This place used to be soo iconic and good. But I came home to find my spicy chicken to have only traces of chicken.they used to put a substantial amount, since it’s a chicken sandwich. I get that there’s inflation but they are increasing their prices while decreasing the quality. They also purposefully placed the chicken to the sides so it look’s like the sandwich is full of chicken.just sad: ( (I added the mayo myself)

Always good and not expensive! Tasty food, served quickly and at anytime of the day. In my opinion it’s a great great great concept. Highly suggest that place! You get your money worth!

Perfect when you're hungry but you don't wanna eat a whole meal while shopping in downtown or at late night. Cheap and cozy vibes.

This place is absolutely horrendous. The panini smaller than my hand and I paid over $30 for 2 (one for me and one for my friend. I asked a Philly cheesesteak and what I got was a tiny soggy bread with prepacked meat that I can buy at the grocery store for cheap. They don’t even cook or cut their own meat. To make matters worse I opened the sandwich and there is basically NO CHEESE. How do you sell a CHEESEsteak with no cheese. The small portion of cheese they had in it was HALF of prepacked cheese slice. AGAIN NOTHING HERE IS FRESH. This place is basically Subway for double the price and a quarter of the portion. Please save your money and NEVER come here.

Je ne donne aucune etoile a ce resto super sale. On y allait au debut et çela a bcp changé. La bouffe est nulle, l ambiance nulle, service nul. En plus ma fille s'est fait volé son sac a l 'interieur, aucune aide avec camera, ni rien.a la place de ce "resto", je fermerai et j'ouvrirai a la place un repère pour voleurs

Usually joes panini is bussin, good thing your paninis are strong because this was the first time i tried the mac n cheese since business was sold and extremely disappointed… i got dry noodles with a bit of cheese baked on the top, there’s literally no cream or cheese or anything cooked inside it’s just bare plain dry noodles gratinée? Very sad 0/5 for the mac for me I do not recommend

Fresh hot paninis, loved the grill veg panini, price is reasonable and offers many varieties, if your looking for a quick bite, will definitely suggest this place

I heard this place was falling to shambles and never to go but being downtown and looking for something quick i decided to stop by disregarding the advice given to me.

I think we paid about 12$ per trio
Which comprised of the sandwich.a drink and choice of a chip, cake, or salad.

Had a sausage panini, made with
Fake tasting sausage that tasted like it just came out of the freezer.
Also they used lettuce instead of coleslaw, slapped the cheese in there with some mustard and there ya go!

Très mauvaise expérience! Les paninis que j’ai reçu étaient vide, ils ont oublié la viande à l’intérieur, puis j’ai reçu un seul des 6 cookies commandé (et nature!)
Ils ont du faire la commande les yeux fermés pour livrer de telles choses

I am an old client of joes panini. I just ordered chicken panini and the quality is very bad compared to previous times.

Nasty, basic, flavourless sandwiches. Extremely cheap tasting. Salads are terrible too being just as basic and flavourless. There’s a sign that reads: “No wifi, talk to each other! ” implying they’re a business that promotes socializing but in reality the own is too cheap to put wifi. The owner is a jerk. Also expensive. AVOID AT ALL COST!

I’ve been coming here since 2015. I’m in shock how this employee didn’t wash her hands after touching the screen, putting their fingers in her ears, as well as grabbing a cookie to eat. I requested her to wash her hands or wear gloves and she told the kitchen staff only. I wasted my time and money for a disgusting experience. I hope the owner will change their staffs bad habits.

Extrêmement déçue, j’aurais du me fier aux avis négatifs et passer mon chemin. Le personnel ne fait aucun effort pour simplement répondre aux clients, c’est à se demander pourquoi ils font ce job, l’attente est beaucoup trop élevée pour ce genre de commande et les paninis n’avaient vraiment rien d’exceptionnel, en plus d’être très peu garnis. Allez au McDo, vous serez moins déçus.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant after a Habs game. I’m not sure if you can find better sandwiches at a better price. Fresh bread and ingredients and full of flavour. There was a big group who ordered ahead of us and our food still came out quickly.

I used to love going after work since it's 24 hrs. Not only did they raise the price from $5.50 for a panini to $8.00, but they're beyond stingy with the ingredients and the bread is awful. I get raising the prices cuz everything is more expensive nowadays, but you can't raise your prices while giving less to your customers. RIP Joe's Panini indeed.

Used to be a clutch spot but this year they’ve increased the prices twice and so in a matter of 6 months it’s gone from $5.50 to $8.00 per sandwich. Bit of a steep increase for a place who’s appeal was based primarily on how cheap it was. Don’t really see myself going here anymore.

Edit: Just walked by it and now it’s apparently 11 dollars per sandwich and all the sandwiches have way less in them than before lmao.

N’Y ALLER PAS. Il y a quelques années c’était les meilleurs paninis de Montréal. Depuis la nouvelle administration, je suis choqué à quel point c’est différent. Différent pain, quantité de viande à l’intérieur qui fait pitié, même chose pour la laitue/tomates. Très très cheap sur la quantité. Le restaurant est super sale. Les poubelles débordent. Tout laisse à désirer. Tu vois que le staff qui est là n’ont pas envie d’être là. Ton panini ne sera pas fait avec amour. Je souhaite la faillite à ce restaurant, car ils salissent l’image qu’avait Joes Panini.

DO NOT ORDER FROM A DELIVERY APP - incorrect items were given 2 times in a row? My friend and i ordered from his door dash last week and he wanted lasagna and got shepards pie.today, using the uber eats app i ordered a couple paninis and the lasagna as well, and got shepards pie instead of lasagna again? I do not even like shepards pie so that was a waste.this has happened twice now.if you no longer carry lasagna… take it off the menu? Same with the dr pepper i ordered for drink option and was given pepsi instead.you should let customers know through the app you don’t have an item and just refund them.i don’t want a random substitution that is not even similar.i will not be ordering from here on a delivery app ever again that’s for sure.

La fille est super gentille! Quel bon service. Puis le pabon+ salade au Jambon…. Sont délicieux.

Excellente expérience

Used to be my favourite spot in Montreal, but recently I went and it has changed. Used to be delicious, dense bread, now it's a cheap grocery store sub bun that tasted stale. Used to get the tomato & bocconcini which had thick slices of each and generous mayo. Now has thin sad slices of tomato, loonie-sized pieces of bocconcini, and FILLER! Lettuce and hot peppers just to pad out the sandwich. I know times are tough and I was happy originally that it survived the pandemic, but they raised the prices AND lowered the quality to the point where I don't think it's worth it to eat here anymore.

Went there are night the food was great but there was barely any space for the amount of clients they had, there was music blasting at full volume so it was pretty loud and noisy and I could barely hear any conversation. Would go again maybe in another time of the day.

Panini tout défait, en 2 morceaux et quand même donné, pas écrasé comme avant, personnel bête, prix qui ont augmenté. Vraiment, je barre ce resto de ma liste

Honestly ordered from there like right now as I am writing this and I have been wanting to say this for a while
They are horrible. There service is horrible.they have made me order from them multiple times and the subs aren't bad. It's there service that's just horrible. They owe me like three deserts and two drinks lmao and every time I order from them I wonder what they are going to come up next. It really sucks because it has potential but the staff there are just terrible. There phones are off the hook. Like what are there bosses even doing. When we call them no answer!

You changed the bread you use. And have started overcooking everything. My last two orders were absolute garbage. RIP Joes Paninis. When I called to ask what was up they made it sound like you are under new management. And it seems that new management is more concerned with saving a few cents than keeping their customers happy. There will be no episode of Kitchen Nightmares to save your business. You will just disappear.

If it was possible for me to give this restaurant a zero star I would. I went there to get a trio which initially cost12.50$. When comes the time to put an order, there's a problem with the machine used to do credit or debit card transactions, while being told by the worker that it happens all the time. Safe to say that because of that I'm now finding that 25$ where subtracted from my bank account, which is annoying cuz the food wasn't that good, only plain. The owner should consider replacing tools that are long over due.

We went late.around 10 or 11PM. I don’t know where all these angry reviews are coming from, but we really enjoyed our food and the staff and place were fantastic.

Avant, j’aurais mis 6 étoiles à cette place. Les prix étaient bons et les paninis excellents!
Depuis qu’il y a eu un changement de propriétaire, les prix ont trop augmenté, et le pire est que la qualité a grandement baissé! Le panini est a 8$, et les panini (poulet, viande fumée, saucisse, philly) ne sont pas bon, mais pas bon du tout! Même le pain a changé! C’est bien dommage!

Franchement pas fou, soit disant le meilleur panini de Montréal.
Déjà au comptoir tu vois les cuisines et ça a l’air sale mais quand j’ai vu les grill j’ai halluciné mais bref …

Certes le panini est pas cher mais il est ridiculement petit, y’a une pauvre tranche de viande, les crudités sont complètement écrasées et pas fraîches
Le panini est cuit en vitesse (le pain n’est même pas grillé, seul les tomates et la salade sont réchauffées) et est littéralement écrasé de toute part
Donc voila 1 étoile méritée

Place is filthy looks like hasn’t been cleaned up since opening! I don’t understand the hype of this place if you eat here you end up sure at the hospital emergency! Disgusting guys please clean up

Waited 30 minutes for my two panini to come out. Decided to just take the loss and go somewhere else. If I can save anyone else the hassle by reading this I’ll be happy.

I came here on a work lunch break and had to wait 30minutes for ONE sandwich. The sandwich was average, the chicken had a weird taste: (and I was still hungry after. Next time I’ll read review prior to going!

I bought a sandwich and enjoyed it so I bought another and they wouldn’t give it me after waiting 20 minutes for it because they thought I was scamming them or something. Literally had both receipts and had to argue with the staff for way too long to get the second sub. Decent food- good price - terrible service.

Des bons panini très peu dispendieux, si vous avez très faim prenez en deux. Plusieurs choix intéressants et 24h alors très pratique pour un petit arrêt rapide pour manger sur le pouce!

À la suite d’une soirée entre amis, nous sommes allés pour manger un panini. Je suis très déçue puisque j’ai constaté par après que j’ai été facturée deux fois pour mon sandwich. Après ma première transaction, ils m’ont dit que ça n’avait pas fonctionné et m’ont confirmé que ça arrivait souvent. Je leur ai même mentionné que je trouvais cela étrange et que j’étais assez certaine que ça avait fonctionné puisque le terminal affichait “transaction complétée”. Ils ont insisté en disant que leur machine était problématique et ont affirmé à nouveau que je n’avais pas payé et que je n’avais donc pas commandé. J’ai donc repayé. Même si le sandwich n’était pas dispendieux, c’est une question de principe et c’est franchement malhonnête. Ça ne se fait pas d’abuser des clients de cette façon en fin de soirée. Par ailleurs, plusieurs sandwichs n’avaient pas bon goût et la nourriture n’était pas en bon état.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Instead of Dr. Pepper, I got Coke. And instead of 4$ yogurt parfait, I got caramel cake @3,75$ but still charged 4$! The salad didn't have dressing-not even mayonnaise. The garden salad is mostly salad with pickle and an egg + 2 thin slices of yellow pepper and part of trio 12.95$ (panini, drink and dessert). The turkey panini wasn't bad but unimpressive. The napkins were shot in a bag from a canon cause not properly folded and looks a wee bit dirty. Will clean my toilet instead of wiping my mouth with it! Never again!

I ordered two portions of shepherd’s pie. Utterly disappointing experience. The meat in the pie was extremely salty…almost tasted like they dumped a whole jar of salt in it. I took a few bites and then had to throw everything away because the pie was just not edible. I contacted them via my delivery app and they claimed everything they served was “normal”. This will be my last time patronizing this restaurant…I’d rather flush away my 20 dollars through the toilet than spending them here.

This place used to be so good and it’s fallen apart! I come here often and half the time they don’t have what’s on the menu I can tell you it’s been a month since they haven’t had prosciutto.
