Jack Layton Park

This is a beautiful place to walk or even to have a picnic. There is parking available here and a lovely walking track by the water which makes you reach Sandy Beach, this hike was only approx 1km one way and very flat.

Love this small park. There’s picnic areas and access to a beach. The paths are well maintained and very quiet. Many people bring their kids and strollers.

Beau parc avec tables à pique-nique. Belle place pour mettre à l'eau; paddles board, kayak, bateaux. Par contre le stationnement est réservé au résidents mais un autre stationnement a été aménagé avant d'arriver au parc juste après le stationnement de la gare.

La plage etait barré mais accescible et oui je trouve que c une plage qui vaut le detour.ca colle a l image de Layton, je respect le bonhomme et les voilier en escale ou le capitaine debarque a terre avec ca femme.vraiment aller faire un tour c est surprenant comme c est beau.parti de la ben exité Five stars

Park is wonderful but for some reasons people have to park 300 meters away instead of inside parking lot adjusted to parc

Seul hic pas de toilette sur place.

Beaucoup de dommages par les inondations de mai 2023, pas d’accès au pont. Il est inaccessible.

Great park but cannot go anymore since they put permit only parking. No info on what that even means or where to get one

J'aime beaucoup ce parc. Je suis photographe et l'utilise souvent pour mes séances extérieurs. Très beau bord de l'eau et plage

Beautiful park with stunning views over the lake. There are also trails leading to Sandy Beach, and plenty of squirrels around if you want to watch some wildlife. Parking is available if you have a permit from the city.
