Great service, fast delivery of the food. The waitress was excellent. The food is really good and don't forget to have a nice gelato.

Please note that I am the messenger and the person who picked up the pizza yesterday.

My friend always order a Margherita pizza with no basil since moving to St-Leonard in 2020.

She was very impressed the first few occasions but lately the quality has been in decline.

Yesterday was the worst one ever from La Bella Italiana plus the price has shot up to almost $20! Definitely not worth it!

The sauce and cheese was all dried up like the kind of pizza you get from one of those cheap pizza joints! I've attached a photo.

Was there a change in cooks or ownership?

She would give a "zero out of ten" on this pizza.

Des années de loyauté à manger à ce restaurant et aucun respect et politesse en retour. Aujourd’hui nous sommes allés pour chercher un repas pour emporter, nous n’avions pas mis le pied sur la terrasse que le propriétaire nous disait que le restaurant était entièrement réservé et que personne ni avait accès ni au restaurant ni a la section des jeux. Ce que nous avons fortement douté. Il n’a même pas pris le temps de voir ce que nous voulions avant de nous virer quasiment de son restaurant et ce devant certains de ses employés. Ce fut très malaisant, comme si il ne nous connaissait pas. Non seulement plus jamais nous allons y retourner mais si vous pensez y être respecté parce que vous êtes un fidèle client et bien vous risquez d’être déçu.

We were a big group of 13 people, but the service was pretty fast and the food delicious! Would definitely recommend

Plus dispendieux mais se justifie par le service à la hauteur.

We stayed in Vieux Montreal and were looking for a place to dine near the Botanical Gardens / Olympic Village and wanted to see a different side of Montreal on our first trip here. We came across this charming place. The pizzas were delicious, thin crust in a wood fire oven! The gnocchi poutine with braised lamb is a must try! The tiramisu and cheesecake in the little glass jars were a perfect sweet ending, though this place is a Gelateria and has a huge range of Gelatos in the entrance! Overall great experience and top notch service!

Super service! Que dire du risotto au crevettes avec sauce blanche super bon! Moi: saumon style sauce tomates avec aubergines olives noire, riz et petits légumes succulent! Je recommande

La pizza est bonne mais un peu brûlé, pour les ingrédients ils sont de bonne qualité en général, côté plats, j'aime bien leur gnocchi et leur tagliatelles

Un vrai restaurant Italien, de qualité avec un très bon service. Tashant, notre serveur était attentionné et intéressé à notre expérience au restaurant. Belle découverte pour moi. Mon conjoint connaissait déjà l’endroit et aime ce restaurant. Côté culinaire nous avons partagé un Aranchini et wow! C’était vraiment bon, habituellement je n’aime pas ce genre de plat!

A friend brought me here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The pizza I had was amazing and the sangria I had was perfect. This is a great place to come with a group of friends or a date. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

Habituellement je ne suis pas fan de resto italien.mais celui ci est un de mes préféré et on y vas plusieurs fois par années en famille ou en couple.

Their pizza is to die for! Very authentic Italian taste with fresh ingredients. I have yet to try their other meals since I only order take out pizza on Sundays but I am guessing the meals are excellent.

Excellente pizza four à bois. Les tortellinis étaient très bons aussi. Plusieurs choix de vin en bouteille, seulement un au verre par contre.

Service was dull.our waiter was bilingual (that’s always a plus). I had the gnocchi poutine.i dont think the gnocchi was fresh, it wasn’t as chewy.gravy was more on the salty side but the cheese and meat was delicious.
. A greasy mac and cheese.they could’ve been more generous with the cheese.
. And an amaretto sour: too sweet

Very good family restaurant. Food is not mind blowing but always consistent and good. The fries are excellent and the pizza was decent perhaps maybe required a bit more salt in the tomato sauce but all in all very good. The waiter was efficient and attentive and friendly. Will continue to frequent this establishment.

Simply amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere is amazing. 11/10 one of the best Italian restaurants in the east end. Time after time they never disappoint.

The staff at La Bella Italiana are fantastic, their standards in providing a wonderful dining experience are exceptional. The ambiance is beautiful, warm and accommodating. The cuisine is delicious authentic Italian, the fixed menu always provides the classics we know and love and the table d'hôte is always a creative inspiration. Keep up the great job guys!

The service was terrible. Our waiter had been wiping down tables and chairs before he took our orders. I have no idea if he washed his hands.
The waiters kept passing between our table and the next empty table instead of going on the other side. It was very disturbing and disrespectful. To make matters worst a pasta order had not arrived we had to remind the waiter which took 45 minutes or so to receive. The food is good but the service is unprofessional and low class.

What happened to this place! Been going there for years and recently went back for their wood oven pizza and it was thinner than a tortilla and bland, ridiculous! Barely any toppings on it either. Won't be going back.

Amazing pizza, from wood burning oven. Plus the dishes especially, for me the risotto, and gnocchi amazing, also had pastas there, excellent. The staff are curteous and polite. One if my favorite places.

Classy Taverna and friendly service. Had a take out pizza ($21) which was delicious but don't go if you're very hungry; their one size only medium pizza is OK for one person, but not two.

We had the filet mignon with spaghetti and mushrooms and also the all-dressed pizza. Amazing! Genuine Italian flavor! Bravissimo!

I've been to many Italian restaurants and nothing says more of authenticity then Bella Italiana, the calamari were so fresh and crispy, the pizza was like biting through clouds and what a storm of flavors in my mouth it was! To finish we had the cannolis A MUST and we were offered grappa by one of the owners i presume.
Chapeau to the team behind it all to make our beautiful week end a magical one.i will be back. Bravo ragazzi!

So glad we were lucky enough to get a table without reservation on Tuesday night.apparently rare. This dining experience was exactly what I was hoping for.a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with quality flavorful food served at a reasonable price. We started with the Mozzarella Fior di Latte (fresh generous slabs of tomato and cheese with balsamic oil and basil) and Calamari Fritti. The calamari is wonderfully seasoned, tender and again, generously portioned. Turns out there was good reason that as we looked around the restaurant it seemed almost everyone was eating pizza. The thin crust is spectacular.buttery soft texture with just the right amount of crunch. We had the Capricciosa and loved every bite. Dessert? Oh yeah! You absolutely cannot miss the Baci al Cioccalato. 7 pizza dough balls filled with a Nutella and cheese mixture then baked in the pizza oven and served warm.mind blowingly delicious! We added some hazelnut gelato to go along with it and were not disappointed that we did so. I'll be dreaming of this place long after I've returned to my home in Calgary. Wonderful service and overall experience from start to finish.
