La Maison Verte

Came to La Maison Verte for a birthday celebration with a group of 11. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I ordered the salmon tartar which was very fresh and as my main I ordered the filet mignon which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Would definitely come back and recommend to others

This place does a good job embodying the culture of l'habitant. A true Quebecois establishment. The atmosphere is great. It's wholesome, and you feel right at home. So I expected a lot. I ordered the beef tartare and, unfortunately, was underwhelmed. I think it could be improved by adding some shallots, perhaps some garlic, parmesan, or maybe even anchovies. I'll be back to try something else on the menu.

Très belle emplacement, terrasse magnifique, service chaleureux et courtois. La cuisine était succulent. Rapport qualité prix excellent!

What a gem. Was on a business trip to Montreal and on the last day we had a major freezing rain event that caused all the flights to be cancelled so decided to have a great meal to take my my off my travel woes and this place was just what I needed from the service to the food it was 5 star all the way.

Super idée pour un souper à la maison pour une occasion spéciale! Les Tatars étaient savoureux et délicieux et le personnel au restaurant très chaleureux à notre arrivée. Merci à Éric le proprio d'avoir accommoder mon heure de ramassage sans problème. Je recommande sans hésitation pour un ramassage ou un souper sur place!

Amazing experience! Everything was delicious! We had a great meal. It was so good that we stayed for 3 h!

J'ai été très déçu par mon repas. Le doré n'était pas bien aprété et j'étais incapable de retirer la peau. Le poisson était tiède et les légumes froids. Je m'attendais à plus.

Entrée: soupe froide. Excellente.

Plat principal: bavette. Très bonne mais accompagnement très moyen (frites molles et une MINUSCULE portion de légumes).

Le prix des vins étant exorbitant, on est resté sur l'eau. Mais elle mériterait bien, au minimum, un traitement Brita ou autre, pour enlever le goût du chlore.

Dessert: genre de gâteau à la fraise. Très décevant car même si la mousse de fraise était excellente, la couche était elle était TRÈS mince. Le reste du gâteau (grosse couche "éponge" par-dessus) n'avait AUCUN goût, c'était comme de l'air. J'aurais certainement préféré la crème brûlée qu'on voit dans les photos.

Café correct mais très dilué.

Je mets 3 étoiles car le prix est relativement élevé par rapport à ce qui a été servi.

L'endroit est bien et chaleureux et invitable. Nous étions sur la terrasse arrière au niveau tu toit qui était vraiment sympathique avec les belles lumière suspendu. Pour le prix de la nourriture très abordable et non dispendieux. Comme entré j'ai prix une entrée de tartare au saumon fumé et repas principal une bonne bavette de boeuf qui était très bonne. Une place que je courtoirais a nouveau.

Tranquil spot for French cuisine in the West Island. I had a good experience coming here with friends and the cocktail menu is not too shabby. The ambiance changes completely after sundown. I wish we had made a later reservation, it's nice on the terrace in the late evening, and not too hot!

On me regardait avec un aire pincé, service de breuvage très lent, presque qu'aucun choix de bières locale, pressé de nous débarrasser. Les plats sont excellents mais aucunement aimé l'expérience en groupe. A y retourner en couple seulement.

La nourriture est délicieuse! Le service est professionnel mais pas chaleureux. Le verre de vin est trop cher pour la quantité (à peu près 5 onces.).

We have celebrated our wedding with 52 people last weekend. We were extremely happy with everything and all our guests were super impressed by the food itself. I highly recommend having your wedding here as it is a chic and warm restaurant.

They were very accommodating to our many different requests which was also very nice. The owner, Eric, has been very helpful.

Their steak, rack of lamb, sea bass and vegan meals were all spectacular.

Fantastic rustic French restaurant right off the highway, nestled into a very unassuming part of town. The restaurant boasts a diverse yet limited menu that caters to both meat and seafood lovers. The service is friendly and fast and the drinks are lovely. The restaurant is within an old home and thus brings with it a level of intimate dining that more modern restaurants don't provide. There is a charm to the lack of out-of-the-way decor that makes you feel like you're dining in someone's house. It is a great choice and the prices are excellent as well.

This is our favorite restaurant. Food is excellent and the service is excellent. We go there once every few weeks.love this place.

Great service and delicious food! We went for a baby shower and had a fixed menu. Started with warm ciabatta bread and butter. The poached salmon was cooked perfectly with a delicious dill sauce. Highly recommend!

This spot is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The team is very welcoming and the food they cook is so flavorful. I never decline to have a decent meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.

We went to the restaurant to try the fish and chips, which was very good. We ordered sodas and they were flat. We told the waitress and she gave us new ones that were worse. I was disappointed when we received the bill that the sodas were on the bill. We did not even drink any of it.

L'endroit est bien, mais j'ai trouvé les 2 tartares vraiment sans aucun goût. Pour le prix je suis très déçu. Le personnel est gentil.

I would give it 3.5 stars if i was able to. 3 is too low, and 4 too high.

B: how long our first course took to arrive.especially considering none of our food needed cooking except the ravioli.

(but as wife pointed out, there is a ticket order, but in my opinion this is where an experienced person to expedite shines)

Food price, for what we ordered at least, was a bit high.it took 45 minutes for our food to start arriving.but once it started, the following services were prompt.
I wonder how long it takes when capacity is full.

Service was friendly and attentive.

Space (upstairs terrace) was pleasant, cozy and quiet.

The mushroom ravioli was a delight.
The yellow beet salad wonderful (but overpriced).
The charcuterie platter for 2, ordinary and overpriced (that was the biggest let down). The smoked char was excellent.

Presentation was very good.

Complementary amuse bouche of Homemade pita with hummus as well as a lime granita pallet cleanser was a nice touch.

I will be returning and will choose better value dishes next time.because on the dishes we tried.cost to price charged, was 4 or 5 times cost.when it s a dish that cannot be replicated by a home cook, that is ok.but when it is not "fine dinning" then that is a bit high.

All in all a very nice evening and a nice meal.had we been charged $30 less, it would have been 4 stars.

Not open for dining in but pour emporter is good to order. Did like the Maison would imagine atmosphère is ideal when there was dining was open.

Pour mon anniversaire aujourd'hui nous avons commandé le menu Saint Valentin. Je suis comblé. Qualité, goût, quantité, qualité tout y était conme en salle à manger. Bravo La Maison Verte. Je recommande.

Nous avons choisi sur le site tartare saumon, escargots, et strudel et crème brûlée, commande pour apporter, délicieux frais, service rapide et courtois, grande portion, merci

Nous avions commandé des plats à emporter vu la pandémie. Excellent repas, bien emballé, prêt à l'heure, prix raisonnable. Avons pris le Trio de la mer (crevettes, pétoncles (wow) et queue de homard, en plus du Plateau de charcuteries (savoureux et original). Les accompagnements étaient aussi très jolis et délicieux (courge spaghetti, betteraves jaunes avec feta, riz sauvage et salsa de maïs et tomatillos). Seul bémol: les desserts sont très ordinaires et viennent peut-être d'ailleurs. Définitivement à refaire!

Excellent restaurant. Tout est bon et le rapport qualité/prix est parfait. J'y vais depuis plus de vingt ans et je n'ai jamais été déçu. L'ambiance est très chaleureuse.

This restaurant worked with us to deliver fresh-frozen meals to friends in Montreal and they more than delivered! Food was exceptional, huge portions with enough for leftovers, and they took care of delivery. Our friends said they'd definitely order from here again!

I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I have to say their service is always good and they keep the place neat all the time. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

We ate here Jan 19 for supper with our family. The location is unique as the restaurant is in an old building with lots of character. There is free parking in the rear of the restaurant. The inside is clean, nicely decorated and has a pleasant ambiance. The service was very good and I found my meal was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food is regularly fresh and delicious, staff members hands over excellent customer service. I loved how neat it is and atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

We ordered from the Table d'hôte. Our meals were beautifully presented and so delicious! It's my new favorite restaurant.

The food was ok though the menu was a lot about seafood, which didn't leave me with a lot of choices.

The service left a lot to be desired. We barely got any attention from our waiter.

Also, considering a lot of the tables were empty, waiting 1 1/2h for our main course was quite unacceptable.
