Very disappointed. Won ton soup - the shrimp dumplings in the soup were good, but the broth was tasteless. Egg rolls burnt. Pan fried noodles with chicken and broccoli - again, not much flavor. Shrimp with ginger and scallions was okay but dry. Everything was brought out at once, soup, egg rolls and all the dishes. This place has really gone down, and their prices have gone up. Won't be bqck.

The food is deliciously great! The ambience and restaurant is super neat and tidy. The service crew is amazingly kind and respectful. I love this restaurant!

The food was mediocre at the best, everything was too sweet but edible. But, I have never seen such a “service”, if it can even be called that. The waiters were standing together, laughing and chatting loudly in Cantonese, totally disregarding customers, and we were only three couples there. When they served our order, my friend got her soup, and I sat and waited for mine. When she returned the soup as it was too sweet, my soup arrived. While I was eating my soup, she got the dish she ordered. She wanted to wait for me to share our dishes. I finished my soup and the waiters were still having a laugh, standing there. My dish came when my friend's dish was nearly finished and so, we took my untouched dish with us. Obviously, these people never heard of serving the dishes together, and their lack of common manners was shocking. I would never go there again.

Costumer service wasn’t friendly. We were picking up an order and the employee was yelling at us and other costumers.

Amazing food, and great service! The portions are large and great for sharing, and it is all delicious.

Great food but keep in mind that if you want takeout you can only place order by phone and not in store.

Best Chinese food in the city. Will not go anywhere else. Pam fried noodles done perfectly. No other place compares. Orange beef and general Tsao dishes are incredible. Highly recommend!

Great service and amazing food. I strongly recommend the shrimp fried Rice. Absolutely delicious.

Chinatown is the best But if you cant make it there, Kam Shing has some of the favorite commercialized style Chinese food dishes North Americans like. General Tao's chicken, salt and pepper pork chops, fried rice, cantonese chow mein, salt and pepper squid, honey garlic spareribs and much more.

Je n'avais pas mangé de la nourriture chinoise aussi délicieuse depuis fort longtemps; le service était courtois; tout était impeccable.

They lack respect to their costumers. When they serve soup to your cups, they just spill the soup on the table and don't even care about you. They speak very disrespectful and rude.

Who knows if they spat on your food?

Someone really has to check this restaurant and correct them for the good of Montreal and its people.

La soupe wonton est très bonne par contre, en se qui concerne les allergies le service est rude et inadéquat. Il est impossible pour eux de nettoyer la surface de travail pour éviter toute contamination avec l’allergène. Donc Si vous avez des allergies alimentaires je vous déconseille fortement cette endroit. En se qui concerne la nourriture, rien d’exceptionnel mais c’est bon pour le prix.

J'ai découvert ce restaurant depuis un peu plus de 15 ans, et c'est mon restaurant préféré depuis! Je pourrai manger chaque jour là bas.

I want to see female waitresses. Plus what plastic bag table cloth I do not get it, food is amazing, they also need to start under eat.

To say that the staff is rude is an understatement! The food is very basic and you almost get verbally assaulted. If you happen to come in late, you'll get an even worst treatment. Find yourself a better place to spend your money.

The food was very good, did not get that yucky feeling I sometimes get after eating chinese food. Service was not the best, but the food made up for it.

Excellent service and wonton soup. Unfortunately I wasn't very hungry and couldn't enjoy all the other delicious menu items but I know for a fact the noodles are delicious. If you're craving good, cheap Chinese food GO HERE

I recently dined here while visiting a friend in Montreal. I was really in the mood for Chinese food. They had no tables upon our arrival and the waiting area is basically none. Not the best setup. This restaurant is bright as hell. There's absolutely zero ambience whatsoever. They also use cheap dollar store type plastic table cloths. No biggie, but somewhat tacky.

I ordered the vegetable soup which was tasty. They did use a canned mushroom which was a turnoff. For my entree I ordered shrimp with broccoli with extra broccoli. The shrimp were a good size and tasted good. I can't say I noticed extra broccoli. The sauce was kinda eh.

The overall service was ok, but some things were forgotten for others in my party. This is a pretty subpar Chinese restaurant. I can't say I'd recommend.

Je ne retournerai jamais dans ce restaurant. La nourriture était vraiment mauvaise. Tous les plats que nous avons commandés (demi-assiette de canard et un pad thaï) avaient un goût trop prononcé de sauce de poisson. Le pad thaï était très salé, il a fallu demander un autre plat, car nous ne pouvions pas manger cela. Je ne comprends pas comment il est possible de donner 4 étoiles à ce restaurant. Les 2 étoiles que j'ai attribué sont pour le service. Très décevant comme restaurant et non recommandé.

Best Chinese restaurant in Montreal and we keep coming back since 2005 at least once a year. They have another restaurant in Laval which is as good. Perfect price, food and service. Very healthy and you never feel too stuffed with perfect complimentary tea.

A nice size easy to get too restaurant. We got there at around 6: 30 pm on a Sunday night and had too wait in line. Resto is well lit and service is quick and friendly. A big variety of Chinese dishes at reasonable prices. We started with the Dumplings in Peanut sauce and found them delicious. We continued with the Beef with Broccoli and found the beef very tender and the broccoli crisp, loved it. Shrimp and noodles was also very good. Side of chicken fried rice was perfect. Well worth the little wait.

Been to this restaurant several times. Food is pretty good, compared to other Chinese establishments in the area.
However, when I tried to make a reservation for 5 people plus a toddler I was told they only take reservations for min 8 persons on a Sat. They told me to come at 6: 30 and wait. Last time I waited for over 1 hour from 6: 30 on. Given we had a toddler with us that was too long a wait. Unfortunately, I will not be back coming again. Not a very accommodating resto.

Good food, salt n pepper pork chops are good here not like other Chinese restaurants in the Cote Des Neiges area where they are more fat than meat. Cantonese chow mein taste is ok but lacking more shrimp and they don't put any BBQ pork or snow peas. Waiters you need to repeat several times for them to understand. Overall above average.
