Kettlemans Bagel

Had breakfast there 4 days in a row. Possibly the best bagels ever and I am originally from NY.

Really bad bagel not soft at all the dough is so hard bought a pack of 6 bagel for almost 10$ not worth it

J'ai pris le "Poulet, bacon et fromage fondu". Le fromage était même pas fondu, alors que c'est le nom du bagel. Aussi, le bagel était froid. Un peu ironique. Le goût était quand même pas pire et c'est frais, mais considérant le prix, je ne pense pas que ça vaut la peine. Si vous voulez vraiment que votre fromage soit fondue, alors précisez-le à la caisse parce qu'apparement ça à pas l'air d'être claire.

Kettlemans Bagel is a gem! Just imagine a world where bagels are the ultimate sandwich! A world where your wildest imagination can be put in a delicious fresh bagel. Kettlemans is that magical place.

I absolutely love bagels so was really excited to give this place a try, especially since I’ve heard from friends in Ottawa that this is THE place. The bagels were good - I ordered the Kettlemans special but was generally disappointed with the lack of toppings for an $11 sandwich (I got the thinnest slice of smoked salmon, the bagel was basically tomato on cream cheese). My friend enjoyed the Philly cheese sandwich. Purchased a container of dairy free cream cheese, although I’m still not sure how much it cost me - it was ok but wasn’t anything crazy. The bagel itself was good, but I still think our local bagels are better (hard to break into a market like Montreal bagels, it’s quite political here in MTL lol). Overall, nice location and I like the fact they’re open 24/7, so I imagine it would be a good place to pop in after an event at the Bell Centre.

A relatively cool concept to have around a 24h bagel shop given that we don’t have this around the city. However, their dough is not my favourite.
I tried numerous of their bagels and different spreads and here’s my opinion:
- The dough is rather dry and compact which gets a bit tough to swallow after your second bite
- The “different” flavours in bagels were not the best as they either tasted like a plain bagel or nothing.
- The spreads were nicely diversified and fresh which complimented well.

However, I will most likely not come back unless their freshness improves

Unfortunately, I was short a bagel from my dozen. It could be due to the fact that the staff were more interested in conversing with each other.

Ouf très déçu du service! J'ai commandé deux beagles dog. Après 20 minutes d'attente, toujours pas reçu ma commande je suis allé au comptoir et on me dit qu'il n'en restait plus, remboursement fait et next McDo. Quelle perte de temps.première et dernière fois!

Not good, service just awful - cashier unfriendly and could not explain anything in any language, bagel guy at oven burned most bagels, sandwich boring, bagels nowhere near good - expensive, not worth it

Bagles we’re fresh and honestly very good, service was phenomenal and will definitely go back.

Why is there an issue with having excellent food in Montreal? A lot of restaurants in this city do not respect human beings anymore and have the nerve to give them bad food in reciprocation for money.just like this Kettlemans Bagel downtown. I ordered this turkey bagel sandwich and supposedly I had the option to a variety of grilling level. My bagel was freaking cold. My boyfriend felt my disappointment and he decided to heat it in the oven. Waste of time! There's so much lettuce to hide the unfresh disgusting turkey slices and microwaved bacon. Tomato slices somewhat became like a puree place. On my way to throw this trashy sandwich to the garbage, my disbelieving boyfriend had to taste it. He called it, infected. Only thing digestible is the spudnicks chips and pure leaf ice tea. Shocker! What the heck is going in this city? Where are the amazing places at? This is suppose to be a new place. I am waiting for my Ubereats refund as we speak.

Good bagels and quick service. The cinnamon roll stole the show!
We enjoyed the fact it is open 24/7, made it convenient for a very early morning roadtrip breakfast.

Very over priced for a very very slow service and a generic bagel. You are better off at small mom and pop shops.

The service is bad. The cashiers seem annoyed when you show up to order something. In addition to the lousy service, a simple bagel with just cream cheese took them 10+ minutes to make, this happened on two separate occasions when i was the only customer in the store. The bagels are decent, but you can find better elsewhere where the service isn’t horrendously slow and you aren’t treated as a nuisance for ordering something.

Personnelle lent.jai attendus presque 15 minute pour un begal dejeuner au final froid! Et laisser sure la table 3 minute quant jetais le seul a attendre et que la personnes a la caisses ne fait rien.je ne revien plus là-bas!

L'option de donner un 0 n'était pas là. Aucun service, aucune qualité, overprice, ne parle pas français, prend 45 minutes pour recevoir quelque chose sec et pas mangeable. Il devrait faire faillite d'ici quelques mois. Je ne recommande pas à personne l'expérience Kettleman's bagel

Déçu mais l'endroit a beaucoup de potentiel. Je trouve que la quantité de la garniture ainsi que la qualité des bagels pourrait être grandement amélioré. Qualité fast-food mais au gros prix. Toutefois j'ai apprécié que la personne à la caisse fasse des efforts pour parler français

Honestly, the idea is great. There’s a wide selection of bagels and cream cheeses to accompany them. I am personally not a fan of the bagels. They’re quite doughy, and the flavour doesn’t shine through. The cream cheese are nice! The taste of whatever flavour chosen is prominent. The price is fair as well.
