Kinatex Sports Physio Downtown

I came to Kinatex Downtown for a couple different treatments (physiothreapy and massotherapy). I was greeting kindly at the reception and they were very helpful in helping me find the right service for my injury. The physiotherapists we super kind and understanding. They seemed to care not only about my physical health but also my mental health which helped me open up more about my condition. I went back as well for a massage which was fantastic.
Overall, if you are looking for a clinic who cares about you as a person and not your wallet this is the place to go!

Eric Massey has helped, heal my wrist. Something that the health care failed miserably after being misdiagnosed, Not only did he talk me off the ledge he took the time to explain to me why, & how this happened. Helping me take accountability, Walked me through every step. Corrected me with such patience. His delivery was only exceeded by his kindness. I travel 1 hour to see him. He’s worth every minute. Forever grateful, try him if your in pain and looking for a compassionate healer

I was impressed by Eric Massey who did everything to find the weak point on my shoulder where I have a calcification.
But there are no machines i.e. Shockwave or any other to ease up the patient or make a fast treatment…

Mauvaises expérience, j'ai pourtant essayer plusieurs praticiens mais ils sont la pour faire de l argent et non pour être professionnelle. Le gars ma directement proposé un rdv avec chirurgien car blessure au genou, j'ai refusé, plus tard il m'explique que les RDV de physio sont pas forcement pertinent. C est honteux

This is the second time in two years that I have been well treated by Minh Tam Tran at the Kinatex clinic in downtown Montreal for physiotherapy after suffering torn rotator cuff tendons each time. The first time, in late 2020, the tear was complete but only involved one of the 4 tendons comprising the rotator cuff. That was the good news; the ‘bad’—that it would take a lot of time and perseverance to regain full strength and functional use of my arm again-was not so bad after all. I started working with Minh-Tam Tran on an exercise program designed to progressively strengthen the other muscles around the torn tendon and by April-May 2021 my right arm was 100% + back to normal! This time, however, after I dislocated my left shoulder by falling on a patch of ice this winter in March 2022, I now have three completely torn (and irreparable) tendons in my left arm, and non-invasive arthroscopic surgery to re-attach the tendons was therefore not an option. After an initial scan and an MRI at the hospital, the prognosis was uncertain, and Minh was concerned enough to refer me to Dr. Heron at the Kinatex clinic for further evaluation. With multiple tears, some of them chronic, and lots of muscular atrophy, Dr Heron still felt that, with a long-term program of physiotherapy over many more months (not weeks) concentrating on training and repurposing the deltoid muscle, I should optimistically be able to regain quite a lot of normal of usage in the arm. I am continuing to work with Minh in tandem with Dr. Heron, and after three months of steady physiotherapy with Minh, both he and Dr. Heron have noticed real progress. I have all the confidence in Minh’s patient, intuitive and sure guidance that I had the first time around. He knows what needs to be done; proceeds cautiously but steadily with the more advanced exercises to increase muscular strength; and pushes me to go that extra inch that he knows I can do. I have every expectation for an excellent recovery. Many thanks to all of you at Kinatex.

Ming is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful always going above and beyond to listen and adjust plans for the best treatment. Whether it is utilizing diagrams or showing it first hand, his positive, informative, and professional energy make my sessions a delight and extremely beneficial! I highly recommend Kinatex, specifically Ming for your physio needs!

J'y suis allé à deux reprises, pour deux problèmes différents. À chaque fois, Jonathan (physiothérapeute propriétaire) m'a étonné par son approche, sa méthode et ses connaissances. J'avoue avoir été déçu plusieurs fois par d'autres physiothérapeutes, mais depuis que j'ai connu Jonathan, ma quête est terminé.

I have been doing all my treatments with Eric for over a year now. He is very professional, friendly and ethical. The girls at the front desk are always nice and helpful whenever I have questions.

I want to share my worst experience with staff. I went there with my baby. I am living alone with my baby in Montreal. I asked them to take care of my baby just for 5 10 min when i was doing treatment. During my treatment, my baby got injure on her face. It was really hard time for me. No doubt, after they called clinics and hospitals. But its useless.
