La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar (Centre-ville)

It's a little warm inside, and the service is somewhat slow even when they're not busy. However the food quality is great, the menu is extensive, and the drinks are delicious with fresh fruit in them!

Not expecting to have a burger with grilled cheese as a bun on the first thing visiting Montreal. I'm not disappointed about that. The food was great and the drinks were fun and exactly what we needed after a crazy day of travel. The service was slow and the room was a bit hot, but otherwise great!

B&B never disappoints. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all.

La musique est tellement forte (93 db) qu’on ne s’entend pas parler. Pas moyen d’avoir une discussion.

The music is so load that it is tiring and almost impossible to have a discussion.

Should’ve known better than to order burger and fries for delivery. The fries were terrible cold and the California burger wasn’t anything to write home about.

My partner’s poutine was better.

Super expérience. Très bons burgers, ambiance très conviviale, un super DJ! On a passé une très bonne soirée.

La musique était vraiment trop forte, c'était désagréable. On était un groupe de 10 on l'a mentionné au serveur qui trouve aussi que c'est trop fort. Il l'a déjà mentionné au propriétaire que lui a dit que la musique resterait forte. Ce n'est pas fort et je ne recommande pas ce restaurant à cause de ça.

This spot was able to seat 8 people late on a Friday night It was super busy when we got there but there's tons of staff so everything was pretty slick.

Downsides for me would be the overall volume- But that's the vibe of this spot and if you want loud and bumping, you'll get it. We definitely had to yell to hear one another but it's just the style of place.

Our service was good, quick. They can handle a crowd and large group without issue. Our food all came out around the same time + Everyone loved their food and the drinks were fun. I had the collosus poutine with pulled pork, excellent! It's a huge portion and I was able to share.

I think I'd like this place a lot if I was 10 years younger.

(Edited review) years I've been in love with this place but my first visit after covid was very deceiving. The quality of the burgers lowered a lot. Hope this is just a bump on the road while the situation normalizes. Will make sure I edit my review if it does.

They charge you $24 for 12 wings that they claim are jumbo. These are smaller than normal wings. I hope they rectify this quickly because it's going to look really bad if they don't. I don't appreciate being ripped off. Your burgers are great but get your s*** together.

Amazing food. We tried big Jack burger, chicken wings and Philly grilled cheese. Everything was awesome and we loved the food. On drinks side their menu is quite extensive. Definitely coming back again. Cheers

The food was good but the service was disappointing. My husband and I went to today to eat an early dinner and we were the first people at the restaurant right after they opened at 4 pm. We showed the hostess our vaccine cards and she showed us to the smallest table in the restaurant. We asked her politely if it is possible to move us to one of the empty booths, she replied that the booths were for groups larger than 6. We accepted that without complaint. However, 5 minutes or so after we arrived two different couples came in and she showed them to two different booths. I don't know if it's because we spoke English and said we were visiting from BC, or some other reason, but clearly we were singled out for this kind of treatment. I will not be going to this restaurant again; there are hundreds of better places where the staff are more polite.

The cool-aid pickles were the best part of the meal. The burgers and the cocktails are to die for!

Je n'ai pas compris on a refusé de prendre ma réservation au téléphone (soit disant 1er arrivé premier servi) mais une fois sur place de nombreuses tables avaient été réservé. La bouffe est chère mais correct. Les cocktails pas très bien dosés le mien était tellement sucré que j'ai eu de la misère à le boire. Lieu bruyant donc préférable en groupe d'amis.

The service is excellent. The manager today went beyond in making sure we had top notch service. The food was great and there was enough space to feel (socially) distant from others in the restaurant. Labelle & La Boeuf is officially on my "Places to eat" list.

It is a nice place for a casual dinner with friends or for date with your partner. Food is good with many options service is good but the waiting staff constantly ask if you would like to order more so that they can get more tip and if you are a slow eater or you want to enjoy the talks and don’t want to order much then you will get stinky looks. Once, I had really bad experience, service was bad, waiter was rude and because we were not enjoying so we decided to leave and gave a 10% tip which was fair for that kind of service but waiter was expecting more tip and he passed some sarcastic comment. I guess the restaurant need to improve their service and train their staff again.

Love this place. Great food, great service, and the ambiance is ideal if you’re looking for a lively environment to hang with your friends.

The owner Antonio is a gentleman, visiting tables and greeting customers, even getting his hands dirty - they take pride in the food they offer.

Great for burgers. Many options to choose from. Prices are OK. Service is OK. My fries were cold. Not a big deal though. Music is great. Might be loud for some. Recommended.

Jumbo Chicken Wings were not Jumbo at all. Pointed out to the server, who then went to inquire about it with the manger and came back with the explanation that
“they have changed the source from where they purchase their wings, however if enough people complain then they might go back to the older source”
in the mean time, no discount provided on the bill for false advertisement in their menu!

This type of response is just damn near sad! “If enough people complain” he said. It says “Jumbo Wings” on the menu so just provide Jumbo Wings!

Hamburger succulent avec les frites. Service rapide et agréable. Je recommande le lieu aussi sur le rue Sainte-Catherine! Une bonne marche sur la rue Sainte-Catherine pour bien digérer le tout!

Nice atmosphere, great place to hang out, had been there few times, but went yesterday once again after the covid19 restrictions were lifted and the service was terrible. The waitress would get extremely close to us, not respecting social distance not even by 20cms, and got offended after we kindly asked her if we could please keep the distance. Our dish took more than 45mins to come, and when I asked why it was taking so long the answer from the other waiter was like "I don't know I don't cook the food". Really disappointed at the service

Drinks were amazing, the Mac and cheese regular was outstanding! Really hit the spot. To me and my friend, serving size was just right! Al dente and the cheddar cheese sauce was flavourful. The service was fabulous. Servers were friendly, enjoyable and sociable. Service and menu both English and French. Bathroom and restaurant atmosphere and design is very trendy. Very good atmosphere and certainly will be returning again.

very disappointed in the POS machine suggests a 15% tip which is actually 21% a 20% tip which is actually 26% because it calculates the tax as part of the bill.the calculation should only be on the bill before tax.very deceptive

I've only been here a few months but I think this is the best poutine I've had in Montreal! Superb ingredients, truly delicious! Very good burger too! And the donuts are phenomenal!

I ordered chicken wings online, I should say $40 for 2lp chicken wings is a bit overpriced!

Yes if it was Buffalo Wings yes but it was only a regular plate of chicken wings ‍️

Whoa! Burgers here are a mostrosity! You can also eat regular burgers but I was impressed on how people can eat the big ones. This place is fun, love the bar area and the great cocktails.

This place is a must visit in Downtown, offers the best burgers, very delicious, staff is always friendly, service is fast and food is simply amazing! What is special here too is their Menu, not like any other in the city! Lot of choices for the burgers and a very unique menu for the drinks too! Recommended, live it, definetly gonna go there again, 5 stars well deserved, keep it up La Belle

Les burgers sont bien dodus et gouteux. Il y a une très grande variété de drinks et sont généralement très bons. L'ambiance est bonne et on peut y regarder le hockey.

Cadre sympa avec ambiance bar et bonne musique (fort cependant mais jaime bien ca).
Les cocktails sont bons.
La nourriture aussi mais je n'ai pas aimé le goût du nucléaire (le piquant ne me dérange pas Mais le goût est sans réel intérêt, un burger juste pour le défi).
Le goldorak est superbe!
Les desserts sont assez petits pour le prix.
Les frites ne sont pas bonnes mais le chou est agréable à manger.

Serveuse pas du tout accueillante, n’explique pas le menu correctement, elle est sur la défensive et nous a apporté des frites brûlées, sous prétexte qu’elle nous avait expliqué le menu.

Ambiance chaleureuse, mon coktail était bon, mais la grande déception était mon grill cheese, je ne pensais pas que l'on pouvait servir du fromage orange single kraft dans un restaurant, un peu décevant.

I had the goat cheese burger and it was great, but my friend ended the night before it even began when his Montreal smoked meat sandwich sent him to the bathroom of every subsequent place we visited

This is where I tasted my first poutine. I ordered the vegetarian option with pepper, onion and mushrooms and I liked it very much. The price is good, although the music in the place can be a little too loud, so it's not a great place to talk lol

It was just way too loud! The music reminds me of a dance club and I was just there for food and drinks. Food was just OK, drinks looked fancy but were filled with ice, making them a rip off. I will never go there again unless I feel like having an headache and sore throat from trying to have a conversation.

This place has good food! Decent prices and big selection of unique drinks and unique burgers.it's a great place for an event.it's rowdy and fun.
Service was a little slow but we were a big group.it took a lot of time to get water and have our water refilled.it costs almost 5$ to switch the fries for a poutine and the poutine barely had any sauce.completely dry at the bottom.overall it's a great place and nicely located. I suggest public transportation as parking downtown (especially on weekends) is hard to find

Food was amazing! Prices were good and staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is great for an energetic night out. No kids menu but have great Mac and cheese for them. Burgers are huge and drinks are tasty.

I always pick the same burger. Not because the other choices are bad, but because this is just the right choice. The ambiance was nice and though the pricing is pretty high, you get what you pay for. The ONLY reason they lose a star was because of the waiting time, but that's not even their fault if they're overpacked.

Great ambiance, great service, great portions, awesome music BUT the food is regular.the gravy on the poutine tastes like the one at st Hubert and the pickles taste from a can while the beef patties are plain.so sorry to write such harsh criticism about the food.everything else was great.

Honestly surprised this place doesn't turn into a club at night - it would be great! Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, portions are huge and food is good. Prices are affordable, ample seating space and decor is all over the place - in a good way! Music is a bit too loud at first, but you get used to it.

We had mushroom burger and poutine, and found both of them to be of below average quality and above average price. The burger was served pretty fast but very cold.
