It was new year holidays and we booked this restaurant from Toronto for spending new year night in Montreal.
They charged us $125 for each person. We were supposed to have 5 meal from appetizer to dessert.
When we got there, we found the portions so small.some of them were cold. We came up to dessert. After a long wait we asked, do we have dessert? They said Yess.
They brought us one dessert with one spoon. Waiting again, nobody showed up for the rest. We thought, maybe this, one dessert is for 3 persons. Finally I asked our waitress that do we have more for 2 more people, she said Yess.
She brought us 2 more dessert with the big spoon and it was so annoying. I asked, do you have small spoon, they said very firm, they are out of small spoon.me and my daughter had to eat the dessert with soup spoon. The dessert was very heavy and too sweet. The crust was really hard.
When I was going to pay, I paid the tip by amount which was less than 15%.
The waitress rushed to me and told me directly that I must pay for tips 15% not less than it and I had to pay the difference.
I have paid $500 for 3 people finally, moreover I was feeling inferior.
I have a very bad experience with that night.
It’s not recommended.

Très belle découverte. Les plats étaient goûteux. Le personnel très serviable et poli. A refaire c' est sûr. Merci.

Excellent à tous les niveaux. Pas asser de mascarpone dans le tiramisu à mon goût mais reste très bon. Les pâtes au veaux étaient vraiment bonnes. Belle ambiance et bon service.

J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de souper au restaurant Jacopo, et je dois dire que l'expérience a été tout simplement délicieuse. Dès notre arrivée, l'ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante du restaurant a créé une atmosphère agréable.

Ce qui a vraiment retenu mon attention, c'est la variété de choix pour les personnes ayant des restrictions alimentaires. J'ai été ravi de découvrir une sélection étendue d'options sans gluten qui n'ont en rien compromis la saveur ou la texture. La qualité des ingrédients était évidente dans chaque bouchée, et cela a contribué à rendre notre repas mémorable.

Notre serveur, Antoine, a joué un rôle essentiel dans notre expérience positive. Sa connaissance approfondie du menu et sa capacité à nous conseiller judicieusement ont vraiment enrichi notre repas. Sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme ont ajouté une touche personnelle à notre visite, et nous avons grandement apprécié son attention aux détails.

Sans aucun doute, nous envisageons de revenir sans hésiter pour savourer à nouveau cette expérience culinaire exceptionnelle.

Comme d’habitude, service et nourriture excellente. Anne-Sophie était adorable avec nous, on a vraiment sympathisé, le service est un 10/10! Merci pour cette expérience de plus au Jacopo, qui reste mon restaurant préféré à MTL

Easter brunch. We were looking forward to this. The service was full of smiles and kindness, the place is designed with elegance with a mix of traditional and contemporary. The level up is more endearing as the large windows give way to generous natural light and the back room has a glass ceiling. Ask to be seated there if they can!

The brunch itself was tasty but nothing to roll over tbh. The first course was delicious. The second course however. The risotto was too liquid, the salmon was excessively covered in coco sauce, and the Italian croissant had big chunks of Swiss cheese - I had asked if there was a possibility to remove the ricotta at the top, she said no problem; what she omitted to say was that they would remove the tomato confit and replace the mortadella with another cheese. Communication goes a long way! I would have chosen another meal. As for the salmon, she informs us that it’s taking a little longer to serve us because there’s a newbie in training. I get that we’re in labor shortage but can you train your staff on another day than Easter Day?

Despite these two misses, I would return for the decor and try something new on their menu.

Food was good, this night was only topped by the excellent service from our waiter Nick. Great knowledge through-out.

An amazing service with food that tasted incredible. Will be coming back for sure!

The restaurant sets a beautiful, calm atmosphere for a delicious brunch. We shared with a friend two Antipasti and two “primi” plates. Every plate was exquisite.

If you visit the old port you have to visit this awesome restaurant. It will be so worth your money. It was surprising that for 22 each we ate so good!

We recommend the Toast avocado con uovo and Pane Dorato.

My girlfriend and I went to Jacopo to celebrate her birthday in early February. Food was unreal, wine was great, and our server Jonathan was the man! Jonathan was one of the best servers I’ve had at any restaurant. He was polite, respectful, and a genuine human being. Thanks Jonathan!

Super endroit! À chaque fois, je n'ai jamais été déçue de mon repas. La table d'hôte du midi est vraiment abordable et surtout délicieuse.

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, especially on the second floor. The service is great and the ambiance and nice. They made me a custom mocktail.

Burrata salad: Very good, but i find the price of this salad crazy high.

Truffle ravioli: my ravioli were undercooked, and the truffle taste is very very subtle so I was a bit disappointed.

The chocolate cake was very good and fudgy. Very sweet, goes great with a glass of milk or coffee.

For a 3 course meal and 1 cocktail, it cost me 88$. I was disappointed by their ravioli, would not recommend, or ask for them to be overcooked.

This place was the highlight of our trip to Montreal! Our waitress Sophie was incredible, she made the best wine recommendations and took such great care of us all night. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food was amazing, service was amazing, and the atmosphere is incredible. We also had the best espresso martinis I've ever had. Cannot recommend this restaurant or SOPHIE enough!

We went to Jacopo after seeing so many ads in Montreal subway. We were slightly disappointed that the normal menu was smaller because of their participation to the "Happening gourmand" event this month. But the food and cocktail we ordered was amazing with good portions. We definitely loved the quality of the food and the freshness.

The only think that could have been improved was the service (the cocktail arrived after the antipasti and we had to ask for it). Apart from that we recommend, it is pricey but really tasty!

Super restaurant italien qui propose des pâtes sans gluten. Les cocktails sont super bon et bien chargé. Le service est très agréable et l’endroit magnifique.

Horrendous. This place is far from “fine traditional Italian cuisine”. For starters, what kind of chef allows a plate of carpaccio di pomodoro to come out with tomatoes as hard as apple slices? Farfalle pasta salad tasted like it was a gas station snack. Eggplant parmigiana was mediocre at best. Meat was overcooked. Dessert plate should be served at chuck-E cheese kids party. Very disappointing.
FINALLY— OVERPRICED!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and this was just terrible. I will give them this, service was nice. Waitress was extremely helpful and attentive.

We came for the table d'hôte experience from Happening Gourmand and it did not disappoint! We each were able to select something to our tastes, and everything was nicely flavoured and worked well with the suggested white wine bottle we ordered for the table. My dish was the gnocchi with pesto alfredo, well balanced and creamy, and the gnocchi itself was cooked just right. For dessert, I highly recommend the lemon meringue tart, it had a great sour bite that cut the sweetness of the crust. Only giving 4 stars for atmosphere because my parents had a bit of a harder time with the music being a bit too high for them to hear conversation well over, and where we were seated there was a bit of a draft from the door, but otherwise it was a really lovely experience. I hope to return to try more items on the regular menu!

First time with family in Montréal, stopped by for lunch based on reviews. Turns out there is a Happening Gourmand food festival going on, with tempting options for both fixed menus. We had no reservations, but were offered a table for 1.5 hours for lunch as supposedly the table was reserved after. With a 6 yo and a 12 yo you hardly ever have a meal longer than an hour…well… think again…the service was honestly slow to a fault. 20 min to put the order in, and 45 min to cook, after an hour we started getting nervous. 6 yo almost falls asleep at the table. The fixed menu food was excellent, kids menu is limited to spaghetti and cheese, but it works 100% of the time for the 6 yo and in general service was friendly. But gosh - you’d think with food limited really to 3 appetizers and 3 main course items it shouldn’t take so long. When we were leaving after our allotted 1.5 hrs the Restaraunt was nearly empty. So much for reservations.

Superbe restaurant, décor invitant avec belle ambiance et belles personnes, serveurs attentionnés. Pasta très bonnes bon vin, bravo!

I visited Friday and had the lunch course and the sangria on the first floor. The staff was friendly and the food was super great! I was able to enjoy relaxed atmosphere.

The place was good, the restaurant is nice, the food was delicious, we ordered Rissoto ai Funghi with extra Truffles and Chicken Marsalla. However, I don't give it 5 stars because since the restaurant is located in a very touristy place, the waiters are very good trained to pressure you all the time to consume quickly and that bothers me a lot.
