Has a gift with dogs of all sizes! We felt lost when we came across behavioral issues with our teenage dog, but JR'S training has given us back control and confidence when dealing with our dog.

As a new puppy owner the training that I am currently doing with JR is invaluable to being a new owner. I started the training immediately after getting my little one and he now walks like an angel on leash. I look forward to learning more techniques to have a safe and happy puppy.

Amazing trainer! Tried another trainer before him and nothing really changed (my dog would still bark at everyone and constantly tug on the leash), but now it is as if I have a completely different dog:)

JR has been great with our dog! We have seen a great improvement in her impulse control since starting his courses just after a few hours of training. We will continue to attend and use his training techniques.

We have 2 german shepherds, young, 1 year old, brother and sister, Kayro and Nala. We had a big problem controlling them, They were everywhere, pulled on a leash, jumped on people, So, we decided to train them. We chose Jo to be their teacher, And that was our best decision. After a few lessons, they changed their behavior, and we haven't finished the course yet.thank you Jo for your fantastic work

Really great trainer! My dog was really struggling with walking without pulling and barking at other dogs, people, cyclists etc… the trainings are done outside so the environment that triggers your dog can be worked on. The results were quick. You need to be consistent with what the trainer shows you, but if you are, it’s totally worth it! Would recommend:)

I’ve been going to JR for dog training for over 40 years now, and now my 5th dog!
He is absolutely the best, and ALL my dogs became model citizens that I could and did bring everywhere. His aversion training method is spot on and I laugh at fools using diversion methods and rewarding their dogs for bad behavior. It seems many of his clients are those who’ve gone through the mainstream and failed and have their unruly disobedient dogs pulling on harnesses like sled dogs. I have nothing but good things to say about his methods and results, otherwise I wouldn’t have gone back my entire life.

Abusing and using fear based training is not helpful in the long run, he whips and uses choke chains to "train" dogs, he also deletes the comments from people that have noticed the anxiety and the lack of long term training from customers, he also posts that he hasn't trained customers that posted bad review, if I were as cruel as the owner I would recommend using a choke chain and whipping him with chains to see how that helps him! It breaks my heart to hear that our companions that love us from the bottom of our heart get abused

Whatever you do, do NOT use JR. He uses fear driven methods. Every solutions for him consists of a harsh pull with a choker. The first thing he does when meeting you is making you sign a contract with full payment and will not refund you a dollar if you don't like his method. He will not give you an address and will want to meet in parks instead. Will ask for cash because his business is far from legit. I also just noticed that all his reviews date from the last year because he deleted his old profile because there was too many bad comments. I suspect his good reviews to be fake because nobody with common sense would leave a dog to him. Please avoid at all cost.

We've seen terrific results with JR. Our dog is listening more, barking much less, and becoming more comfortable with other dogs and humans.

JR is amazing at what he does. Within the first two classes with our dog we saw massive improvement in her behaviour and it keeps getting better and better! Thankful for this!

I've used JR's services for the past 7 months. His methods and training really worked. My dog was potty trained after 2 week's of training, taking my golden retriever for walks is so easy now without her pulling the leash. My dog used to bite my children and applying JR's methods now my kid's are enjoying playtime with her. I really recommend his methods. Thank you JR.
