On a loué le grand pin entre amis pour le mariage d'une amie, et dans la soirée On a trouvé des punaises de lit dans les chambres. Avant d'être Changé de chalet ça été long, service à clientèle pénible et médiocre.

Si vous aviez pensé à aller camper au Camping la Bannik à Ville-Marie Au Témiscamingue afin de profiter de l'excellent restaurant, je vous invite à oublier votre rêve.
Le restaurant a été fermé afin d'avoir un petit Bistro.
Avant, le restaurant était quand même grand, un bon choix de repas et de bons pains Bannik.
Maintenant, c'est seulement un petit bistro d'environ 20 places.
Ils en parlent pas vraiment sur leur page Facebook ou sur le site Internet. Ils disent juste qu'ils ont fait des rénovations.
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés après 1h00 de route, on n'a vu que c'était rénové et de dehors c'était beau. Lorsque nous sommes rentrés dans le restaurant, c'est là que nous avons vu que c'était rendu minuscule.
On demande de l'eau pour commencer, on nous dit que c'est seulement des bouteilles d'eau. Je demande si c'est gratuit et on me dit que non. On refuse poliment.
On regarde le menu et ce n'est plus ce que c'était avant.
On demande seulement des pains Bannik avec le beurre d'érable (C'était leur spécialité). Après 5 minutes de recherches, la serveuse nous dit qu'il y en a plus.
Lors de notre voyage en 2017, nous avions été déçu de l'état des blocs sanitaires. Nous demandons si nous pouvons aller se promener sur le site pour voir les terrains à savoir si nous pourrions revenir, on se fait dire qu'on doit payer les droits d'accès.
Pour toutes ces raisons, ce camping est barré pour nous
Cela faisait 6 ans que nous voulions retourner manger à ce restaurant, quelle déception!

Loved this park. Great sites, rental equipment to get out on the water, a good morning coffee, and local draft beer on tap.

I'm a business person who was taking a group of clients on this snowmobile excursion at my expense so I booked the whole resorts in Dec 2021 for a January 2022 weekend which they requested a deposit. I inquired further on this deposit re Covid and trails being groomed which they said not a problem as we can change the dates if the trails were not groomed which made me feel better so we proceeded. When our weekend I called ahead to advise that the Swisha Loop had NOT been groomed due to lack of snow which I was told the owner was out of Country and would contact me to re-schedule which she never did after several messages left in vain nor did they ever refund my $650 deposit so I would be very careful in booking this resort.

Même avec un séjour de courte durée, et malgré le fait que nous étions ici pour travailler. C’était une expérience que notre équipe n’est pas prêt a oubliée. Une place magnifique avec des propriétaires qui donnent leurs 110% pour les résidents de la place. Certains que je reviens pendant mes vacances.

Vous allez être bien servi et comme chalet. Ils sont magnifiques. Moi j'ai adoré mon séjour.

Très beau site au bord du lac Témiscamingue.
Cela fait deux fois que j'y séjourne en louant des chalets et je suis très satisfait.
Les châlet sont très propre et bien entretenus.

Un site enchanteur. Excellent service. Propreté impeccable. Des jeux, la plage, la piscine. Excellent repas au restaurant. Quel endroit merveilleuxpour une rencontre de famille.

Nous avons louer un chalet sur place. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans une région à découvrir. Nous avons pu profiter à fond du la. Endroit idéal pour décrocher.

Dinner was fabulous with gourmet delights, and a beautiful view with a float plane landing. This campground complex is quiet, clean and very well managed. Pool is great. Our trailer was nice, but we have booked a cabin for next year.

Super camping tranquille avec beaucoup d'arbre et d'ombre. Les terrains sont grand. La piscine est chauffé à une bonne température.

Le chalet Le Grand Pin est un endroit idéal pour des moments précieux en famille. Pour Noël cette année on a loué 2 jours. Tout était parfait et féerique. On a adoré les 2 spas à même le chalet. On saurait crut les gens riches et célèbre. On le recommande fortement et merci à vous tous pour ces beaux moments.

Superbe chalet avec spa. Très belle place. Paysage a coupé le souffle. Très bon restaurant sur place. Sentier de la forêt enchanté à 5 mins de marche. Grande plage. Expérience à revive.

Le Grand Pin: Hosts thought of every possible need including fully equipped kitchen; umbrellas in case of rain; playing cards for shut ins all in a pristine immaculately clean and beautiful facility. Grounds are well laid out and kept. Quality service and guest care are evident.

Grand terrain, beaucoup d'arbre, mi ensoleillé, tranquille, très propre, piscine creusé chauffé mais n'a pas de section pour les enfants, prévoir les flottes. Douches des blocs sanitaires désagréables par les jets qui pincent la peau et très humides en soirée puisque ne semble pas avoir de ventilation.

Restaurant: très dispendieux pour la qualité des plats, je n'ai pas mangé de la haute gastronomie, bavette de boeuf trop cuite et goûtait le brûlé, poulet trop sec et pas beaucoup de sauce, tartare n'était pas froid, les enfants n'ont pas eu le dessert compris dans le menu enfant. Bon service et vue sur le lac incroyable.

Have been there dozens of times for meals and stayed several times over the years. The campgrounds look quite popular and spaciousness abounds. Excellent hidden oasis with easy international flights into Rouyn-Noranda, Que making it available to anyone in the world. There is a National Historic Park honoring the First Nations of the Area, a world class golf course, and you are on Lake Temiskaming which means you could bring your yacht or sail boat from Ottawa too.

I stayed at “Le Grand Pin” with friends and family this weekend and I oh, so recommend it! Gorgeous cottage, sleeps 15! 2 hot tubs! Two fridges! The place was immaculate. Merci La Bannik for a wonderful time. We shall return! Dan S.

C'est vraiment une belle place. Beau terrain de camping, beau chalets, beau restaurant et c'est très très propre!

For a start, I'm not in the business to slam small independent business and this report does focus on what was good and what wasn't. My hope is the the areas that need to be addressed are addressed for future guests. We won't be back but its more because there is no shortage of options and we like variety. So here go's:

Booked one of the small luxury chalets at La Bannik for just under a week and here are our thoughts:
Cottage, albeit a tad small was very nice and clean, Everything worked and your own personal hot tub is awesome. Nice propane fireplace and heated floors was a nice reception when we got back from a day on the trails. Only negative was the size and lack of cooking abilities other than a microwave and toaster oven. They do offer a cottage with a full kitchen but its 2 bedrooms and a loft. Better for a family and of course, more expensive.
The food (Dinner) - We opted for the snowmobile pkg which included a "full breakfast" and dinner. Found out that over 1/2 the items on the menu had an up-charge over the package offerings. Valentines dinner was a pre-fix with most of the regular menu missing. This offering has a substantial up-charge which we were forced to take. This was not a problem based on the menu as all the offerings looked excellent! Upon ordering we were informed that the appetizer (Shrimp Cocktail) was sold out (7: 30pm) and they would sub in a salad (Chef or Caesar). No discount. The salad was iceburg lettuce and a few grape tomatoes. The rest of the meal was totally under whelming, my wife's steak was tough and covered, smothered in some kind of sauce. My duck confit was spot on but its the type of thing thats made off-site. Chef liked to use a sweetend balsamic glaze over everything, yukk. We ate there again the following night, same experience. We both opted for the upcharged filet mignon; it was sirloin steak. Not tenderloin. 3rd night we thought. " no more upcharges" lets order something safe. We both ordered the chicken supreme, again horrible, left most of it behind. Way overcooked and again, smothered in some kind of sauce and the ever present sweet glaze. Our final nights we ate grocery store food we bough in town.
The food (Breakfast) - The full breakfast, delivered daily to you chalet consisted of 1 sausage on a english muffin and a similar item on a bagel. A huge muffin, some fruit cups or if you're lucky a couple of yoghurt. This is all delivered the afternoon before your breakfast, they put it in the fridge. Hmmm, 5 star and I have to mic a day old breakfast sammy and make my own coffee. Wow!
The wine - the only alcohol we purchased was from their wine list in the resto. Some good selections to be had with fair pricing.
The service - overall the people were extremely nice, even during checkout when I claimed by distaste for the food, ALL of the food. I even ordered a plate of fries and I couldn't eat them. They had so much seasoning on them it was disgusting.

Therefore, if I did go again, i'd ensure to rent the cottage w/kitchen. I'm a very accomplished home cook and its not an issue. Overall nice facility, cleanliness, and service. Just a horrendous restaurant. Some of the worst food I ever had.

Celebrated 2021 in a very clean cozy cabin. The food at the restaurant was fabulous at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly.

Great spot for a romantic getaway.
The cabins are very comfortable and private. Highly recommended for couples that can leave the kids at home.

Camping propre et très bien organisé. Nous avons vraiment aimé les sentiers pédestres et le site de Parc Canada à proximité et la facilité pour y accéder.

Le seul irritant a été notre voisin, un saisonnier extrêmement bruyant. Pendant 2 heures le samedi après midi, il a lavé son bateau avec une machine à pression à gaz qui faisait un bruit infernal et quand il a enfin terminé, nous a imposé sa musique forte! De plus, leur petit chien est venu déposer ses cadeaux près de notre terrain sans qu'il ne se sente en rien en concerné. Comme si c'était à nous de ramasser

La direction du camping ne semble pas se préoccuper de ce genre de chose.

Vraiment dommage de se faire gâcher un séjour ainsi!

Jadore cet endroit. Chalet parfait pour etre en gang ou en famille. Le spa, espace feu, piscine sont parfait. Mon coup de coeur est le brunch du dimanche et la magnifique terasse du restaurant! Je recommande foetement! Merci a votre équipe exemplaire!

Piscine chauffée, accès à la plage, restaurant, bloc sanitaire très propre. Plusieurs terrains pourraient avoir une belle vue sur le Lac, mais les abres cachent la vue. Le Wifi n'est pas fonctionnel.

Les roulottes prêt a camper sont vraiment full équipé, il ne reste que la nourriture a fournir (mais les déjeuners sont fourni). Et c'est quand même assez tranquille pour un si grand camping

Il y as tous ce qu'ont attend d'un camping, plage, piscine, resto, sentier, le Fort et la forêt enchanter.

Nous eu un excellent repas dans ce magnifique restaurant avec une belle vue au bord du lac Témiscamingue. De plus, le service était impeccable! Je recommande cet endroit pour un bon souper dans la région, et sûrement pour l'hébergement aussi que nous n'avons pas eu la chance d'essayer. Aussi, recommandation de goûter à leur soupe à l'oignon gratinée avec un fromage local!

Belle place avec une atmosphere de détente. Belle vue du patio, excellent site de camping et restaurant.

Camping très calme, aucun bruit désagréable, seulement nous et la nature. Les terrains sont très espacer et c'est pour cette raison qu'on revient presque a chaque année!
Restaurant La bannik nous on offert un bon souper, il manquait un peu d'assaisonnement a mon gout, mais mon conjoint a bien aimé! (C'est le seul point négatif)
Nous y retourneront!

Chalet LE CHENE, très calme, propre avec une vue sur lac et un paysage flamboyant. A retourner et à conseiller pour un séjour relaxant.

Great resort for winter snowmobiling - complete with restaurant to serve breakfast or dinners and place to have a massage.

Lieu de prédilection pour les amateurs de plein air. Très bon restaurant. Vous saluerez Maryse de ma part.

Didn’t care for the food but that’s a preference. The stay was great. The staff were great. Extremely clean. Clearly the owners take a lot of pride. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner. Food was great. Best Nachos I've ever had at a restaurant. The view overlooking the lake down below the cliff is beautiful. Great place to go for a walk before or after dinner.

Beautiful campground. The lots give the impression of being more private than some other campground. The lake is within walking distance and very pleasant to swim in for adults and kids. The washrooms were clean and we'll maintained. Unfortunately there was no longer any paddleboat rental and this had not been corrected on their website. Also the firewood was not being delivered anymore. The pool is clean and large but very deep starting at around 5' and going down to around 6', therefore not very young kids friendly. Overall it was a beautiful experience and I still highly recommend this campground to everyone.

Tout au top au niveau chalet. Le resto par contre est assez banal mais bon. Le petit déjeuner est le seul au monde où il n'y a pas de jus de fruits et où de nombreux supplements sont comptés. C'est tout à fait l'inverse de ce que l'on a autre part.

Nous avons loué le chalet pin rouge (3 adultes) un lit queen, un divan-lit. Chambre fermée. Avec spa bbq et divan-lit. Accès gratuit piscine. Confortable et tranquille. Déjeuner gratuit au restaurant. Emplacement pour feu. 357 $ taxes incluses. Un peu dispendieux mais bien. Serions restés un 2e soir si nous avions eu les moyens. Jus, café et produits de toilette. Peignoirs. Belle expérience dans l'ensemble. Cependant l'accès au spa est un peu périlleux pour une personne pas solide sur ses jambes. Ça prendrait un appui pour monter les marches.

Wow! It had everything for a successful family reunion. Like outside badminton and volleyball court, trampoline, swings, slide. Beautiful lake, fire pit, chairs.

Inside full kitchen, 2 fridge, a big dinning table, tv and we watch a montage of the family. It has a lot of bathrooms, the room were upstairs for more quietness et comfort.

Bannik made it a wonderful weekend and family reunion that I won't soon forget.

Déception cette année car plus de distribution de bois aux campeurs! C’est pourtant un service direct au client! Et vous aviez tellement eu une bonne idée de jouer une chanson de Johnny Cash lors de la dite distribution! Beaucoup de campeurs déçus comme nous de cette coupure! Beau séjour mais bcp moins que par les années passées! Pensez à réintroduire ce service SVP! À la prochaine!

Service was very poor and the hostess was rude - like we were an inconvenience to their empty restaurant at 1: 30 in the afternoon. Taste of food was decent.

Park was nice, service was good, left us alone to relax

The bad- poison ivy everywere, the hiking trails are not clean and over grown, rest food is really ezpensive

Over all would camp again

Superbe lieu de camping, bien organisé, employés courtois, sur le bord d'un des plus beaux lac de la province, avec piscine en plus, salle de jeu et terrain de jeux pour les enfants et un très bon restaurant accessible sur place.

The food was great and the view was amazing. We had specials of the day and both were great. The staff were lovely.

Fantastic meals and luxurious accommodation. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Groomed snowmobile trail to the door!
