Kum Mon Restaurant

This is our family's old-time favorite restaurant. The food and service are great! Our favorites are stuffed tofu, fried rice, fried porkchops in salt and pepper, chow mien fried noodles, and the fish fillet. The owner and server are very courteous. Will definitely recommend this old restaurant.

3.4 star overall? I just had this restaurant’s general tao and it’s EASILY one of the best in the city. 5 star taste and quality. Lightly battered + crispy, generous on the chicken portion, tasty classic general tao sauce and very filling. Would order again in a heartbeat

The vege spring rolls are great though

But the house fried rice was especially lacking in taste and the meat taste dry stale.

The soup was tasteless as well. The shrimp lobster sauce had nice big shrimps in it but unfortunately the taste wasn't good. Not like how it used to be either.

Doubtful of coming back. Its been a good couple years since the 90s.

Payez le prix d un restaurant 5 étoiles pour même pas une étoile, 20 minutes d attente, j étais tout seul comme client dans le restaurant! Tout est sans saveur et sans bon gout, et le service est tout simplement risible! Je déconseille fortement, allez dépenser votre argent durement gagné ailleurs! Ils ne remercie jamais même pour un très bon pourboire, le personnel fait vraiment pitié, ils préfère s occuper des livreur de uber eat ou doordash que leurs clients sur place

This was truly the worst dining experience of my life. Each dish that was brought out was worse than the last. The soup was barely palatable, the shrimp tasted rancid, and the fried rice was mixed with what was clearly chicken from old leftovers. 20 mins after eating my partner and I have the worst stomach aches. There are no redeeming qualities about this place. Even the service was bad. The waiter made sure to tell us "don't forget to tip" and checked our bill to make sure we did. DO NOT GO!

Will give -100stars if possible. Horrible Service, the waiter keep forcing to order the Meal for 10 even tho we don’t need to eat a lot. He has bad attitude. He kept saying that the food we’re ordering is not enough for us. When we tried separate orders they trying to scam us, By serving us a small portion of soup. I suggest not to go.

The waiter is disrespectful. He gets angry when we did not order the combo food for 10 people. They would serve less to make you realize that food ordered is not enough. Horrible customer service.

Ordered from here many times over the years (even got the tag in uber eats for discount after x ammount of orders.) Last night ordered on uber as I do, they messed up BOTH my orders. My first dish of crispy noodles came without noodles (!) And the vermicelli Singapore had NO chicken and 1 lonesome shrimp on top of being completelly bland noodles. I don't know if they changed cook or what but the quality went down so much compared to before sadly. Two stars because they did use to be good but not anymore.

When I placed my order I was told it would be at least an hour cause they were very busy, I called an hour and a half later to be told very busy but order was on the way. It took 2 hours 30 minutes til the order showed up. We got an apology from the driver but nothing from the restaurant itself. On top of that the food was room temperature. We won’t be ordering from here again

I just order from there for the first time omg that food was absolutely disgusting please do not waist your money so many better places out there 70$ down the garbage McDonald’s here I come

I tried ordering for delivery at 1: 00pm on a Saturday. (They deliver from 11: 30-22: 00 as stated on their menu). The person picked up in a rude way, saying "we do not have any drivers, call later, goodbye. " Amazing customer service: D

My family and I have been going here for decades. They met 3 generations of my immediate family and my extended family. Food is always soooo good, swift service and very warm staff who remembers all of us, all the time. I don’t understand why there are some lower reviews because this restaurant is hands-down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Montreal.

Jai essayé beaucoup de resto chinois à Montréal et les environs. Je vous recommande fortement les calamars frit et le porc.

Big quantities, tasty food, fast delivery and reasonable prices. I highly recommend trying the crispy duck

I like this place because of the chinese cuisine. It has been servicing the community for years. The service is great, the guys are awesome. I get excellent service. I would normally call-in my order and pick-up.

Our favorite restaurant, been coming here for years. Food always taste great and portions are big. Try their fried wonton, ginger lobster, fried noodles with beef and mixed veggies. I could go on and on!
