La Fabrique de Bagel de Montréal

Every time I come to Montréal I stop by this place to order smoked salmon bagel for lunch. It's always good but this time the quantity of the salmon is less. Taste is 7/10

Great bagels with spreads or bagel sandwiches. They also had smoothies and specialty drinks.

We got the salmon and capers bagel along with a latte.

Service was good and everything was prepared very quickly.

The bagel was nice and moist but the cream cheese had a bit of a grainy texture. The latte was a little watery and not very strong.

The staff was very pleasant on the Easter morning when I went there to grab breakfast. The bagels are different than what I have had before. Fine coffee as well!

One of the best place for Bagel's in Montreal, they have wide range of spreads/bagels to choose from.

Absolutely horrific! They lay the sandwich out all day, getting stale and not allowing any specifications. They toasted a bagel “fresh” and then refused to put salmon on it! Never go here!

Personnel toujours sympathique et bonne qualité de produit. J'adore prendre des bagels à emporter pour la maison en plus de celui commandé le matin même. Énormément de variété!

Posted a review 2 days ago about my food poisoning experience and was told I’d get an immediate response but I still haven’t. Going through the reviews and seeing other people also throw up after eating here and I am not surprised. Hope everyone is ok.

Leur café est super bon et réveille bien cependant il est plus cher que la moyenne pour les même format. Mais aussi il est toujours ouvert avant son concurrent d'en face

THE BEST BAGEL SHOP IN MONTREAL! Fairmount Bagels lost my order for a large group and so I dashed to La Fabrique de Bagel and CHRIS was amazing! He helped during the morning rush and supplied the perfect freshly baked bagels. Definitely recommend them anytime!

This location was just down the street from our hotel and we wanted some Montreal bagels to take home. We dropped in first thing in the morning (around 7: 30) and it looked like they just had a huge Uber Eats order or something and it is in a heavily trafficked commuter area. However, we received quick and pleasant service, fluent in English, but unfortunately they ran out of sesame bagels so we waited. The bagels did not disappoint, fresh, chewy, delicious and he even added a couple of free ones for our wait.

Decent bagels! I was really impressed at the freshness and overall taste because I was expecting much lower quality.

Any bagel that isn't St-Viateur bagel gets suspicious looks from me. I'm very loyal to my bagels. I wasn't even going to eat at this place until I saw that they had a smoothie+bagel combo for around 13$.

I got the mango smoothie and it was pretty bad. It was warm and really slimy. It tasted overly sweet and not refreshing. I'd probably give their other flavours a try but this one was a no.

The salmon and avocado bagel was delicious! I don't know who decided to come up with this combo but it was the best! Lots of bagel places don't really offer varied sandwiches but this place does. I thought the avocado was good but it could have been a bit fresher. Although, I do know how hard it is to manage avocado so I can't really fault them for that.

I recommend this place for lunch. I think they really go out of their way to offer lots of different bagel sandwiches combination and they keep everything clean and presentable. I do see how just a plain bagel would be dry from this place but if you get their sandwiches it gets rid of that issue.

The only problem I have with the sandwiches is that alone they become reallllllly expensive. Like around 8-11$ per bagel sandwich.

Thé bagels are phenomenal, i came by on a Monday at 2 pm. Normally the service is very polite, today the service was impatient and extremely rude. It was NOT busy. She looked irritated that she couldn’t hear me. And I was really taken aback by her attitude towards me.

Not alot of options on regular bagels. Tasted good. Price average. Good place to get a quick breakfast on the go. Inside building near entrance to sub station.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! NEVER GOING AGAIN!
The staff is very rude and not professional at all! Every Monday morning I go buy the special: 6 bagels + cream cheese for my office.
They made me pay for 6 bagels and after 2hrs of travelling to work I realized that they just gave me 5. The first time it happened, the manager offered me 6 others. I went there the same day after work, and guess what.the afternoon team was not even aware of that issue and the sassy sales girl treated me as if I was a liar and made me lose my time by asking so many unrelated questions. Also, those afternoon bagels were already old and hard! The second time the same issue happened, the manager offered me 6 bagels for free. This morning, I went to pick up those 'free bagels', the salesgirl I spoke to was rude and sassy and did not know about the issue, though the manager confirmed to me twice that he would speak to his whole team about it! So they wasted my time again to find a person who knew about the issue. The worse is that, as I got to work, I open the bag and again, there are just 5 of them!
This was at the Bagel shop at Bonaventure. I think that is the first lesson we learn in pre-primary school is counting up to 10! If your employees don't know how to count up to 6 bagels I guess you should change team or give them basic math lessons! I would not waste my time writing a review if the bagels were just for me, but because of the time I lost and the shame I suffered at work therefore I would like to warn everyone to stay away from this incompetent business!

Official addicted to it. Best bagels in downtown, the variety of spreads available or pre-made bagels. Fast queues and professional staff.

Les bagels sont frais et très bons. Il y a plusieurs variétés de fromage à la crème (miel et noix, fraise, bleuet, fines herbes et ail, olive, etc.) Il est aussi possible d'acheter en paquet de 6 les bagels.

Delicious Montreal bagels with a variety of flavors and many cream cheese options. Hubby enjoyed a bagel sandwich and Daughter enjoyed a smoothie. Very friendly and helpful staff

Excellent bagel et des fromages à la crème régulier mais d'autres très originaux comme le miel et noix ou encore aux figues.
Leurs bagels fabriqués sur place sont excellents. Leur café est excellent aussi je ne pars jamais sans un grand latté accompagné d'un bagel bien entendu. Oublié Starbucks et essayz la Fabrique de Bagels!

Les bagels et les fromages à la crème sont bons. Mais les employés sont extrêmement désagréables et désintéressés. Je travaille tout près donc j'y vais depuis l'ouverture et c'est toujours la même chose. Lorsque nous demandons une question, ils haussent les épaules ou disent simplement "je sais pas". J'ai l'impression que j'ai à faire à une bande d'ados complètement blasés. Le patron aurait besoin d'engager des gens un peu plus motivés et sympathiques comme au Muffin Plus, Starbuck ou même Café Dépôt.

Staff did not explain that you can only order a "custom" bagel if you are only getting cream cheese on it. Otherwise you had to select a pre made bagel. They did not explain this so I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon and was given a sandwich with smoked salmon cream cheese. I understand the confusion, however I had just asked three times for them to explain it to me after trying to order the sandwhich I wanted.

Why would a bagel place not let you make your own bagel?

Finally, I figured ok this smoothie looks good. It was warm.

Terrible people. We wanted them to substitute a premade sandwich and they wouldn't they said we had to buy both bagels if we wanted to do that. We are not used to being told No.
Bagel with salmon creme cheese was good but would have enjoyed it more with salmon and capers on it. This was the one with the bus station downstairs. All the way from United States to experience this and very disappointed.

We heard a lot about bagel tourist traps in Montreal (one in particular) and so far this doesnt seem to be one of them. It is visited by mostly locals working in downtown. It offers fresh bagels with various cream cheese flavours and other ready made ones. So its not just a bakery yet the bagels are fresh and diverse. I loved the sesame bagel (with figue cream cheese) and couldnt resist ordering a 2nd: cinnamon bagel with peanut butter and jam. The staff are patient and just great. Will come here again v soon for sure!

Went to get a bagel with garlic cream cheese, and even though they had the garlic cream cheese they wouldn’t serve it to me because they had to get rid of their other older flavours first.

The location was the one under the scotiabank theatre

Fresh Montreal style bagels, wonderful mini salads - you can even do a sandwich salad combo for a really good price (do recommend for lunch), and great service (fast and conversational)

Super fresh bagels, and amazing cream cheese flavours. I had the All Dressed Bagel with Jalapeño cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly service, my French is very rusty but they were still able to get my order done quickly.
Good selection of Montreal hand rolled bagels and premade sandwiches, and some sweets.
My only vice is that although the selection of cream cheeses is fantastic, because they are so close some of the flavours are getting contaminated by the one next to it (ie: sweet next to savoury). Will definitely return when I'm back in town.

Disgustingly rude staff, very overpriced. I politely asked if the cream cheese was ice cream (I thought it was) and they said no, which I understand. Although when I left the shop, they clearly started to laugh at me, and my comment. Please be nicer to your customers if you want them to return.
