiblement personne ne m'aurait jamais prevenu.me voila sans cadeau deux jours avant la date d'anniversaire avec aucuns moyens d'avoir le livre a temps meme pas amazon.soutenez les commerces locaux qu'ils disaient.premiere et derniere experience chez vous indigo. Vous venez de gacher une fete d'anniversaire.bravo

Looked for 3 books which are supposed to be in stock a couple of weeks ago, never found them. Alphabetical order seems to be a suggestion since there is very little actual order by author or title in any of the categories. Unless it happens to be a Heather's pick, that is, then there are more than enough copies for all and they are clearly visible! The books I looked for are, or have recently been, on the NY Times bestseller list, not obscure titles. Very disappointed because I love your store.

Beaucoup de choix, deux étages très propres et avec littéralement de tout. En revanche, une fois que j'ai utilisé les ordinateurs disponibles pour chercher si mon livre est en stock, je suis perdue. Je ne sais jamais où aller pour le chercher.
Les ordinateurs indiquent pas section mais je ne sais pas où se trouve la section.

Always amazing selection for both English and French. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend the down town store as the best selection on books. They can also order books for you if they don't have what you are looking for.

There's lots of choices for everyone, even in French and English. Lineups look long but the flow to the cashiers was surprisingly efficient. COVID restrictions seemed to be reasonably under control, as far as Number of people allowed.

Super helpful staff, amazing products to browse through and a decent collection of books to browse through. I honestly can spend hours there just going through different genres of the novels, coffee table books and any random gem that you can find there. I picked up a couple of moleskin planners and a few bits and bobs.

Compared to a Borders or a good indie bookstore, this place had good books and good light, but didn't feel like a place to talk books or meet an author. It was far to efficient, like a fast book venue. Tell me why I shouldn't just order on Amazon?

Si vous êtes un mordu de la lecture, vous êtes a la bonne adresse. Très grand choix de livres de toutes les disciplines en Anglais et en Français, beaux livres et musique, tout y est. Vous pouvez également lire votre bande dessinée préférée en sirotant un bon café sur place. Un personnel agréable et professionnel.

J'adore cette place et les objets que l'on y trouve sont super. Par contre, il est urgent de revoir la carte des prix car ils sont exorbitants. 16$ pour 10 petits bâtonnets d’encens.

Staff was very helpful in a very stressful situation. Kudos to them as they were seriously outnumbered in heavy shopping season. Book selection is what you ought to expect.

Si je pourrais habiter au Indigo, je le ferais sans hésiter! Ambiance relaxe, immense variété de livres (particulièrement anglos mais aussi belle variété francos) et employés souriants et professionnels même pendant heure de pointe. Ils ont tout ce qu'on peut vouloir dans une librairie: livres, idées-cadeaux, décos pour la maison, articles de cocooning (bas, doudou, tuque, coussins). J'y vais depuis plus d'un an au moins 1 fois par mois et je n'ai jamais été déçue. Seul conseil: si vous recherchez un livre, vérifiez si ils l'ont et dans quelle section grâce à leur base de donnée sur les ordis un peu partout dans le magasin:)
