Had an absolute delight of a sandwich from this place. Delicious, hot, juicy, perfectly spiced, heavy on the meat, fast service. Highly, highly recommend.

Petit resto café tunisien. Pas beaucoup de tables. La bouffe est Halal. Employés gentils et ambiance "super" décontracté, j'ai aimé le café latté, assez fort et amer. Seul bémol, le café était tiède et servi en verres jettables. Ça a coûté 4,50. Concernant les sandwichs, il me semble que le pain est fait sur place. Ils acceptent just débit et du cash.

The sandwiches are amazing. Like all the other reviews said, the bread is so fresh and really makes the taste of the sandwich so much better. The fries are alright, nothing special. Would definitely recommend!

First of all, the french fries are insane! All of them are crispy and they are seasoned perfectly. Then the sandwich, we tried panko chicken, it was really good, a nice mix of chicken and veggies with a sauce that tied everything together. Also, the bread is baked to order, you can see the steam getting out when they slice it open to prepare the sandwich, the bread being a little bit hollow makes it a perfect vehicle for a loaded sandwich! Keep up the good work guys!

I had the Tunisian Tuna. Bred is homemade and delicious. Ingredients are fresh but the sauce is way too “mayo” kind of overwhelms the entire thing. I give 4 stars and not five because the actual resto is bleak and dark and has a weird unclean vibe, it’s a shame that such good food in very hygienic conditions can’t be replicated in the seating area and the overall store (wires popping off walls, no light fixtures). It’s obvious they’re pretty much pushing you to get your food to go but then why even have the seated area?

Good sandwich, fair price and satisfactory size! Small place and not very pleasant to eat. There is an option to take home, too.

Very good lamb sandwich on in-house baked bread. The lamb was tender and succulent but needed a little salt. The fries were hot, salty, and crispy. The way I like.

This place is easily one of the top sandwiches you can find on the Montreal island. The bread is always made fresh and there’s just so much flavour packed into the meats and sauces.

I’ll get a craving for Kahwa almost weekly and often come here to enjoy their sandwiches. Especially during the summer, you can enjoy it on the walkable street on Mont Royal without the loud noises of cars disrupting your meal.

First time eating here after hearing good things from all of my friends. Definitely lived up to the expectation! One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Maybe just a liiiittle too small for a big eater like me but the flavours were so delicious and the bread was so fresh! Definitely coming back

Je suis toujours plus déçu après chaque passage au Kawha. Le service est très long (en partie expliqué par la période estivale). La mythique sauce Kawha n’était plus disponible. Comme lors de ma dernière visite il y a deux mois… Déçu. Les sandwichs ont toujours un aussi bon goûts, mais mes frites étaient à peine tièdes. Je ne retournerai pas de suite dans cet établissement qui m’est pourtant cher.

They make their own bread (Italian-style ciabatta). Plus the ingredients are very tasty and the sauces delicious. My favourite sandwich place in Montreal by far.

Great place for lunch. Tasty and fair priced. They bake the bread just before making the sandwiches. Recommended. We arrived around 1pm on a weekday and there were about 10 people queuing in front of the place. I was a bit worried we had to wait a long time but we got our sandwiches within 15 minutes. Wish they sold their bread separately too.
