Delicious food, amazing prices. I love going there and ordering several different plates. I recommend starting with a fatouch salad and humus - just so good.

Had a lovely dinner with our group of 11. Everything was good. The only small comment - it would be great to get hot/warm pita bread instead of in a plastic bags. The breads were cold. But apart from that service and ambience was top notch and the arak cocktail was awesome.

The place has an excellent menu, and staff is friendly, the portions of main dishes are good, however the popular dishes are extremely small sizes compared to its counterpart.giving 4 stars for this matter and the fact that the staff basically forgets about you after the food is served just randomly coming back and the reservation handling is not too good

Amazing, flavorful food. Every bite has purpose at this place. Kind staff even when it’s full! And that’s it’s full because the vibes are so cozy and warm, the food is delicious and the staff is kind. I’ve been coming for a decade, but it still feels like day one?

Honestly such a great find. We turned up without a reservation on an extremely busy Friday night, and the restaurant accommodated us.

The service was excellent all evening, and the food was delicious.

Je suis venu pour souper d’occasion d’ un anniversaire, j'ai payé ma facture et j'ai mis 8% en pourboire. Que je regrette j aurai du mettre 0.

La serveuse est venue me demander pourquoi je n'avais mis que 8% il y avait un problème.j'ai dit non car je ne voulais pas cassé l'ambiance le jour de l'anniversaire,

Tout de suite après le gérant est venu en courant aussi que je qualifierai de culotter, assoiffé et surtout non professional, me disant qu'il faut mettre 15% de tips c'est obligatoire et on me le répètent deux fois sa ma tellement choqué son comportants que je suis resté bouche bée.

Je ne voulais pas rentrer dans le débat avec lui pour ne pas casser l'ambiance encore une fois.

Monsieur le propriétaire, je vous informe que les pourboires n'ont jamais été obligatoire au Québec comme tu la annoncer, mais il sont apprécié heureusement que le ministère des droits des consommateurs excise pour confirmer mes propos.donc le problème c'est que le service que j'ai eu été très médiocre, je me suis installé tout seul, j’ai deviné qu’il faut scanner le QR code pour avoir le menu, aucune explication reçu.absence de serveur dans la salle 20min pour en voir un, afin de pouvoir demander du sel, on m'a servi 3 diffèrent serveurs Avec zéro sourire absence total du costume service, le poulet grillé pas bon avec un arrière goût, et sans oublier que j’ai reçu la facture en main nue sans classeur, même le couple installé à côté de nous on eu le meme avis sur l’absence du service client dans votre restaurant.

Since long time I haven't been to such nice Lebanese restaurant that has both authentic food and aesthetics.

We reserved a table for two 4 days in advance. Arrived at a rather large, empty restaurant but for two other diners. We asked to be seated at a random table at the side of the room but were advised that all such 4 person tables were reserved for 4's. The greeter said our table was reserved for us in the middle of the room. We were then seated at a wobbly table with passages on both sides so narrow that people were brushing us as they went by. Though they later asked us if we wanted to move, we didn't feel like shuffling again. They then blamed us for not moving! We then watched other parties of two enter and take up any tables they seemed to want and even switch from place to place at will. We left after appetizers with the mood of our night spoiled. Never to return again. Food was average. So many better options in Montreal.

Très bon restaurant du moyen-orient. Bon rapport qualité-prix et belle ambiance. Service à améliorer, nous n’avons même pas eu le droit à 2h à notre table, pas eu le temps de finir, qu’on s’est fait « kické-out » de la table sans avertissement au préalable en nous disant que d’autres attendaient depuis 30min…très ordinaire comme expérience. Je recommande quand même malgré cela.

Delicious middle eastern food with reasonable prices. The atmosphere with quite loud but it didn't bother me, as that was what i would expect from a middle eastern restaurant! Definitely recommend.

La nourriture est très bonne, bien préparée et les portions généreuses.
Le service est gentil et efficace. C’est la quatrième fois que je viens et je ne suis jamais déçue. Les prix sont très corrects.
Je prends toujours le baba gannouj en entrée et le kefta a la sauce grenade tahini et c’est un régal à chaque fois il y a une vraie constance niveau saveurs.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un restaurant vide et peu de temps après, il était rempli de monde. Il est donc conseillé d’appeler pour réserver. Si vous aimez la nourriture du Moyen-Orient, c’est délicieux! Les Mezzés sont savoureux et plein de saveurs. J’ai goûté le Hindbé avec ses feuilles de pissenlit sautées, oignons caramélisés et mélasse de grenade. Un vrai délice! Que vous soyez végétarien ou que vous aimiez la viande, chaque plat saura satisfaire vos envies.

Food & prices were excellent. Ambiance was quite good as well. The service was good as well but we ask to sit on terasse (without knowing that there is a 2hr limit) so we kind of felt that we were a bit "on the clock". I would go back but no "terasse" this time around

That was the first time that I tasted the middle East foods, the plats are nice, but it really took long time for waiting all the plats, finally we had to cancel one.

Genuine home-cooked tasting Lebanese food. Highly highly recommend. Be sure to get the full suite of meza to start, the lamb as a main and to end of with the cheese dessert and a Turkish coffee!

Great food. Service was attentive. It was my first time there. The waited patiently explained clearly and in détails how the menu functioned.
The 2 import beer were nice to the palette.
Average approximately$20 per person apart from drinks and you have a nice meal. Make it $25 per person and youll be fully satisfied.

A little more attention coukd be given to cleaning the "sticky" table tops. I asked and they immediatelypassed a rag.

This is a great resto. The service is efficient
but the food is spectacular with a vast array of spices and nuts and oils. We tried about a third of the menu, the standouts were the beef tartar, the babba ghannoush, and the lamb shank. The wine list and beers are nice. Decor is home feeling and trendy. A must try.

Ate there yesterday for the very first time and it has officially been added to my list of top Montreal restaurants. From the incredible service, to the authentic food that practically melts in your mouth, I could not have been more impressed.

Well decorated restaurant with a small terrace and a homey vibe. They have a very flavourful twist on lebanese classics. The babaghanoush was finger licking good (the grenadine seeds gives it an Armenian twist) and easy to taste with the generous portion of pita bread, and the fattouche salad was well seasoned and refreshing. We also tried the salmon, which was cooked to perfection with a thin layer of fenugreek? On top for added flavour. The kefta with cherry sauce was also a must. The staff was very friendly. The Chateau Ksara white wine paired well with our choices, and the variety of dishes and flavors helped emphasize the richness and complexity of this beautiful wine. I'd go back again.

Service was quick and efficient and the host managed to get us a table even when i realized i had the wrong reservation date! We ll be back again and again

I like the atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our fattoush fresh well balanced dressing and the left Karaz was delicious. They offered us the dessert and tea as a complement just.bcoz we did not like much the raw kebbeh (was not bad, though I've tasted better).

Better book before you go. Lamb shank was really good. Grilled chicken was just ok. Humous, Muhamara and Baba Ganouj were all good.

Me and my friend shared both our dishes (they gave plates to share). We had lamb shanks with rice and yoghurt (~$22) and kofta with sour cherry sauce (~20). The portions were huge! We were more than done midway. I loved the kofta, beautiful flavours in the cherry sauce and the meat was tendered to perfection. The kofta was served with smoked wheat pita which has the texture of crispy nachos, really compliments the meal. The dish also comes with a side of rice. The lamb shanks was also good but the yoghurt was overwhelming for me and after couple of bites, I didn't feel like having more. If you're not big about the taste of Greek yoghurt, or sour yoghurt or just milk in general, I'd strongly advice against choosing this dish. I liked the flavour of anar (pomegranate) in the dish and wish there was more of that.

We also ordered desert (halwa) and I didn't like it that much. I just want to say though that I didn't like it simply because of my personal taste. The dessert was extremely sweet and chewy, glazed with more gooey sweet syrup. I didn't finish it because the entire concept of this dessert was a bit off for me. You might like it if you like the taste and texture of bubble gum.

The food I have tried was amazing. We have ordered Makanek beef sausages, Batata potatoes and Samke Harrar white fish. My kid loved the sausages, they were very well marinated, fish was very good with all the toppings and nuts. I would definitely recommend this place. Very cute inside and has a small patio outside.

I wanted to love Kazamaza as it’s been on my list for a while and the reviews seemed very good! But unfortunately the food was average — I’ve had much better fattoush, hummus, meat and even pita at other Lebanese/middle eastern restaurants in Montreal for the same price. The Lebanese red wine we ordered wasn’t great either:/ We we’re also told we couldn’t sit at either of the 2 free tables on the terrace because they had already been booked apparently. This was disappointing considering there was no way of knowing that we had to call to reserve tables outdoors despite booking online via their website and having no option to choose terrace. Overall, this wouldn’t have been terrible but when the bill came at the end, we realized that they had charged us for 2 plates that we ordered but they never brought! We honestly forgot we ordered them and didn’t even realize until the bill came charging us for them! Not great for a resto to forget to serve us 2 entire plates! As someone who really appreciates middle eastern cuisine, I would spend my money elsewhere next time.

I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food tasted so good, we especially liked Muhamara appetizer. The lamb was perfectly cooked. Kafta Karaz couldn’t be better. The service was also perfect. Totally recommended!

Foods good. Asked specifically for a table outside because we are uncomfortable with being inside and they took no blame in admitting they made a mistake. If you reserve make sure to double check.

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the city. Don't miss the fattet mawzat, it's delicious. All the mezzes are beautiful and made with love. Nice ambiance and the service is always pleasant and attentive.

Wow quelle agréable surprise. Commande uber eats pour essayer de nouvelles saveurs et on a pas été decus! On s est pris une variété de plats car on voulait gouter à tout et tout était excellent avec plein de gouts nouveaux. Les portions étaient par ailleurs généreuses. Je l ai de suite recommandé à mes amis. J apprécie particuliérement surtout que malheureusement depuis le début de la pandémie beaucoup de restaurants ont soit perdu en qualité soit en quantité. Alors un gros bravo!

Worst. Customer Service. Ever
My non muslim friends decided to invite me over to have Ramadan dinner, they were really thrilled at the idea of sharing this unique moment. However the entire experience turnt out to be a really shitshow from end to end:
- They get yelled at for having booked for 8 people when we were 8 in total, 2 persons could not make it.
- They got served after customers who didnt came before them, with no explanation whatesover
- The waiter was tensed and not friendly - I understand that he was busy
But what a terrible experience for my non muslim friends - I feel ashamed
Best part: After the terrible customer service experience, we decided to leave no tip and it is the first time we got yelled at for not leaving tip, we didnt want to argue back, but the whole thing was already pathetic.
First and last time in this restaurant! I feel extremly sorry for my friends who really wanted to surprised me and share good times.what a disaster it was!

There was one waiter for the entire restaurant. We've been there before and the food was really good, but this time the Muhammara was very dry, the chicken was also dry, the hummus' texture was runny and the waiter was not friendly, he was serving us in an aggressive manner.

Sans doute là ma plus belle découverte à date en 2019. C'était la première fois de ma vie que je goûtais à de la vraie cuisine libanaise. Oubliez les chaînes rapides qui vous servent des falafels etc. Ici c'est de l'authentique et du dépaysement. Et c'est vraiment très bon. Ils offrent aussi plusieurs vins d'importation privée et introuvables ailleurs. Bref, merci pour la découverte.

Nourriture absolument excellente mais le service laisse malheureusement à désirer; on est froidement reçus à l'entrée puis les plats nous sont servis sans soucis de respecter minimalement l'ordre de service. Ainsi, un plat principal est apporté alors que l'on commence à peine l'entrée puis un autre jusqu'à encombrer totalement la minuscule table devant nous.

We were a group of 18 and the whole dinner experience was excellent. The service was rapid and the waiter was super kind. We shared the mezze and every dish was delicious. Will come back!

KazaMaza is my go to for good & tasty food in my neighborhood for a great price. The service is good, the menu has full of delicious options and the interior decor is cozy. Love their flavorful meals and can't get enough of their "Jarret d'agneau".

1- serveur "crane raser" zero service a la clientèle pas de bonjour, arrogant, commentaire mal placer, soupir pas nécessaire apres chaque choix (je tiens a preciser quon a commander ma femme et moi juste nous deux 4 entrées differentes, 2plats principaux et 15%tips malgre le service tres médiocre
2- bouffe gout pas pire la verite mais on a eu mal au coeur toute la nuit surement manque de fraicheur
3- seul point positive endroit agreable mais difficile de apprécié avec un tel service mediocre dommage

One of the worse restaurant service I have ever been to. The server spilled a soft drink on me and reacted very unprofessional, he seemed lost and not trained enough for serving.
Secondly, I waited 40 minutes to get the bill while staff were busy stacking chairs. If I was not in the hospitality industry and had no appreciation to the hard work that goes into the business, it would be a good opportunity to dine and dash.
Gave this place 3 chances with every time having issues, thus will not be returning.

The best levantine cuisine in Montreal, beautiful space and lovely staff, try the FATTET MAKDOUS and the KAFTA KARAZ or the JARET D'AGNEAU, amazing quality taste. They have a very wide selection of wine from the Mediterranean region and especially the Lebanese wine selection. A must visit restaurant for sure.

Mon date avait l'habitude d'aller à cet endroit et il le classes comme parfait. Moi j'ai trouvé la place décevante, pas d'ambiance, pas chaleureux, restaurant sombre et archaïque mais je penses que c'est ca leur concept. Jai juste prix un désert et c'était la baklava (5$) et jai recu 3 surper hyper petits morceaux. J'étais étonné car le rapport quantité/prix était illogique, alors je me suis dis que sûrement ça goûte bon.etc. Échec, la baklava était sec et dur probablement acheter dans une épicerie.honnêtement, j'étais déçu et le service etait médiocre.serveur non présentable. Ca reste une expérience personnelle.
