Les serveuses sont bêtes et on sent qu’il y a une ambiance étrange dans ce bar. Rien n’est chaleureux. Très décevant.

The worst place to go for party. They allowed everyone to enter the place, free of cost but asked us to pay in cash, may be because of our colour being Asian. We waited for more than an hour and saw them giving free entry to everyone except asians. Open discrimination and racism. Would never go to this place in my life and won’t prefer anyone, especially asians. Surprised to see this kind of people with such poor mentality in a country like Canada. Educated illeterates that are blots on Montreal tourism.

I recently ordered sushi from La Voute for a house party, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight that left a lasting impression on my guests.
From the moment I placed the order to the delivery at my doorstep, La Voute demonstrated exceptional service. The packaging was not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, ensuring that the sushi arrived in perfect condition. This added to the overall visual appeal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
La Voute’s sushi was a masterpiece of flavours and textures. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each piece showcased the skillful craftsmanship of their sushi chefs. The quality of the ingredients and the expert combination of flavours truly set La Voute apart.
It's safe to say that La Voute's sushi was the highlight of the evening, and I received numerous inquiries about where I had ordered such fantastic sushi.

I went to this club for the first time, but after 45min staying in the line, the doorman brought all of the people except me and my friends.
They didn't respect me because we are 3 guys not girls.

This kind of behaviour with the customers is NOT nice.

Went to a nighttime party with my partner on Sunday night. Both of us *never* had an issue getting in to any club in Mtl or elsewhere.

Experience with La Voûte was.quite different. We were literally watching multiple groups walk in right in front of us as bouncers kept telling us that venue is at capacity.

Malheureusement, nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience avec eux. Nous avions choisi la voûte pour avoir une expérience avec les danseuses, la musique, etc pour le bachelorette party de notre amie. Ils nous ont mit sur 2 tables séparées dans une petite salle, à l’écart et sans ambiance. Pour compenser, on nous a fait des promesses qui n’ont pas été respectées (alcool pour la mariée)

Les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés pour la quantité et la qualité des sushis que nous avons eu.

D’ailleurs, nous avons entendu les employés/gérants parler en mal de nous. Merci de nous avoir appris à quoi ressemble le manque de professionnalisme.

Je ne recommande pas cet endroit. Allez à Bord’elle à la place.

Very expensive, but anyone going here already knows that. Although our waitress was nice, the service was very slow. We only got drinks and deserts. Drinks were very good, desert was crazy expensive. We had the assortment of their desserts for 120$ and omg was it overpriced for what we got. Also, we all got charged 4$ each for our glasses of water which was poured for us from a carafe, so for all we know it was tap water and not Eska as they claimed when we confronted them. They didn't even ask us if we wanted any water, just poured it in so we all assumed it was tap water. What a scam. The lights here are stunning, the music was bad so barely anyone was dancing. As for shows, there were 3 shows that were impressive, and the rest it was just a girl on the bar swinging lights in her hands.

I would advise against anyone booking this place for a group. I booked for a 20-person dinner + VIP banquette for the evening and had an awful experience from start to finish. After diner, we had to wait 1.5 hours to have access to our VIP. We were stuck at the table without the possibility of consuming the alcohol provided in our VIP. Once in the VIP we had to wait another 30 minutes to receive the first bottle. I had established clear instructions with the waitress so as not to break the budget. I had specified that once the amount was reached ($4,000 of alcohol), she had to close the bill and make me pay. She told me not to stress, because it was her job, and she was used to it… I could trust her. She then came to see me around 2: 00 to tell me the balance of the alcohol I had to buy before closing the bill. Seeing the time go by, it was better to order immediately according to her. (For a balance of about $2000). After serving us the last bottles, the waitress came to see me to tell me the “bad news”… her colleague had served bottles of alcohol without updating the bill in the system. In the end, they blew up the budget planned for the evening. What was supposed to cost me about $4500 went up to $7250. I am very disappointed with my experience. In my book, that's what I call thieves.

Je déconseille à quiconque de réserver cet endroit pour un groupe. J’ai réservé pour un souper de 20 personnes + une banquette VIP pour la soirée et j’ai eu une expérience horrible du début à la fin. Après souper, nous avons dû attendre 1.5 heure pour avoir accès à notre banquette VIP. Nous étions pris à table sans la possibilité de consommer l’alcool prévu dans notre VIP. Une fois dans le VIP, nous avons dû attendre un autre 30 minutes pour recevoir la première bouteille. J’avais établi des consignes claires avec la serveuse pour ne pas défoncer le budget. J’avais spécifié qu’une fois le montant atteint (4000$ d’alcool), elle devait fermer la facture et me faire payer. Elle m’a dit de ne pas stresser, car c’était son métier et qu’elle en avait l’habitude… je pouvais lui faire confiance. Elle est ensuite venue me voir vers 2: 00 pour me dire la balance l’alcool que j’avais à acheter avant de fermer la facture. Voyant le temps avancer, il était préférable de commander immédiatement selon elle. (Pour une balance d’environ 2000$). Après nous avoir servi les dernières bouteilles, la serveuse est venue me voir pour m’annoncer la ‘’mauvaise nouvelle’’… sa collègue avait servi des bouteilles d’alcool sans mettre la facture à jour au système. Au final, ils m’ont fait exploser le budget prévu pour la soirée. Ce qui devait me coûter environ 4500$ est monté à 7250$. Je suis très déçu de mon expérience. Dans mon livre à moi, c’est ce que j’appelle des voleurs.

Nous avons pris le plateau de sushis comme cela nous a été recommandé par la serveuse.
Nous étions 10 personnes
65$ par personne et nous nous retrouvons avec un plateau avec 6 sushis par personne.
A 65$ par personne cela donne 10.83$ du sushis.
Nous étions 10 personnes, nous demandons à la serveuse pourquoi la table à côté a le même nombre de sushis pour 6 personnes, elle nous répond que ce sont les plateaux de groupe peut importe le nombre que l’on est à la table.
Au moment de payer on nous facture plusieurs bouteilles d’eau que personne n’a commandées.
Extrêmement cher pour la piètre qualité et la quantité.
Je déconseilles fortement.

La Voute is the restaurant/bar duo to head to with a group of 10+ when visiting Montreal. Book the dinner and the bottle service through their website and contact them, you won’t regret it. Top-notch on the aesthetic and ambiance, phenomenal experience, excellent service, splendid & beautiful food presentation, delicious cocktails and fairly priced. The music is such a vibe. We booked for a Friday night, had a live show during dinner, and it turns into a club at 11 pm. Everyone in my group was satisfied.

One of the hottest night club / cabaret in Montreal located inside a 1920 bank vault in the old Royal Bank of Canada building on St-Jacques street, Old Montreal.

You can book for diner, a Japanese experience, from 20h00 and you will be granted VIP access and welcome to stay the whole night until 3h00.

The Japanese platter for two for $ 120 (edamame, scallop tataki, salmon oshizushi, oshinko, inari, tuna, lobster, salmon tartar and various vegetables) was fresh, tasty and prepared in front of our eyes in the vault. Note that the minimum tip on your bill is 20 % but no cover charge after 23h00 and free performances by staff and dancers during the evening.

Great DJs house music style and friendly staff.

In the same building, on the first floor, you can relax or work at the Crew Collective & Cafe with its gold ceiling.

I had a wonderful experience at la vote with my friends, I had the best time of my life. All kinds of fantastic drinks with the well furnished bar, the lights really fit for the bar, Their food was delicious good atmosphere good service.

Great place, been going for years, know all the people involved. Then there was this new bouncer who was extremely rude, and only spoke French, when we only spoke English. We tried explaining to him that we have a spot where we leave our jackets but he was forcing us to do coat check.

What a great way to end our Montreal trip!
Thankfully some locals recommended La Vaute to us, and lucky we arrived early and were able to get in without a reservation.

Decided to sit at the bar for pre-dinner drinks but our bartenders recommended some dishes so stayed for dinner too. Valerie and Zach were amazing! Not only with food recommendations, and delicious drinks, but in making us feel SO welcomed and like part of the family.

Ended up staying for hours, talking with them, eating, drinking and celebrating (mine and my friend’s) birthdays with them, and enjoying the music and different shows they have.

For food, definitely recommend the Lamb Chops, Asian Salad, and the sushi.

This is a fun, and extremely IG photo worthy place. And you surely won’t want to miss it when in Montreal.

This club is overhyped! We went to La Voute to go clubbing and they required us to buy a bottle to get in. The bottle cost a certain price before we enter then suddenly changed towards the end. The barmaid (considering she didn’t do anything special) cancelled the 15% tip and forced my friend to give 20% instead because that’s the minimum… since when? Such a scam! Very disappointing!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the pleasure of being served by the bartender Zach who immediately made us feel welcome, and, more importantly, served us some incredible cocktails! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!

La Voûte is a piece of history! Zach is an incredible bartender; he’s attentive, receptive, and answered all of our questions about La Voûte and all that it represents!

Restaurant that turns into a club around 11pm. Definitely worth it. Music is great and the vibe. Will most likely be asked to do bottle service but it’s worth it and very reasonable pricing.

Club très classe et chic: pensez à réserver ne serait-ce que pour aller boire un verre car vous risquerez de ne pas rentrer.

Nous avions une réservation pour 10 personnes pour un anniversaire. A notre grande surprise, nous n’avons pas pu accéder à l’établissement car l’une d’entre nous possédait une preuve de vaccination « papier » sans QR code.

Le bouncer et son équipe n’ont rien voulu entendre, et le restaurant à tout simplement annulé notre réservation!

Je doute encore de la véracité de ce motif de refus, sachant que cette preuve de vaccination est acceptée même, pour les voyageurs entrants auCanada.

Bref, très decue de l’accueil et du traitement reçu. Je précise toutefois que nous avons eu une réservation de dernière minute dans un autre restaurant de la place, sans aucun soucis!

Un endroit magique et très chic pour passer une soirée entre amis ou pour y tenir votre évènement corporatif. Impossible de ne pas apprécié le cachet de l'endroit, les spectacles de danse, et l'ambiance générale de l'endroit. Annie-Audrey Fortin saura s'occuper de la planification de votre évènement corporatif et en fera une soirée mémorable.

Le pire restaurant-bar, je n’ai jamais vu autant de racisme, le gas de la porte n’a pas laissé la personne qui était avec moi entrer, en donnant une raison banale, puis la personne (une fille) de la réception je l’ai appelé et parle très froidement et aucune tentative de sa part pour régler la situation, aucun esprit de service à la clientèle. En bref les personnes qui viennent à la voute c’est sûr qu’ils ont d’argent alors pourquoi ne pas laisser les gens entrer, y a beaucoup de restaurant- bar meilleur que celui là.

You have to sit in the table, you can't dance, you are pressed to order the maximum possible amount of alcohol.
The prices are extremely inflated, the champagne is worse that Metro's.
The music stopped at midnight, because the Police came to control the staff.
We payed $1000 and waited 1 hour for the music to start back! Never happened.
In a nutshell, it's an underground simple bar with Moulin Rouge prices.

An incredibly classy establishment. The service is great and the scene is hype. The show and the food was Not to forget the music! The DJ was on last night! Best night for my best bud on his bachelor party!

They Tried to overcharge each person of our group extra bootles. The manager was rude, played dumb and didn’t even apologize when bringing the new bills. Also, many items that were order never came but were charged on the bill. Overall, service is horrible, and expect to be conned if you go there, so check the bill before paying

La Voute is exactly why Montreal's night life can't be beat! Tucked away in the basement of an old bank in downtown Montreal you will find something straight out of a Hollywood movie! Amazing music and ambiance that just makes you want to party all night long It was my 1st time visiting this tucked away gem and I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in Montreal!

Amazing food, amazing ambiance and amazing cocktails. They have a wonderful live show that plays throughout the night and the staff is great and attentive. I DEFINITELY recommend this place! Good job La Voute!

Yesterday i pass to la voute to enter and the security didn’t allow me because he was asking for tips for his pocket in another hand i spoke with the lady in the door she allow me to enter and there was places to sit in the bar but the security was not allowing her because i didn’t give him money to his pocket how you allow people to work there all that because he saw me in luxury car that was around 11: 00 pm

Food was ok show was trash the waitress overcharged me and was miserable this city as milion of place with good food so i dont recommend it

The most amazing dining experience! The food here is honestly the best sushi I have ever had and the presentation is almost too beautiful to eat. They’ve created a magical experience that you have to try for yourself to believe it’s real! Pictures can’t comparee
