La Piazzetta Sainte-Catherine

I visited the restaurant and had fantastic experience. Our server Mathew was amazing, really appreciate of his service made the dinner experience exceptional. They couldn’t find english menu, and Mathew was so kind to explained all the menu for us. We had salmon tartar, diabolo pizza, cheese pizza and fettuccini. All the food was delicious and if I visit Montréal again, will love to revisit.

Passé ce soir pour un souper en couple avec ma blonde. La nourriture est toujours très bonne et égale d’une fois à l’autre. Mais plus particulièrement, nous avons eu un service de feu qui mérite 5 étoiles d’une grande blonde dont j’ai malheureusement oublié de demander le nom. Cette serveuse mérite amplement son salaire et ses pourboires Merci encore!

Bon accueil, cuisine généreuse et raffinée, prix en adéquation avec la qualité de l'établissement.

Easily one of the worst Pizzas I've ever had.

I ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza and diet coke. My bill came out to be $35.70 and not worth it at all.
The pizza tasted so strange. The dough was not fresh and there was a strange taste of the tomato sauce. Almost tasted like canned tomatoes.
The pizza could've very well been frozen.

The server was polite but it took so long to order because they came 20/25 mins after to take out order and then it took 40 minutes + to bring our food.

Do not reccomend at all.

Judged for my choices
I went for a cocktail after-work with my colleagues, I ordered a spicy pizza without Olives. When the waiter brought the pizza, the olives was lying on the pizza. I told the Waiter that I didn't want olives (since I asked beforehand) and he looked at me seriously with a judging look and asked: " do I have to make it again? " So I said yes please, he took the pizza away. When he returned to bring drinks to my colleagues he looked at me and ask is it because you are allergic to Olive or just because you don't like it that you asked that I remove it from the pizza? What difference does it makes since I am the one who will pay for it and I asked at the beginning without Olives. I was able to feel how annoyed he was by my request.

After a while I received the new pizza, but this time the plastic that holds the pepperoni was left on it. I had to remove it before eating the pizza.

The waiter said he would give us a discount, but he wasn't able to remove the pizza price completely. He was very unfriendly and condensending. Honestly I would not recommend that establishment due to the judging and mean staff that gave us a poor service. The entry meal was good though. It was overpriced.

Bon service, bonnes portions, bon temps en famille et le resto est bien situé! Ça fait toujours plaisir de retourner et leur allongé, c’est un de meilleurs.

Un menu qui s'est beaucoup agrémenté de nouveaux plats avec le temps.
Mais il semble que la recette des pizzas goûteuse et incroyable soit perdu

Large variety of entrees, much more than just pizza. I had a Hawaiian Braised Pork Piazzetta Rolls. It was excellent

Food was nice, lots of great quality ingredients. Servers were nice. Just a little tight in space with the chairs and tables.

We made a reservation for dinner (which were didn't need to, as it was obviously quiet in the restaurant), and were promptly seated. After a while, the waiter dropped two glasses of water on the table, turned around and left. Nobody returned for over 20 minutes - so we just got up and left.
The sad thing is that we have been coming here for more than 20 years as it was the place we went on our first date, and as this was our anniversary/birthday, we try and always come back. In the past the service was always great.
But this experience has left a very bad impression. With so many choices starting to reopen in the Village, La Piazzetta will need to reinvent to remain relevant.

This place has been in business for a very long time, they survived covid. Really extensive menu and the wine is very moderately priced. Went to this place 3 times while we stayed a couple of blocks from here. Staff is very friendly and good service. Will go back again when we are back in YUL.

Nice friendly place in the gay village of Montreal, staff very efficient and cool and good food. Seafood pizza or musroom pasta.

The food is delicious, suitable for gatherings, the store has a great atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly.
Pizza can be mixed and matched with different flavors, and Piazzetta Rolls are pizza rolls that can be eaten in one bite, which is very special.
The pasta is also very delicious, and the cheese is added to enhance the taste.

For dessert, Chocolate and caramel melt with fleur de sel is highly recommended. The filling is melted hot chocolate, paired with caramel and salt flowers. The salty, sweet and warm taste is very happy.

Went there with my friends and we had a wonderful time. The service was absolutely great and the food was very tasty. Themis restaurant is right on the busy district of St Catherine. The restaurant is very cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Their prices are acceptable and match the quality of the meals they serve. Highly recommended if you fancy a quick delicious Italian bite.

We have been twice before and we where excited to go tonight, not sure if there was new staff, new chef but it was very sub-standard compared to our previous visits and what we expect when we go for a $200 meal. The veal was burnt with canned tomato sauce on the side, it was not edible

I very rarely complain but I did and the manager never came out to talk to me - I own my own company so I know if you have an upset customer you drop everything to go and see them but after waiting 15’mins to speak to someone we had to leave, we are on holiday in Montreal!

I hope they figure out their new staff and get the restaurant back to good but if your reading this and want a nice Italian- I’d be looking elsewhere

J'ai pas expliqué pourquoi j'ai mis un 2 étoiles mais voilà: vendredi en soirée occupé chez vous.on comprend et on attend une place dehors.le service était quand même rapide et poli.ma critique est plus au niveau de la nourriture: ma pizza qui semble avoir été cuite au four micro-ondes. Je l'ai retourné une fois car pas assez cuite (c'est pas mon genre de faire la Karen mais là c'était du pain froid tsais). Et au retour pas plus cuite et ne semble pas avoir touchée le four de près ni de loin.est-ce la soirée crowdée ou simplement un chef blâzé? Bref ça et les escargots "gratinés ". Voilà pour le 2 étoiles.

On a commander une pizza avec mozzarella bufala nous avons eu seulement des morceaux de mozzarella à 23$ on s’attendait à avoir une mozzarella entière sur la pizza

Staff was very friendly and in a group of 10 people they got all our orders correct. It was delicious and did not take too long to come out. Pizza is made on a pita-bread type crust, very thin but flavour packed.

We had an awful experience at the Piazzetta St Catherine on Friday! We were a group of 11 and we had booked it well in advance. When we got there, everything looked fine as the table was already set BUT everything spiralled down from there! No one came to get our drink order until 40 min later. Then they took some orders haphazardly and as a result, I was never asked what I wanted and they never brought what my husband ordered and he had to remind them TWICE! An hour later after our arrival, our waiter came to us announcing that he had to leave and someone else would take care of us! The new waitress did not show up for a good amount of time and TWICE I personally went to the bar to ask whether someone would come to take our orders! I even asked to talk to the manager but I was told, the manager was not here and our waitress would come! ’! ’. Finally, after a good amount of time, this lady came to take our orders and she was rushed and short with people and seemed so stressed! Then our order came in and I got someone else’s order and then they had to switch it and the list of disappointments goes on and on. All of us were disappointed and so upset about the whole experience and situation! Even when we said the Sangria was so watered down …she dismissed it and said they made it the way they were supposed to! We spent a lot of money in this place and so sad that such an establishment treats customers like this! I am truly flabbergasted!

J'ai choisi l'assiette de tartare de saumon, frais et bon, mais peut-être pas assez relevé à mon goût. Pour les "pains/croûtons", c'était moyen. La salade était savoureuse grâce à sa vinaigrette qui elle était délicieuse. Excellant service dans son ensemble. Ambiance décontractée.
