Malheureusement, c'est plus possible d'aller à La Baie centre ville. Il n'y a plus d'espaces de stationnement dans cette ville rendue dangereuse par une mauvaise gestion des déplacements

You can always find great stuff here whether it's for the home or clothing. Usually pick up bargains in the sales they have a lot of the time too. Can't be bad!

The last department store remaining in downtown Montreal. HBC is a throwback to times when things were simpler and people were more tolerant.

The store remains vital and does a good job of offering a variety of clothing options for men and women. A Polo Ralph Lauren store is housed in the Men's department.

Located within the McGill Metro and part of the underground city. It's the best option for stylish men who dislike Costco's stretch clothing or the haberdashery prices in men's fashion boutiques.

My cold cut sandwhich was great!
My partner got the Porchetta and it was ok.
Apparently the pork tasted old then later on he had stomach pains.

Cannolis were good.

Évitez les livraisons à domicile pour les petits colis. Le service de livraison sélectionné par The Bay, CANPAR, n’est pas fiable et a des pratiques plus que douteuses.
Et The Bay s’en lave les mains. Je viens de perdre $100 avec un colis qui ne m’a pas été livré, et Canpar et The Bay s’en fichent royal.
Gros manque de considération pour leurs clients.

Merci Hudson Bay de répondre 8 mois après. Mais c’est un peu tard. Surtout qu’à l’époque je vous ai contacté, j’ai réussi à vous parler, pas qu’une fois, pourtant mon problème n’a été ni pris au sérieux ni réglé.

Depuis j’ai annulé ma carte fidélité, n’ai rien fait avec les points restants (ça c’est cadeau!:) ) et arrêté d’acheter chez vous.

Très mauvais service que ça soit en magasin ou de la part des agents qui occupent de leurs lignes téléphoniques!

Don't go the 7th floor. The man working there is very impolite. He doesn't want to check the price for you unless you're sure to buy the item.

I love this store. But some staffs are so rude to the customers. I had some bad and good experience there.

Après avoir passé commande en ligne, J'ai été prélevée d'un montant supérieur à celui de ma commande (surtout sachant que j'avais utilisé un bon d'achat, qui désormais semble disparu). Après des tentatives par courriels, j'ai tenté à plusieurs reprise d'appeler le service client. Après quelques temps d'attente, quelqu'un décroche mais ne parle jamais. J'entendais seulement des bruits de fond pendant de longues minutes. Je trouve scandaleux d'avoir tant de mal à joindre un service client. Cela ne donne pas envie de revenir y faire ses achats!

Bought furniture, paid in full for a delivery 4 to 5 weeks later. The day prior to delivery they cancel and state it will be another 6 weeks. Then they cancel a second time the day before second delivery and ask for another 5 weeks. Gross incompetence. Don't waste your time and money.

Lots of selection and good displays, but never quite enough people on floor, you'll have to wait a while if you need help with something around the store, but I guess that's part of having a store that feels so massive.

Aucune aide de la part de la Baie: attente au téléphone avec l’agent plus de 18min à chaque appel fait, envoie Purolator sans m’envoyer les informations à mettre sur le package de retour (arrivé à 9: 40 au lieu de « entre 10h et 15h, j’avais averti que j’avais un rdv de dentiste la matinée même et j’ai du le repousser!)
C’est dommage qu’une compagnie de renom ne soit pas capable de coordonner les choses pour que ça soit plus facile à la clientèle surtout quand on ne peut pas se déplacer!

Service courtois à la caisse, sur le plancher aussi, pas des petits chariots pour faciliter le magasinage, c'est malcommode.

Malgré mon problème de la commande que j'ai passée en ligne dans ce magasin, j'ai voulu donner les 5 étoiles grâce à Lia qui travaille pour ce magasin et qui a fait tout ce qu'elle a pu faire pour régler nos problèmes. Elle était vraiment sympathique et attentive pour qu'elle fasse son maximum pour aider ses clients. Je voudrais lui remercier sincèrement.

En dépit de cela, je veux partager quelques astuces avec vous pour éviter les problèmes que j'ai subis.

1. Ne passez pas la commande en ligne dans l'aide des associés aléatoires ici, le processus est très compliqué. Vous devrez subir l'attente de plusieurs jours pour même recevoir les produits. Si vous n'arrivez pas à trouver ce que vous cherchez, soyez patients et allez aux autres magasins.

2. Faites vraiment attention au rabais. Consultez-les attentivement avec les associés pour vous assurer du rabais saisonnier. Puis, vous devez vous assurer de la communication entre eux (surtout, assurez-vous de trouver le caissier qui a été tenu au courant des informations plus précises) pour éviter d'acheter les produits en rabais en payant les prix originaux par leur erreur.

C’est le pire service que j’ai jamais vu dans toute ma vie! Faites attention des commandes en ligne! Après que j’ai passé ma commande en ligne et j’étais prélevé du montant.ma commande à été annuler sans aucun motif sérieux! J’ai été prélevé du montant et je l’ai pas reçu encore après plus de deux semaine!
Leur servie à la clientèle font toute choses pour faire fin à l’appel téléphonique sans aucun respect!
Leur agent ont tous des versions différentes l’un (e) de l’autre sur la politique et les services de labaie!
C’est honteux.

Called and asked them to find a shoe size and i spent 25 minutes listening to their conversations as i was waiting for the lady that was helping me to find my shoes.i was on this call for like 25 minutes.too long.

Pour un endroit qui vend des marques de luxe, un service abominable à tous les étages. Gros manque de personnel et se répercute sur les clients. 3 heures de line up pour un paiement (à différentes caisses). Tu veux un renseignement? Bonne chance!

Commande en ligne. Je commande des souliers en ligne, la marchandise est disponible sur le site, mais, après l'achat, on me dit que ce n'est plus disponible. Très mauvaise gestion de l'inventaire, perte de temps.

Terrible customer service. All the counters where I needed to go were empty but whenever I tried to get help somewhere else they told me I was in the wrong place. Took me over an hour just to do a simple return and buy a new pair of shoes.

Huge old fashioned department store. Not many left, great place to spend a couple of hours. Can buy almost anything there. Clean and actually has staff to help you

They have an enormous amout of brands and everything goes on sale on Black Friday and Boxing Day.

J' ai commandé des espadrilles en ligne chez la Baie, mais n' ayant pas le modèle demandé, ils m' envoient une paire de leurs choix.
J' ai dû leur envoyer plusieurs e mails pour recevoir mon étiquette de retour et n' ayant pas de nouvelles d' eux, j' ai dû contacter en direct un membre de leur personnel.et maintenant, 35 kilometres à faire pour trouver un purolatar pour retourner ce colis.

My experience with the sales person in the tiger of Sweden area was terrible! Omid was rude, degrading and lazy. Get rid of that guy!

I went shopping to the location on the Taschereau BLVD. Shopped there, but one of the products wasnt scanning so the lady at the cash DIDNT SELL ME THE PRODUCT AT ALL. I have never seen anything like this. The employee needs urgent retraining. I had no time but this is not how the oldest company in Canada should do business. The creator of Hudson is not happy. Retrain your employee, she is damaging the great reputation of the Bay.

Best place to get your winter shoes and parkas. A wide set of choice among the most popular labels. Friendly staff and really helpful tips from their behalf. Many rabate and offers on site even more than the online bay offers.

I spent 30 minutes to try to find someone to help me. I went through two floors and there was no employee.
I lost my time and didn't fund what I want.
Take your money elsewhere.

At the store the service is generally good. Not much staff in the clothing section though. The online service I have to say is just awful. I ordered and item and four times got the wrong flavor food item. The fifth time, they sent it to the wrong customer. I recently received another order with an expired food item and the gift with purchase had a cream that was so fragrant, the entire box of items was smelling perfume.following up on things, get so much hassles and they had the audacity to ask me to pay shipping fees to return expired item. Hassle upon hassle.

Attention: ils te font donner tes donnés pour une supposée carte de points et finalement il s'agit d'une carte de crédit. Pleins de harnaqueurs dans la Baie. Je n'y mets plus mes pieds.

Un peu désolant de voir comment le magasin a "fondu". Mais le service reste excellent

Mauvaise expérience avec le service chez La baie qui m'a vendu une carte de crédit et je ne peux pas avoir accès à mon compte. La Baie semble pas très aidant pour avoir une information sur l'état de mon compte.
Néo financial ne donne pas de service par téléphone seulement par courriel et cela peut prendre une semaine pour obtenir une réponse.

On m'a envoyé le mauvais article et on m'exige 8$ pour le retourner par la poste. Si on tente d'appeler le service à la clientèle, ça sonne pendant 10 minutes puis le son coupe. Nombre d'employés en magasin insuffisant.

Des étagères vides, des ventes d'un seul jour, des articles annoncés à rabais qui ne le sont pas. Exaspérant!

I just bought 250$ of bras at this store and I just noticed that it's fi al sale! It was sooooo long to try them on so I figured I'd return whatever doesn't fit with the tags.and they were not even on sale!

Commande en ligne: Une horreur, impossible de joindre le service client après 20 minutes d'attente au bout du fil. Frais de retour par la poste payant, alors que j'ai déjà payé les frais d'envoie 8$! Mais qui fait ça encore aujourd'hui?

Service à la clientèle de pauvre qualité d'après le personnel il faut un cellulaire pour avoir une nouvelle carte de crédit, Personne pour vous aider. Téléphone au service à la clientèle sonne sans aucun message et surtout pas de réponse?

Boutique impeccable. On y trouve tout. J'adore la qualité des articles et les super ventes, assez fréquentes, sont très intéressantes.

My fave store. This branch is massive, and they always run great sales. NEVER pay full price for pots and pans! Great clothing options and when they liquidations they're great!

Went in looking for a mattress protector. Essentially found that La Baie is just a massive dying boutique/upscale department store, and not the best option if you're looking for fair prices. I spoke to a CSR for directions to the mattress protectors, he said they're in various places on the housing section level which made it really inconvenient to compare prices. In the end I asked him to show me the three cheapest options and they were $65+ which didn't seem right so I declined the options. I went to a linen and draperie shop close by, they had the exact same brand and size of mattress protector for $25.

It has most of good brands, but regular prices is too expensive.sometimes on promotion you can find good things with good prices. This is one of huge stors and it takes lots of time if you want search in it.its better to look at their website before. Tough return policy!

They really need to improve their service at the jewelry section. I received the worst service ever. It wasn't even busy and the man was so tired and disrespectful. I can't evaluate them with 0 stars but they really deserve it.

I purchased a dining table on November 28th and expected to receive it on December 28th. They did not deliver it and even not contacted me. After calling them 100 times I send them a formal notice with 10 days period to bring the table or refund me. They did not even respect that. I brought my case to Quebec's consumer's right, they did not even answer that. In the end, I called the store and they told me I can pick it up on February 10th! About 45 days after the promised delivery date. Still their customer service did not know that and they contacted me on February 17th that they don't have it and can refund me while I had the table at my home. In some of my calls to the customer service, the cut the line while I was talking. Worst experience buying furniture. Never recommend it.

Very disappointed to have my La Baie credit card request rejected more than once now, especially with the credit score I have and the fact that I have a hefty bill when I do my shopping from there. I feel it’s not only fair but also an abuse!

I will never buy anything from this store!

Their customer service is horrible. They don’t answer their phones, they put you on hold forever. You never receive an email back when you contact them electronically about your purchase. Returns are impossible when you can’t reach a customer service agent. No worth shopping with them.

I ordered a sofa and it asked me to wait the whole day for the delivery. After waiting the whole day, I did not get anything.they did not call me and told me what was going on? They did not tell me when I should get my delivery! So far I did not get anything. I will never buy anything from it

Sure, this store has a lot of stuff. But it's extremely badly organized, and absolutely not friendly towards new customers. If you want to buy something there, expect to look for a cash register for 20 minutes in an overly heated building, then spend the same amount of time trying to find your way out. Good luck.

Department store over several floors. There's social distancing and cleaning involved. You can find it all at the bay. The 6th floor has products that are on extra sale. Strongly recommend checking them out.

Heavily picked over, limited remaining stock in kitchenwares. I was shopping for kitchenwares. Other departments may be okay.

Bad experience today. No sales associates around. Very few cashiers open. Long waiting time to pay. Very, very poor customer service

21 décembre le centre est plutôt calme malgré Noel qui arrive, covid oblige. Pourtant on a passé plus de temps à chercher une caisse où payer que trouver les item recherchés.après deux caisses laissées à l'abandon par les employés on fini par en trouver une. L'employée ne dit même pas bonjour ne regarde même pas ses clients et.surprise arrivée à la maison au moment d'emballer les cadeaux, on se rend compte qu'elle a oublié d'enlever l'antivol! Service lamentable pour ce magasin qui se veut le plus grand de la ville

During these challenging times, visiting La Baie was a charm. I felt very safe, people seems to respect the social distance and customer service reps are helpful.

Could not make a purchase. Long lines with cashiers going on breaks and generally hanging around without helping customers. Most frustrating experience. Had to leave without making a purchase.

Amazing store downtown. Great selection of EVERYTHING! All the brands I love are here!

Huge selection of articles, especially perfumes and cosmetics. Good customer service with polite approach. The area is well designed and has many different styles according to selected preferences. Very good promotions l, especially during Christmas and new years. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Bought some boots during Black Friday weekend that began to fall apart after just over a month. At a retail price of $200 (I paid a bit less after sale) I expected better, the store shifted the blame to me and how I wear my boots offering at most %20 off. These aren't something I should need to replace every season if properly cared for.

UPDATE:
Spoke to a different manager who was much more understanding of my situation and offered a gift card of equal value. Not the ideal resolution but much better than the "this is the best we can do" spiel the other manager gave.

Beware of false advertising online. I don't expect product misrepresentation like this in a developed country yet here it is. I bought a 4 piece bed set but only 3 of the 4 items arrived. After amlsot 3 hours of emails and phone calls with customer service, they refuse to send me the missing item and to really show their power over their customers, they only offered a 15% partial reimbursement of $5.88 which is pathetic to say the least. 1 of 4 missing items equals 25%. Somebody doesn't know how to do math. This will be the last time I put my dollars there.

I’m never usually disappointed With la Baie. They’ve always got some sort of a sale or promotion going on, and any time I need help, it’s always easy to find someone.they never seem to be short staffed even during the holidays. I never have trouble doing returns or exchanges.

Un service de livraison absolument lamentable. Aucun rappel après plusieurs promesses et l assurance d être livrée avant 10h30. Ils se renvoient la balle et sont tout à fait irrespectueux de leur clientèle. Pourtant la livraison est facturée 80$!
Pour finir, je la reçois à 14h30 et.c est pas la bonne table!
J’entends avoir des nouvelles rapidement.

Toujours la place pour trouver une chemise chic en toute vitesse et à
prix abordable.
J'y prend la majorité de mes chemises depuis toujours et j'ai souvent des prix vraiment bas pour des marques que j'aime comme Tommy pour 50$ la chemise habillée par exemple.

Belle place dans le temps de noël pour faire du #shopping car il y a des spéciaux très intéressant et contraire à ce qu'on pense il y a des choix pour toutes les budgets. Chaque étage c'est un département alors préparez-vous pour vous balader et profiter des offres!
