KSF Montréal - LaSalle - SURF, SUP, KAYAK

I did the group beginner surf lesson and it was great. Hugo, the teacher, was skilled and he was helpful to all students. He was very nice and enthusiastic.
I defenitely recommend doing a surf lesson at KSF. It was a great experience!

I had an amazing experience for my first River surfing class at * Vague a Guy *! I had the pleasure to be thought by Simon (congrats for him finishing first in his competition of surf yesterday!) who was super friendly, positive and super helpful and really want to ensure a good experience for our group! It was just amazing and felt safe. I would recommend it 100%! Even the season is almost over I can’t wait to come back next summer! I’m feeling more badass than yesterday! Thanks -ana-

Cour d’initiation au SUP avec Marilou qui était super, apprendre des techniques de base est très recommandée, belle expérience et le vent avait donné un challenge de plus!

I had a great experience during my 3-hour introduction to surf course at the “Vague à Guy” location on Labour Day. I had the pleasure of being taught by Felix who was knowledgeable and kept his cool despite the large crowd on the busiest day of the summer. The session is comprehensive and conveniently provides rental equipment for everything you might need. I feel well prepared to revisit “Vague à Guy” and practice on my own. I would definitely recommend the experience to anyone as long as they are comfortable in water with a current.

Super expérience avec le cours d'introduction au surf.

Notre instructeur, Francis, nous a mis en confiance dès les premiers instants du cours. Il a su s'adapter au niveau d'expérience de chacun des participants et de leur progression durant l'activité. Sa passion pour le surf est communicative et il est un fin pédagogue.

Les employés sont souriants, joviales et enthousiastes de répondre à nos questions. La sécurité est une priorité pour l'entreprise.

Personnellement, un de mes coups de coeur de l'été 2023. Je recommande et en redemande.

Took and enjoyed the introductory session with my girl. The instructor was very knowledgeable and walked us through every single steps very clearly. We had some ocean surfing experiences but apparently river surfing has different level of difficulty. Highly recommend to anyone who is curiously about how surfing works in the land-locked territory.

Nous avons suivi un cours de paddle avec Marilou. Elle était très professionnelle et compétente. Étant peu à l’aise dans l’eau, elle a su respecter mes craintes, mais tout en me poussant gentiment à sortir de ma zone de confort. Cela m’a permis de prendre confiance et d’avoir du plaisir durant l’activité! Merci!:)

I love the size of the class (only 4 ppl). I got a lot of rides in (about ten) and had so much fun! Well worth it!

L'initiation au Kayak d'eau-vive 1 et 2 étaient une excellent introduction au sport. Notre instructeur Hugo nous as démontré la base pour se débrouiller avec confiance dans l'eau calme. Prochaine étape, les rapides!

This was one of the worse training programs I have ever seen. The teacher seemed quite young to have enough experience. He did not even mention the basic skills for moving around with the board in the water. When I asked him, he mentioned those but with little grudge (maybe because I interrupted his chatting with some girls on the boards). He just gave me only a couple of minutes to practice! I did those actions a few times when he told me I cannot come with him to the surf site! I did what he told me and besides this is supposed to be a beginner class. I did some other water sport classes at different schools with real teachers, so I was just surprised and annoyed. He did not even allow to use the board in calm water for a little more (more than two and half hours left). No refund was offered either. Very bad experience I definitely would not suggest this place to anyone. This was a total waste of money and time.

I attended the introductory course on Habitat 67 with Yuan. It was a great experience and vibe. Yuan takes the time to explain, instill confidence, adapt, and analyze to provide personalized coaching. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to understand the spot and quickly felt comfortable.

Very friendly staff and the equipment for SUP is only $25 an hour and $35 for two. We went on a Wednesday and there wasn’t a lot of people so it was a good day to learn since it was my first time.

Really great experience learning to kayak on the river. The staff is kind, fun, patient and helpful.
