La Belle Province

There was a time when we would enjoy this location. But when we have it delivered, there’s always a mistake, like a poutine missing, 2 hotdogs instead of 6. My husband picked some up on his way home, we figured no mistakes as no delivery. Instead I found something in my fries… called, spoke to owner, texted the picture, and nothing. Not even an apology.

Sorry, boycotting this place now.

Came with my family, the food was really good! Portions were generous. As someone from Toronto, I really enjoyed the casual & comfortable Quebec diner food. I’m confused about the reviews because my poutines had generous gravy, and my favourite was the sous marine. Smoked meat sandwich was also good! We even got them both for takeout.

Terrible fries! Average hot dog. This place has really gone down hill. The staff are doing there best under very poor management. Why not make a great club sandwich? Don’t you think people would notice it. Other restaurants do. Why not you. Time for a serious change! Good luck!

Unfortunately, this Belle pro just isn’t what it used to be. Over the years and with changing ownership, the quality just kept going down and prices up. The hot dogs are ordinary, with condiments poorly thrown on them, burgers are tasteless, and poutine is always lacking cheese and sauce. It’s a shame, but time to move on.

The owners have changed and so for the quality. The Michigan hotdogs used to be be automatically grilled. I didn’t notice till it was placed in my test but it came steamed. So the result was a soggy mess. The tomato sauce which had been used before is now a ‘sauce’ of fried onions and maybe diced or crushed tomatoes…. With no spicing detected.
Hotdogs appear overly processed. The fries were perfect… great friendly staff though.
The pace is not that clean either. Eit needs to be upgraded… but I imagine that most people don’t care because they take out the food

Whenever I ordered a large poutine they never put enough sauce. You get home and the bottom half has absolutely no sauce.
I just ordered another one and this time got smart and asked for extra sauce and explained why.
Guess what they charged 3.00 for the extra ssuce. Really 3.00 extra for something that should have been there to begin with.
Total rip-off.

This used to be a great place back in the day. Now the food is bad quality and the service is just horrendous! There are way better options in the West Island!

Old place, same old faces, but great service and great smoke meat and fries,
Let's go everyone, you must go there and try the smoke meat, it's great.

The service was good. The food was one of the worst poutine I had in a long time. Thr quality of the cheese is bad and the place is not been cleaned in a minute. It’s was once a nice place but now the place is not well managed and neglected.

The new Owners are cheap and it's been like that since they bought it. I used to go there since the 90's. Now since the new owners bought it a few years ago the poutine portion has gotten way to small compared to what it used to be. The container keeps getting smaller. And now the latest one is pathetic. The circumference of the bowl stayed the same but the Depth got almost cut in Half.

Poutine size keep getting smaller and smaller while price keeps going up and up.

Go to any other La Belle Province cause this one is cheap.

And I will not lie and say the food isn't good. It is good. The poutine is delicious but the size is now PATHETIC. And the owners are nice and friendly, but nice and friendly does fill my Belly ;)

P. S I'm actually tiny and a skinny.

Poutine was awesome, and the submarine was good but very messy. Wife got Michigan and they were also good but messy as well

Unsanitary.cooks go from handling the cash to handling food without cooking
Huge staff turnover, no one lasts
No one cares about anything
They need new ownership, I feel bad for the owners because they are hard working but them can't seem to make a go of it.too many issues to list. I wonder why the health department and cnsst haven't been harder on this place. Go at your own risk.

I tried this La Belle out. Was not impressed as they cook their meals a bit different than the other ones I go to. Sorry but I'll stick to my La Belle in Pincourt next time.

I was working close by a was on the hungry side so I figured why not! It’s the belle pro so no surprises can’t go wrong!
Well……. I was wrong! I got a medium smoked meat poutine with extra sauce and an all dressed hot dog.

The hot dog tased weird and the bread was dried out. The poutine had a generous amount of cheese and meat but also tasted off. The sauce was very watery and the fries seemed like they were cooked in old oil. The whole thing was just strange tasting!

I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone and I will not go back!
