The baie is a seasonal classic for me and my family. We usually go see the wonderful Christmas decorations at the baie downtown. But this year we went to Fairview, and I was happy to see all the decorations and we purchased a few things.

Returned my items within an hour of purchasing them but the cashier failed to give me my money back. Had the receipt saying the transaction went through, also showed her my credit card statement showing the payment.

She insisted that the transaction had not gone through, and that the pending payment was only temporary.

However, expectedly, the payment DID go through…

Tried calling them on the phone but no one picked up. Not setting a foot in there once I get my money back. Worst service ever.

Update:
Visited the store 2 weeks ago and to show the same cashier that the transaction went through, along with the receipts. She brought her manager to take a look (she was still insisting the transaction is probably pending when it had gone through weeks ago.). Manager told me that the receipt would be sent to audit and I would get a reply within 5-10 business days. It has been more than 10 business days and I still have no reply. I emailed the manager as well, but of course she did not reply. It has been roughly 3 weeks now that La baie Pointe Claire failed to return my money back. Assuming this is not on purpose, failing to return a clients' money within that timeframe is clear sign of incompetency.

Nice spot m. There’s often great discount’s and the customer service is okay. Overall a nice place.

Sadly I was unable to find anything I was looking for almost. I could not even take advantage of the specials for the day.

Good for perfumes. Otherwise, it's too expensive. They are located in a popular mall, and many stores have the majority of the same selection as The Bay does for much cheaper prices.

A very outdated store, how they will attract customers with such gloomy displays, low lighting, lack of merchandise, huge unused space, it is a haunted house.

The Bay at Fairview has gone downhill

Sales ladies were not so willing to help, a little snooty if I can say that. However when I came up a sales woman at the online returns, yes she was snooty, but she gave me good service quand meme. Merci

In the last 3 years i bought like 5 or 6 pairs of shoes here. All of them are very uncomfortable. But because mostly i took them on special. I couldn't return.
My most recent disappointing purchase was the shoes from the picture $130 They got ripped immediately.only after i put them on twice max 3 times.from home to office and back home. Thank god I was able to return them.

The entrances are dirty and full of litter. The stairs and sidewalks are cracked and broken. This is not the Bay I remember.

Nice place to enjoy shopping, look around for new arrivals. Expensive, but it's worth to buy from here. When products are in sale price, love to take a look &buy.

Lots of fashionable choices, well set up and presented but 9 times out 10 I don't find my size. They sell Bali bras, but never my size. They don't even have 10 wide footware. I'm disappointed.

La propreté dans la salle d'essayage des femmes laisse à désirer. Il y avait énormément de poussière comme si cela faisait des mois que le ménage n'avait pas été fait. J'ai été très déçu de voir un magasin de cette réputation négligé le ménage à ce point.

A great store all around. The Fairview branch has allot of floor space & spread over three floor

The bay at Fairview has a great shopping ambiance. Staff are very nice and helpful. Always have positive experience there.

Not the best The Bay in Montreal but still a good one. 3 floors high with ladies, perfumes and make up on the ground floor, men and shoes on the second and children and home on the third. They offer gift registry services on the 3rd floor as well but their outdoor selection is small compared to other locations. This The Bay no longer has mattress and electronics.

If will buy branded items and perfumes, then only in this store, excellent quality of service and the best discounts on any product

The store is losing concept, it's not focusing on certain middle standard, decoration very old, you don't feel yourself in a good quality dept store may be more in a bazaar

It’s the baie, not much more to say then that. The one at Fairview is a little more annoying now since you can only enter/exit from the entrance on the first floor due to the Covid regulations. Not their fault though.

Found great bargains. Sorry the Bay will be closing this store once everything has sold out. Used to be my go-to Bay location.

Would have loved to shop, but was just returning articles had bought on- line. Everything looked good and staff that I dealt with were very helpful and courteous

A well positioned store in the West Island within Fairview shopping center. It offers a huge selection of men's and women's fashion, along with cosmetics. Very good customer service as well and one could say better than most of the roster of the Bay stores. Recommend the store for most of your shopping needs, except appliances and televisions which they are not stocked.

I have a bad experience with the baie online.
I order the dress before around 15 days until today I didn’t recived it and when I call customer service no one help me. Also I have a bad experience with the customer service.

It’s the bay needs an update with some technology. Too big of a store and it’s lacking the simplicity and ease of shopping. Just a mess to shop for ehat you want

An extra 25% on sale prices today and tomorrow. Extremely great prices. Boots for next year, coats, clothing. Olsen has 30% extra on sale prices.

Most amazing staffing; especially in the women's section. I love Louise. I love shopping there because it covers all name brands and products. The sales are phenomenal at the end of season. The only criticism would be to update the bathrooms.

The Bay is our version of Macy's. Let's keep shopping there and keep it in business. Great store great deals nice staff. What more do you want? Retail is tough now let's keep the Bay going.

Last decent department store selling average stuff at average prices. Service is ok. Selection is decent. Some good sales on a regular basis.

Love this clothes store. The only thing people need to understand is? You need money to go here. As it's all brand name products. Plus they give points now! Every 2000 gives you 10$. So if you think you spend lots of money. Then it's worth it.

I think of this one as the forgotten Bay store because it's in need of a huge facelift and it shows at every turn

Part of Fairview shopping centre in Pointe Claire. A very well stocked department store that has a lot of fashion and most things, except appliances. Recommend the place. It has two floors.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of Shora, the Lancôme counter staff who assisted me with my purchases. When I paid, I specifically asked her name, because, It all lay in the little things she did for me during the whole course of my shopping experience. Left the store with full bag of goodies, empty pockets and happy face. Thank you Shora!

I always find it comforting to walk into this store, it's well lit, well designed, while keeping it classic. The perfume counters are my favourite, and I like exploring all the levels of clothing and accessories. As with any store, some clerks are nice, others not so much.

The last time i was there (la baie, fairview mall), i saw 2 different brand models of oven toasters and we talked about the discounts available etc.with the staff. After about 30 mins of taking a decision on which one to buy we got to know that there was no stock of both models.what a waste of time. Anyways we than had no choice and walked over to best buy and got the model we wanted and also a better price.

It is like other bay hudson stores among city. Different brands and items are reachable but you should wait for promotions.

I bought damaged furniture and they didn't want to accept the return.the service was very rude to me.

Thanks to my mom and grand-mother, always loved the Bay! I have been a long time, regular, loyal customer! Wait for items to be on sale, always good prices and a great selection! I always find what i'm looking for! Hope they will always stay open!

Terrible layout, cant shop baby section with kid in stroller, aisles way too tight, and way too messy of a department

Did not really have what we were looking for. Sales staff were polite and provided answers to our questions.

It's one of the last department stores around. Appreciate it while it lasts since it'll be closed in a couple of years. Please, never ever buy anything full price. Just wait until the items go on sale. The Bay always has good sales. You just have to be updated on them. Why do the ladies at the cosmetics/perfume section always seem to be stuck up. I'm just asking for a cologne sample, not a free full bottle of cologne. That's what the samples are for.

Bad service, difficult to find what you're looking for. Lack of size. Seems to follow the path of Sears. Ended buying what I needed from Amazon.

Really great staff but weirdly humid store. Having shopped multiple departments at this location, I always get good service.

Good sales and clean store. Nice layout. Like other Bay stores could use a bit of an update with done if the way it looks. Also for returns they may say no at one cash and then be fine with it at another. Besides that, nice store to shop at. Their seasonal section, like Christmas decor, is always very nice.

Very bad saleslady third floor bras section there was no price for the slipper i aak her rhe price shw told me to look myself on my phone for the price. I never seen somebody like that im not goung nack

Fair amount of variety for suits and casual wear. I have been shopping here for a long time and it's always easy to speak with the representatives that work on the floor. I do miss the streetwear selection that they had a few years back.
