They are of the right work ethic (CPC) fast and make do to improvise to get the job done well and effectively. Jobs that other won't take on they might do. I can tell you that a $6.5k bleeding edge laptop that other stores wanted minimum $180 (cash!) To diagnose they would do for 45$ but since I knew what needed replacement and parts are very scarce, I bought the parts before they were gone (only one globally for sale). They will install. Saved me at least $1000 going to them! Alienware X17R1 HQ11700 5.3Gz (gallium cooled) 3080GTX 12Gb (Gallium cooled) 64Gb Kingston RAM 4TB in 2x2 RAID 0 120HZ 4K UHD HDR display.entire display assembly was ripped off and destroyed.

Poor comms, lack of transparency. Shocking to get no receipt after dropping costly hardware here. No written communication despite asking day 1 for email updates. In the span of 1 month½ only got 2 calls from Jim. Estimated 300$ for a "repair". Had to go there multiple times just to be told to come back later. Rescheduled pick up because the laptop wasn't there. In the end I never got a quote on paper. Despite asking for a full breakdown ("your repair document is ready"), the invoice wasn't ready + poorly edited: no price for the replaced chip ("you can look it up online"), no exact info on the troubleshooting/identified issue, wrote "repair- 200$". Making it look like the job is done but that wasn't a full repair since the laptop is only charging/booting now (no video signal). Had to insist for a v2. So 200$+TX for "5 days of troubleshooting" when I already explained the cause+manufacturer diag, a month waiting for the chip then soldering it by outsourced lab.
Could have been handled much better. The owner recognized the negligence.
P. S; It's 2022, doesn't take much to setup a proper billing/ticketing/contact system. No doubt Jim is nice and knowledgeable - BUT could *really* improve the service. Reading other reviews, it's not the first time there is a misunderstanding.

Best service I had in years, went for a usb port physical damage and a software issue on my desktop. Jim was very helpful, incredibly fast and gave quick and good feedback to resolve my problem.

Will go again for all my future needs.

Jim is the man! Made a small repair that Best Buy told me 200$ and 2-3 weeks and he did it for 75$ in 2 hours it was ready! I recommend!
