As a recovering Poutineaholic, their AMAZING poutine always makes me want to relapse

J'ai été agréablement surpris de la nourriture, c'est un lieu qui donne le sourire avec un accueil très sympathique et poli. Je recommande ce restaurant pour ce faire un petit plaisir. La cuisine était bonne et copieuse. Merci au serveur!

The portions are huge! I first visited in 2016 and came back for nostalgia sake. We shared the poulet sous-marin and gyro assiette. The sandwich was great and had the right amount of toppings on a crispy bread. I found the gyros had too much sauce but my partner begged to differ. Plenty to take home after for under $40 before tax.

The staff is so friendly! I was greeted with a smile by a really nice server who was cleaning the front door when I arrived and she maintained friendliness even though I don't speak French and she maybe did not know English so well. I didn't know the difference btw the regular poutine and brown sauce so the chef prepared a sample for me and let me try both! I got the brown sauce in the end. I found the fries to be a little sweet, maybe that is how you like your poutine, Quebec! Not necessarily for me but good quality anyway and still delicious. I would go back to this place to try other things because I got such a good feeling from the staff also the takeout was packed with love and had a little piece of cardboard in there so I didn't burn my hand. Yah, the interior might leave a bit to be desired for some but for me it's about the food and the experience. Thank you guys!

C’est l’endroit si on veut perdre notre belle ligne.
L’accueil se fait sans-souci et on nous trouvent une place rapidement. Une fois la commande passée la nourriture arrive assez rapidement, ayant déjà mangé pizza Poutine et autres plats. Tous sont excellents et généreux pas comme certains fast-foods qui servent des plats anorexiques!
Le prix également très bien comparé à l’abondance de notre assiette.
Je recommande évidemment si on veut se faire plaisirs de temps en temps.

Left the pharmacy and for convenience I left my mask on. Was told to take it off as soon as i entered the resto. If i want to wear my mask until i get to my table, I will! Also, If you like to be ignored until you take out your wallet, you'll be happy here. Air dyer in bathroom didn't work and no paper towels. Will never come back. What a horrible restaurant!

Precovid, this was a great little restaurant with reasonable prices, and good food. What made this place special was the service, the waitresses were all genuinely sweet and very hospitable. Most of the wait staff had been with the resturant for over 20 years.
Now with the restaurant back open, prices are up, the food is dull. And the service is mediocre at it's best.
Unfortunately this will be your downfall. Like I said go somewhere else. You lost your cachet!

So glad Lafayette has reopened. Had the best pizza there, better than anything I've had delivered from elsewhere since the start of the pandemic. I'm hoping they will be able to add their wonderful daily specials to the menu.

Compared to the food, the price is too expensive.they gave u full of salade with seldom meat.it seems to me i paid 55$ just for 2 plates of salade.ridiculous!

Not a fan of the onion rings. Caveat is its damn hard to find good onion rings.
Burger would of been good but.they dressed it opposite of what I asked.
I'd like to go back and give it a try.
But messing up a take out order.getting to your destination only to find out it's not right.
HUGE MISTAKE.
If your a restaurant don't mess up your customers order.big turn off.

Not impressed with the food at all, soggy calamari. The staff was very pushy for us to eat fast and leave, even after saying it was okay to be seated (last call)

Very cute little diner. We went on a Sunday around 11a and it was a little busy. But we only waited for about 5 minutes. It is not seat yourself. Most of the staff only knew French but our waiter spoke pretty good English. The menus have pictures so you know exactly what you're ordering. The food was great and it was affordable. We had the breakfast menu, so I'm not sure if it changes after noonish.

Discovered this place this morning and it's always been there perfect location directly across the street from the pepino Metro great friendly staff delicious food large portions and moderate prices with a full liquor license Loto-Quebec games on site with parking in the rear. What more could you ask for

Avant cetait tres bon, maintenant c'est bon 1 fois sur 4. Je viens de commander 2 frites et un pogo et un cup de sauce et j'ai jeté le 2/3. Les frites cetait des "bouttes" secs et noircis, la sauce figee et mottoneuse, et le pogo pas cuit! Le livreur semblait fâché de devoir livrer! C'était leur dernière chance je dépense plus mon argent la bas

Bon spot pour un traditionnel sandwich au smoked meat. Resto deli à l'ancienne avec une ambiance très conviviale.

Wonderful American style diner in Montreal. The food was very French Canadian with a very US twist. I absolutely adore the place.

Used to go here when I was a kid for the poutine and went back recently. Food was still amazing, portions were massive, and the price was very reasonable. I don't live close but I'd be willing to drive anytime, the only thing is that parking is quite limited in that neighborhood

The staff is very nice and the food is good as well. Good location on st Catherine close to Papineau subway station. I recommend that spot strongly!

Great place to eat. We had the pizza which was superb. The menu has a lot of choices! The service is excellent too. It is a low key place-very enjoyable.

The owners of this location are AMAZING. Someone had taken my phone and I located it online at this restaurant. When I called Mani (one of the owners) made a point to help me out and found the person who had taken it, took the phone back and held it for me at the cash. His kind manner and willingness to help a complete stranger was so refreshing. I can only imagine how he must treat his paying customers. I would eat here simply for the fact that I would know I am supporting the best kind of people! - That and I love comfort food ;).

I love this place! It's the closest I've found to a real diner in Montreal. It's not super cheap but it's far from expensive and well worth the price.

Je viens pour manger régulièrement, mais le service est a améliorer, la serveuse (mme avec des lunettes) pour le déjeuner est la pour ramaser son tips et pas pour s'occuper des clients.pas cafe, pas d'eau, etc
