Ordered delivery of the shoyu vegetarian ramen and some gyozas. Everything was amazing, the ramen's portion size was generous and it didn't offer that greasy/heavy feeling that some ramens do. OH AND THE EGG. Soooo good, I ordered two extra ones and they ere amazing!

I'd definitely order from them again!

The food is “ok”. The billing is suspicious. We ordered the 2 ramen bols that comes with veggie gyoza and 2 drinks.price on the menu was 39.99$. We ordered 2 vegetarian ramen and we asked what are the drinking options.we chose lemonade. When we got the bill.they charged us 1$ extra per ramen (2$) and 2$ per limonade (4$). A total of 6$ extra. Reason? Vegetarian bols is an extra 1$ and limonade is extra 2$ each.that isn’t indicated on the menu and the waitress never mentioned it! The bill came back 55$ whereas should’ve been around 45-46$… when I mentioned it to the waitress.she didn’t bother to change the price she said that’s how it is.

Is better to call before going, since this particular location closes earlier that the time advertised on internet.

Went there around noon, the place was not so busy. The staff were super friendly, free water, big portion.
Took the spicy beef ramen and it was good (really spicy) would definitely return when back in Montreal.

I have visited this place several times (one of my pregnancy time favorite) and loved it always. Their flavors are amazing! Friendly staff, quick service and nice clean and bright interior. They have 3 vegetarian ramens on their menu. I highly recommend the garlic one and another one that has miso in it. The new addition, coconut curry ramen was also delicious. Their jalapeño paste (as an add on) really adds a kick to the broth! I always go for thick noodles.
Their matcha cheesecake is also yummy, although a bit pricey.

Ramen soup is not too flavorful. Fried chicken is so so. There’s not much meat and veggie in the bowl.
01 January 2023 22:05
Oil is flavor. Don't forget that, but there is still a limit because here, you'll get a solid 5mm of oil on your soup and honestly that's a bit much. The atmosphere is solid, music in the background, you can talk without screaming and the servers are quick and friendly. I took the original porc ramen, 15$, thick noodles. Now here's the disappointing part, the soup was good, porc a bit chewy but the noodles were definitely not thick, they were regular at best, not even comparable to real ramen noodle size. That's the docked star rating. If they get a real thick noodle in there, it's a solid 4.2 stars for me.

I hate all the ramens here (classic, shoyu, miso.), they all taste bland and disgusting, except the spicy garlic ramen. It's so tasty, fragrant and HOT. This is the only ramen place I've been to where the spicy ramen is actually spicy. Today, I drank all the broth at the end, bowl was completely empty.

My order: is the spicy garlic ramen with extra porc (or beef when it's available), extra scallion and extra egg (since it doesn't come with an egg).

Amazing fresh food. The staff is very nice & knowledgeable. Been here twice and I’ve always experienced the best customer service.

Overall great experience. Great service. We did the combo original pork ramen with sake. You can either do beer or sake. What a great idea for a combo! Way to sell it. Takoyaki for starters did not disappoint. Server would check on us a good amount of times and made sure we were well taken care of. Good was quick but did not lack quality whatsoever. That broth and that seasoned egg was on point. Flavors united well all together. Street parking and close to bus stops. Right across the mall as well.

The noodles felt like instant ramen, the egg was too cooked and the broth was room temperature

i coud have goten better ramen in a Vietnamese restaurant

Don't know why but the Montreal Linton
Is way less quality than their Toronto branch.

I miss my days I spent in okkaido but I can't get my ramen/sushi fix anywhere in mtl.
01 November 2022 2:36
Maybe there is a ramen I am not aware of that has uncooked noodles is creamy that somewhere people like. If you are not expecting that then I would go elsewhere. Many seem to like it so maybe it’s us. It is cheap-ish and quick ish at least.

The service is on point and the place is clean. As for the food, it lacks the depth in flavor that I expect of my ramen broth. I also think that the noodles could be better. The ajitama, though, is very tasty even if if doesnt have the dark color because of the soy sauce.

Amazing food. I ordered a take out order and the food was neatly packed and well preserved. Taste was outstanding. I have tried the miso soup in chicken and the octopus balls. All were tremendous and well done. Staff was quick, nice and efficient. Will come back for the dine in experience.

Food was good but this specific location’s service was lacking. The one on bishop has better staff
01 June 2022 9:21
They will cheerfully salute you in Japanese when you go in.

The miso pork was excellent, deep flavor broth and good noodles. I ordered the thick noodles, and they had a very good bite to it.

Kimchi wad less spicy than I expected, but I am used to very spicy food.

The Karage had very crispy coating and the chicken was juicy and tender.

They didn't had Ramune thou?
Will come back for sure

Ramen is alright, please be patient with them as they are short-staffed, but it was worth the wait.
24 April 2022 20:21
Good ramen and pretty good service, prices are around 20$/bowl which seems decent for what you get
22 January 2022 10:24
Only worth your time when they do the fried chicken ramen. Otherwise meat is undercooked and garbage for a ton of money. Honestly if you know anything about spices and cooking, you can make something of near equal quality for like 2 dollars. Skip this one.

2nd time there! Very delicious, Sapporo beer on tap, everything came piping hot.accommodating staff -very appreciated. Thank you for a great time!
22 November 2021 0:25
The first time I go to this location and I think that the location of 1202 Union Ave has better taste and the amount offered in the meat was very little compared to the other one.
12 November 2021 2:49
Took a Karaage Chicken Ramen miso and it was really not good. The fried chicken that goes in the broth is just.a bad concept as it get soaky and loses it's fried texture (obviously). Will give them another try but with something more authentic.
19 October 2021 17:44
Karage chicken way too greasy and salty. Honestly i ate because i was very hungry but won’t come back as my stomach feels bad already: -/

As for the other locations, Kinton ramen delivers amazing food and friendly service all the time. Although I did get a cold service from this place, it’s not a regular thing to happen. I really recommend their ramen to any ramen-lover such as myself. What I love most is their ramen specials that change monthly which allows the clients to always come back to try something new. The only drawback is that compared to other decent ramen spots in the city, Kinton is pricier while delivering smaller portions, but it’s definitely worth trying. This branch features indoors and outdoor sitting on ste-catherine street.

One of my favourite Ramen restaurants.
Their broth is very tasty and has rich flavours.
I also like their karaage chicken and Gyoza.
For soup lovers, this is a must try restaurant especially during winter time.
02 August 2021 14:57
Wow.went there 2 days ago and cant get the flavor out off my brain! The hot kaarage is out off this world.thanks again.wow! I went on bishop!
31 July 2021 17:49
Disappointing.

The ramen was "good" at best, but my experienced was soured for the following reason:

If you still plan to buy from here, don't bother with the deserts as they are smaller than your palm for 6.50$ which doesn't even taste like the ingredients added, just tastes like Philadelphia with some food coloring. Feels like I was scammed out of my money.
26 July 2021 11:30
Would appreciate more vegetables and toppings.its really heavy on the noodles - though i suppose it is called kinton ramen. Not a health wise choice unless they up the veg - if you order I'd ask for extra.
06 July 2021 16:31
C'est bon, mais comme le reste des Kinton, c'est un peu trop cher et les ramens ne sont pas les meilleurs qu'on peut avoir à Montréal.

The initial greeting is nice, the menus are on the table, cute presentation. It's a cozy ramen place.
The tofu entre was good. The ramen was ok.

I absolutely love this place. I have quickly become a regular and the staff who know me are always so kind and warm! I plan to be a patron here for many years to come! #kintonbowler

It was only an okay experience for me. Came just before closing for a quick date. I ordered the February special and she ordered the spicy special (names escape me right now). The first striking thing you notice is the size of the portion, which I found to be small. The size isn't that important if the price tag was proportional, but this place charges $3-5 more per bowl than other ramen places in the same neighborhood. In terms of taste, mine was good with plenty of flavor, but hers was below average on its preparation. The black mushrooms were really undercooked, there were far too many onions that were pretty raw, making the meal quite pungent and temperature of the broth was not hot enough for our taste.

Overall, it wasn't an offensive experience, but there are better places nearby. Ichifuku has a tastier menu, kinka has nicer decor and if you want to travel a bit more, yokato yokabai has far better food.

Wow what a place. Very small restaurant, but charming. I had the basic ramen pork belly bowl and it was esquisite and the price is very decent. I definitely will be coming back again soon. You can tell it's an authentic Japanese owned place. The service is very fast and efficient. We ordered and had our food served in almost no time at all. Very nice place to have a lunch on a workday if you're downtown.

I went there few days ago and I was really impressed with this place. The place is very clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly!
I ordered the gyoza, which comes with a super tasty sauce, and the special ramen.
I’ll definitely come back!
01 February 2019 22:30
Consistent service that is professional and efficient. Sat at the bar on a weekend night to see the cooks/chefs prepare. Ramen was hot and consistent with the other branches.

Easiest one probably to find parking and a few steps from Atwater metro.

We were very pleasantly surprised! We stumbled upon this restaurant while we were in the neighbourhood and boy are we glad we gave them a try! Customer service was awesome, all 5 people on staff were attentive and friendly, food was absolutely delicious! We took our order to go and even an hour later, it was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great interior design and quick service. The Ramen was great and chicken karrage is always a winner.
12 January 2019 23:45
The appetizers (karaage and okonomyaki) were delicious, but I had the special tonkotsu ramen and it wasn’t great - broth too fishy and the pork was oversalty. Not the best ramen I’ve eaten in Montreal.
