Hey this water that works on Sunday afternoon is very rude doesn't know anything about the menu! Ruined awar experience!

The burgers are always good here and the local beer is excellent. The service has well improved since my first visit a year back. The pop corn at the door is a very unique idea.

I find this branch easily accessible and one thing I really like is that it has a lot of natural light from the big windows.

A lot of screens and a huge one at the back so would definitely be a good choice to watch a hockey game!

Le service était vraiment pourri, on a demandé au serveur du pop-corn il nous a demandé d'aller nous servir nous même. J'ai demandé un coke, il nous a donné un Pepsi on dirait de l'eau et du sucre. Burger de poulet, c'était même pas une galette de poulet c'était des languettes de poulet over cooked. Last time!

L'attente de 30 minutes a value la peine. La nourriture très bien servie et à notre goût.

Stopped here for dinner before a concert. The atmosphere was nice, lots of large TVs and friendly staff that give you popcorn when you enter and we’re knowledgeable on their drink menu. My wife and I both happened to order 2 different beers that were no longer available and when the waitress returned she knew exactly what to recommend to us off the top of her head that was similar to what we wanted. We ordered the chips and quac as an app which was very delicious and a decent size and I had the hot honey chicken sandwich and my wife the burger and both were very tasty as well. My wife described it as the flavour of a homemade burger with the quality of a restaurant. The fries were also good, hand cut I believe and I love that they come with both ketchup and mayo. Also I love when the table comes with glasses of water and a bottle because I often need a refill. Was not over-priced compared to the quality of the food. My only noted complaint is that I really prefer a physical menu and not a QR code to scan but I know that’s a repercussion from Covid and safety procedures, but I’d love to return to an optional hard copy. Will be recommending to friends and returning.

I wouldn’t recommend La Cage to anyone. It use to be a good place but service has dropped post COVID. Half the restaurant is empty and they squeeze you in at the bar and won’t let you sit anywhere and then offer you a seat under the TV where you can’t watch the games. They were out of several of their popular beers. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it couldn’t of been tougher or dryer. I originally was surprised that they have a 3.6 review on Google as they were really good in the past. There are dozens of amazing restaurants in Montreal, take a pass on this one and enjoy the many others available.

La portion de chou-fleur bouche était plein de petit point noir comme ci ´ huile de l friteuse était sale puis par rapport au boisson j ai pris un Pepsi qui goûter rien sans gas comme de l eau sucreon était 2 personne on a pas manger nos plat on a payer puis on est parti c était l une de mes pire expérience

Very slow team. The restaurant was half empty and only 4 people were ahead of us we waited 45 minutes to get a table. Even when we reached the hostess she said that there was a table available and made us wait over 20 minutes. Not coming back after this.

Aujourd'hui, nous (8 personnes) avons donné notre nom et attendre à la réception, après plus que 40 minutes la serveuse nous dit qu'il n'y a plus de place pour nous.

Nous avons demandé de pouvoir commander pour empoter, mais avec un ton arrogant le gérant au nom 'Remi' nous a dit non, "le restaurant n'accepte plus de client" même pour nous qui attendait depuis longtemps.

C'est un restaurant au coeur du cartier des spectacles mais avec un service de base qualité.

Je suis allé à la cage pour un 5 à 7 sur la terrasse extérieure et c'était bien agréable. Le service était très bon et les bières IPA consommées également.

Asked to use washroom to wash hands before being seated, they sent me outside restaurant to find a washroom.

J'ai pris un burger Blitz.il était bon. Service impeccable d'une jeune fille dont je ne connais pas le prénom.
Assez bruyant.comme dans tous les restaurant s de la chaîne

L’hôtesse d’accueil a été désagréable et n a pas voulu nous assigner à une table à l’extérieur malgré qu il y en avait de disponible

Highlight of the visit was the server judging us as we were aglophones and telling us that we should pay more tips as 10% isn't enough in quebec.

Terrible! We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and the day before we called to see if we could have the birthday cake.and the manager left it when we arrived at the place the manager of the day DIDN'T LET IT EAT THE CAKE.claiming that each manager has his rule. We were with children and it was very unpleasant. The manager was rude and rude.we were embarrassed.unnecessary.we went on the 1st of august around 5pm.

I had a mangye daikiry without alcohol then salt and pepper wings with a green all was delicious. To finishing, a regular coffee Gauvain our waiter was so kind and professional. Thank you!

Was at the Le Cage in the Complexe Dersjardins. Went for the wings special they have on Thursdays. Their wings and sauce recipes I think are a little different than some of their other locations and to be honest much better and delicious. It's my go-to location now for wings. Service was super fast; we got our order, drinks included, within 10 minutes of ordering. Nice décor and vibe.

Good food and setting. The attention, although friendly, a little messy. We ordered ribs (delicious), hamburger (good, although the garnish was small) and a bowl of lobster, rice and mango (very rich, remarkable).

I went to their restaurant on a Thursday July 27 at 9: 30 the hostess was totally unprofessional, lack mannerism,
I would not recommend this particular La cage.

We stopped here for lunch after arriving in Montreal and the food was decent…typical bar food. The bartender was great and super nice and gave us a few other places to check out in the area.

Bouffe très bonne Burger Blitz (20$) exellent le service par la belle Alexandra impecable. La Cage pleine a craqué pendant le Festival Juste pour rire vers 17h30 l'attente en valais la peine j'y reviendrai certainement

Un serveur a versé deux verres de 500ml chaque completement vers moi au moment de nous amener notre bière. De plus, la gérante a dit qu'elle irait appeler la sécurité si je ne payais pas la facture. Manque total de respect avec le client! En résumé j'ai dit que je n'irais pas payer la facture et ils ont nous demander donc de quitter le resto!
Sincèrement je ne jamais vu un traitement d'un client comme ça dans toute ma vie.
Attention avec ce resto: ils sont agréables jusqu'au moment d'avoir un problème.
Je ne vais JAMAIS retourner à ce resto ni aux autres de la marque.

Waiters are nice, food is ok, but the reception lady-I don’t like at all, she doesn’t want to answer nicely, looks like she doesn’t care. Pity, the place is not bad.

I visited La Cage 4 years ago and absolutely loved the food and atmosphere of the place. At the time it was probably the best sports bar I had ever visited. So much so I longed to return with my family during our 3 week mega holiday this spring. I actually planned a 24 hour layover and hotel nearby in order to visit Montreal and this establishment in particular.
When we arrived for what was our final meal of the holiday it seemed to be as I remembered. But when it came to ordering our food. There was limited choice for my vegetarian daughter and I. Nevertheless we asked for a couple of menu options including a garnished baked potato each. We asked for these without the bacon bits. When my wife and son in laws order arrived ours was nowhere to be seen we were told it would follow shortly. After about 10 minutes the waiter admitted there had been a "mistake" with our order (I suspect they had put bacon on) once again we waited. In the meantime my wife and son in law had just about finished their meals as they were forced to start as the meals were going cold. The meal finally arrived with little apology. We then started to cut into them and they were raw and uncooked. I called the waiter and after a while convinced him they were inedible (which he seemed reluctant to accept despite me demonstrating with a fork) He returned the potato's telling us it would take another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I was about to tell him to forget it and give us our bill when they finally arrived. This time the potatos were acceptable. I was furious at the fact they could not even get such a basic order correct after 2 previous attempts, after all of the efforts we had made to return. Our joint meal was supposed to mean we ate together, in fact we ate completely apart spending 3 times as long of our valuable sightseeing time waiting for incompetent staff to find some urgency. I fully understand the disinterested waiter comments made by other previous reviews. It just seemed very slack and badly run/organised this time. No real apology apart from removing the item from the bill. I guess in order to at least get a tip. Unfortunately due to this experience I will never visit this place again as it totally ruined the last night of a perfect multi centre holiday of a lifetime. La Cage are lucky I gave it 2 stars because of my previous good experience, otherwise it would have been minus 1 if this was possible to do so.

Terrible service, Manager is unprofessional and staff does not know what they are doing. Do not go to this place!

Waited 45mins for a seat at the patio area so that we can enjoy the jazz festival beside and realized when we were seated that there were 4-5tables available and weren't filled for quite some time. We were two with a baby, so I guess they were waiting for a bigger table, but it could have been so easy to combine the two seater for us.

Most of all, the food was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I ordered a lobster poke bowl and the rice in the bowl is just insulting to any rice eater. It was super moist to a point, it was like compact soft cement (I wish I took a photo). My husband ordered a mushroom bluecheese burger and had to send it back cus the patty was quite burnt that all we taste is charred flavor. The ceasar drink was meh.

The only reason we went was for the music, sadly event the festival was interrupted due to heavy rain
