Order a new item on their menu a Beef Bavette, was advised that the kitchen wasn't willing to cook it more then rare.so much for customer satisfaction

Great service here, even during their busy hours. They have specials on Tuesday's, a wide variety of food at $10. The buffalo burger is amazing here, same quality as La Cage in Laval. Drinks are great here too. I would recommend getting the "Club Cage" app before visiting. You'll get a free desert:)

Great wings and nachos. The pint of Archibald seemed a little expensive. No lack of big screens to watch whatever game or games are on. Surprisingly quiet for a Thursday evening.

Everything about this place is excellent. The food was so tastyand fresh and well presented and arrive quickly. The ambiance is so great, quite stylish yet super comfortable and there's USB plugs below the banquette seats. The Service was top notch excellence and the prices are super reasonable. Fantastic menu lineup too.

Les années passent, les modes changent, des restaurants ferment, mais la Cage reste toujours une valeur sûre. Un service impeccable, une très bonne ambiance et des plats copieux et goûteux. Je recommande bien évidemment les nachos classiques, mais aussi la Poutine Buffalo (version repas) que j’ai adorée.

Le seul petit point négatif, c’est que nous n’avons pas pu voir le match du CF Montréal, peut-être à cause du canal de diffusion qui était ce soir-là AppleTV.

Quoiqu’il en soit, c’est un restaurant que je recommande! On y passe un bon moment et on y mange très bien!

What a difference a year makes.
Very rude staff including the manager or whoever that older balding guy is at the door. Was not friendly or accommodating whatsoever. We left. We went to the one on Decarie. We had an amazing time there and will not be coming back to the VSL location eventhough we live 3 minutes away.

Stopped here late night after coming back to our hotel. Complimentary popcorn which was great.
Food was extremely tasty and a nice selection. I had the cob salad which was delicious.
Atmosphere is also nice with some really cool decorations hanging from the ceiling.
Service was great.and.waiter was friendly.

They took a very long time to bring us our food. We were a group of 8 people and we were all late going back to work from our lunch break. But, the food was very fast when it arrived. They changed their menu so there are more healthy options but you can still get a good burger. I had the chicken and waffles and it was good. They also had the popcorn readily available so we were able to eat that when waiting for our food to arrive. Besides the slow service, the food was good and the price was fair.

A fine sports bar/restaurant to watch games or spending some time with friends. Food is OK and service is very good.

Très bon service. Le nouveau menu comporte beaucoup de bonnes options. Meilleurs chicken wings en ville. Plusieurs bières, dont quelques bonnes bières de microbrasserie.

Nous étions un groupe de 90 personnes et nous avons eu un excellent service, les serveurs (es) on été parfait et très compréhensif, bonne bouffe et super ambiance.

Nous y sommes allés pour un repas d'affaires du midi et le service était excellent. Notre serveuse venait suffisamment à notre table sans trop nous déranger.

À l'image des autres La Cage.
Ambiance amicale, écrans géants partout, serveurs/e courtois, menu correct. Si la bière était plus abordable, ça serait parfait!

Our server was lost, we waited for over 30min to get asked for the bill after they cleared our plates. Ridiculous.

Ever since the update, the menu is actually decent. The food is tasty. The Maple sriracha wings are good, I got 8 free for downloading their app after the Canadiens had done some goals or something.

J'essaie d'être bref avec des clichés XD.serveuses très jolies avec sourires chaleureux (toutes) très bon marketing vue que je déteste l'île de Montréal et les gens qui s'y trouvent, de plus que je n'ai pas mis les pieds dans une cage depuis un bon 20 ans (pcq je trouvais dégueulasse) et aujourd'hui, j'ai vraiment le goût de revenir ici! Super service et très bonne assiette. Et que dire de la Bud fraîche. Moi qui ne mange pas de viande, j'ai pris un steak saignant et j'en bave encore

Une Cage comme vous les connaissez. Service efficace, il n'y avait pas de match cette soirée là. Nourriture en bonne quantité, prix corrects, il n'a manqué de rien.
Ambiance intéressante.
3 étoiles puisqu'il s'agit d'un restaurant tout à fait correct, dans la moyenne.

Went there after work to catch the game.place great packed so I'd recommend reserving beforehand. There are 2 floors, and plenty of TVs. Food selection is ok and beer selection as well. What was lackluster was the service. The person at the door was pretty rude, kept ignoring us, almost like she was trying to avoid doing her job (you know placing people at a table). Other then that it's a good place to catch the game

Hi. Usually I like to come to your bar and watch the game or UFC. Love your burgers too. But last night I witnessed an unpleasant incident when one of the supervisors yelled at a server or a buss girl. He is skinny tall gentlemen with a short black hair.
He was very rude to her and showing her with a point finger which way to go and which table to clean, in front of other staff and more importantly all the guests.
Very insensible and homophobic behavior by a supervisor in 2019.
She was probably slacking and hiding in the back, and as a young employee she probably doesn't have a high work ethic.
But, regardless of the quality of the staff, having a manager with a body language of a dictator makes me believe that he is an egoist who doesn't care about his staff feelings.
If the person mistreat its staff, who are supposed to provide customer service, he definitely doesn't care for its clients neither, regardless of the fake smile je might offer once in a blue moon.
You had a great lady manager last year, who was pleasant to everyone in public, that I haven't seen in last few months in your bar.
I don't mind the change in staff but I definitely don't want to eat and drink in a place where a manager or a supervisor treats his staff inhumanely, and support that kind of behavior.
I am horribly sorry that I have to write this kind of review but it's because I really liked going to your place.
To me last night's Cage looked like a prison where a guard is ordering prisoners what to do.
Very sad atmosphere compared to the one during FIFA world cup or Khabib vs. McGregor fight night. There are no more genuine smiles.

Food is pretty good here. Adam and Jade always recognizing their regulars. Service is always a reason to go back. The food comes next. Decent prices and Tuesday deals are awesome.

Went for lunch. Ordered a soup and a burger. Never got the burger until I actually check with the waitress. To my surprise it was never placed and she thought I only ordered the soup. So instead of 45 mins lunch it became almost 2 hours.

Good food and beer selection. Nicely renovated with new giant screen. Great place to catch a Habs game.

I used to hate this place. Tried to give them a chance twice years ago. Perfect place to have drinks and watch a game but the food was awful. When I saw the commercials about 3 years ago or so when they hired a popular French Canadian Chef, I decided I'd try again. I was very impressed! The food is great, the new decor perfect, a very wide selection of local beers and service is usually good. Prices are just slightly on the high side but worth it in the end. Recommended for lunch, on the terrace when weather permits or a game on the numerous big screens. Try it.

Patio is wonderful in the summertime. Since they changed the menu, not sure I like it as there's been a price increase. The simple, cheesy flatbread & Avocado salad were enjoyable though but my son's fries next to me looked brown+ unappetizing. Seems as if they are trying to be more upscale. Staff is pleasant.

Nice resto/sports bar with plenty of large screen TV's playing different sporting events. The menu has a wide range of meals and is quite good. They have a bar and a large selection of beers.

It was ok. Pleseant service. Music a bit loud. They should definitely consider lowering it a bit to help balance ambience. Overall a good experience.

The server spilled our drink on us and did not comp us at all for any of the missing pitcher. The manager did come out and say he'd cover dry cleaning costs, however with black clothes it wasn't necessary. Sangria is flavour disappointment with both red and white having limited fruits and often not stirred.

Menu and customer service greatly improved in the past 2 years.

Good quality pricing value. Friendly service.

Pas un mot a dire, sa va toujours tres bien. Sauf des gros doigt sur petite lettres de claviers. ;-)
