Des sushis excellents aux saveurs exceptionnelles et un service irréprochable! Une merveilleuse soirée!

I was extremely underwhelmed with the entire experience. Upon stumbling onto this restaurant, my friend and I were looking forward to enjoying Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, we were far from pleased. First, the service was jarring. No smiles, dropped our menus, didn’t pick it up, dropped water on the floor, attempted to grab the receipt from my hand after we had already paid. Second, the food was cold and was not worth the prize. I will say the decor was decent. But, we will definitely not be coming back!

If you're looking for excellent sushi in old Montreal, look no further. Food tasted fresh and flavourful. Atmosphere is very fancy. Great sit down for a date.

Nous avons partagé un repas avec une amie dans ce magnifique restaurant, les plats sont excellents bien que onéreux pour la quantitée, je suppose que l'on paie la qualitée, quand on rentredans ce restaurant ont sent bien que l'on est dans un endroit chic, chose à laquelle on ne s'attendait pas du tout quand on y est allé, le service est impeccable, mais on ne se sent pas vraiment à l'aise, il y à peu d'espace entre les tables, ont aurait presque pu manger avec le couple de la table juste à côté, dans l'ensemble ça reste un bel endroit avec une très bonne cuisine et un excellent service

Tout était parfait: l'accueil, le cadre, l'ambiance et
surtout le service et le repas. Aller au restaurant est un plaisir et le mot prend tout son sens lorsqu'on va au Kyo Bar.

Bon plats, excellent service. Fortement recommendé. Nous avons pris la table d'hôte et nous avons aimé chacun des plats que nous avons commandé. C'était delicieux

Our waitress Megan was awesome. Food was amazing. It can get expensive, especially for a family but worth it. I wish I could afford to eat here more often.

Park inside the Palais des Congres just across the street, it was about 14$ Saturday

Beautiful restaurant, very well decorated on the inside and the ambient music was nice. Great menu with a variety of choices. We ordered several items and all but one were fantastic. The one disappointment was the chicken and green onion skewers are missing the onions. We had one small onion piece in the whole batch and it was delicious, which only made us more sad that they were mostly missing from the dish. The potato croquettes were our favorites, the curry sauce was delightful.

Our main gripe is with the service. We were sat at 5: 05 and we didn't leave until almost 7pm, solely because our server disappeared after the second course and we saw absolutely no one for a solid 45 minutes. Finally another waitress noticed that we had basically been abandoned and took over. We made sure our tip for the meal went to HER and not the guy who we originally started out with. My husband watched all night as he remained absorbed in the tables full of only women, while completely ignoring my husband and I.

Really unprofessional behavior and put on a damper on what otherwise was a very good tasting meal.

Simply amazing food, try the wagyu dumplings you won’t be disappointed, and ever cut of fish was incredibly fresh, friendly and fast service as well!

Decent meal in old Montreal some dishes not hot enough some cold dishes warmish. Still enjoyed our meal.

Jess was an awesome waiter. Treated us with tremendous card and hospitality. The sake bombs were the best.

Excellent experience at Kyo. Wagyu Gyoza are a must try. Sushi was some of the best I've had in Canada. Great atmosphere and music.

I truly enjoyed my experience at this beautiful restaurant in the Old-Port. While it's true that this restaurant is a bit on the pricier side, every dollar spent was justified by the exquisite flavors and impeccable service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive.
Our main highlight of the evening was the "saké/madarine" sorbet dessert. The sorbet dessert was a revelation, we never tasted something like this before. It was a delightful conclusion to our meal, leaving us craving for more. I definitely recommend trying this place as a date night or with friends.

Delicious sushi. Everything is so fresh and the fish melts in your mouth. Highly recommended! A little pricey but worth it.

Absolutely sublime! Fine dining extends beyond just the palate, it encompasses the entire experience, and this place truly understands that. From entry to exit, the warm and inviting ambiance they've cultivated is palpable. It was not only an evening to cherish but surprisingly affordable too. And kudos for their impeccable vegan and veggie options. Deserving of no less than two Michelin stars!

Excellent rest for coctails, wines. Beers and the sushi were different but delicious. Recc to get early as it gets full.

This is my second time at Kyo. I went there a few years back and really enjoyed my experience. Yesterday was somewhat disappointing. Some plates are good (shrimp, sushi) but others are too fried or drenched in sauce. I had the octopus cakes, and I barely tasted the octopus. The sushi is fresh but I felt the rolls/portions were downsized. Ambiance was fine until a large group of men showed up. They were very festive and obnoxiously loud. The crowd is a mix of tourists, Gen Z and boomers.

Went there on a date and it was a farily pleasant experience. Had been recommended the place by a few people but had never tried it. We ordered almost every item on the menu and the food was actually very good. Did not disappoint on that end. My issue was that it was very noisy and the cafeteria style tables were not private enough. The vibe and atmosphere were ok. The service was quick and friendly.

Food was disappointing. We got the udon, karaage bento, beef bento, tuna tataki, sashimi bowl.

The udo and beef were really salty. Karaage was disappointingly smeared with too much sauce and no longer crunchy. The tataki was barely seared, though its flavors were good. Sashimi was good.

Overall lacked the finesse you tend to associate with Japanese cuisine and a lot of the flavors were too heavyhanded.
