I dealt with mike for a rb26 swap and I was amazed how clean was the swap in person. Compression tested in person and answered all questions.

Purchased two motors (ej253 and FB25) in march of 2023. I received both as promised and up to that point it was a great experience.
However the problem came when one of the motors had a bunch of rust in the head.
I contacted Mike and told him about it to which he responded "that's normal, it happens in shipping".
oddly enough the other motor didn't have any rust in it.

We were told will be a direct swap and wasn't, a lot of parts didn't match the motor that came out of the car.but that's not the big issue.

The issue is the FB25 consumes 1L of oil per 1500K that's crazy talk for a motor that "should" have less the 90k on it.
But no worries right because they say that they have warranty.after trying to contact Mike for several days, he eventually blocked my number.then I emailed him, still no response.then I called there toll free line, hey would you look at that someone answered, oh but Mike conveniently wasn't there and I was told to call back at 10am.
I did and have called almost every day but now no one answers.all I'm asking is for them to hold to there warranty.

10 out of 10 would not recommend this company.

I buy a toyota prius engine super clean and low km motor. Cool people and the service was super friendly. Will buy more and more engines from them in the future

Attention attention. Cet endroit est dangereux surtout si vous avez un problème de transmission. Une fois votre voiture remorque chez lui, vous verrez votre facture s'envoler, en plus il va vous demander de payer cash. Le deuxième jour il me sort le truc de l'huile a transmission qui doit être a vôtre charge.

Got my 2010 CR-V's engine replaced at Tokyo Motor Import. I was so nervous and worried to go trough that job. But Abdul is a great guy and very patient and he took the time to talk with me and calm my stress. Until now the engine is way better than the original one. They did a pristine job also, my CRV was like no one ever touched it! I recommend that place, they care!

Worst place in town. The manager his very rude, overpriced parts, drove 3h bc he told me he could sell me one part and when I arrived there he told me he never said so. PLEASE, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Hands-down the best out of state company five star. I had no problem with customer service.easy to take care of when finding parts for Japanese cars or finding any type of engine this is the company to go to or to call guarantee you will not be disappointed. Mike is the guy to call! He helped me with my DC2 front. When I mean parts I mean PARTS for days.

Needed some nice wheels for my NA miata, I wasn’t to sure what I was looking for until I found JDM Tokyo Motor at Montreal. Mike was able to help me out with a set of wheels at a good price. Really good selection too with engines and other parts, really freaked me out.

If I could give no stars I would. NEVER go here. Customer service is OUTRAGEOUS.they get in your face (during covid I might add) with no mask on nothing. Giving you dirty looks and getting angry at you because you don't want to pay 300$ for a 50$ part, nope never again will I ever step foot in this place.

Talk to Mike on the phone about a K20a Type-R motor and transmission he has for sale. Very respectful guy! After a talk for a bit. I purchased the motor and transmission from them! VERY EXCITED to get it! Definitely will be purchasing more stuff from them soon! Don't hesitate to give them a call for all your JDM parts!

Inquired about some engines that are on stock on line. Message them and they took a fee days and said it's sold out. So either they didn't have any in stock and said they did or didn't get back to me and sold it from under me. Won't give prices either

First I came to buy wheels for my honda civic si and Mike was very helped, they had a wide selection of wheels to chose from in all price ranges. I was able to find a set of wheels I loved and was given a great price. Don't listen to the bad reviews this place is amazing come check it out in person.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This guys been telling me to come down for 4 weeks and never answers my calls. When he does answer, he tells me to wait until monday.wait until friday.wait until next week. At the end he raised the price by $2000. Not a serious business at all. Dont waste your time driving down to Montreal. He also said that i have to help him take that parts out the warehouse. - i guarantee the price will be raised as he never keeps his word. WORD OF ADVICE: BE HONEST!

I called about a motor/trans combo they had in stock listed for $2100 USD on their website, and they told me this story about US engine importers driving up market and how his price was actually over $3200 USD. This is ridiculous and I'd highly recommend avoiding this place. I have purchased several motors from importers before and no one has ever done this.

Purchased a set of 17" 5x100 stock MAGs from JDM Motor Imports. The staff were very helpful. They let me inspect the MAGs thoroughly. They even put one on my car so I can ensure that they fit (I didn't ask) so showed me that they value customer service. Will do business with again.
