L'Annexe St-Ambroise

Cozy place. Went for a private meeting. The place is beautiful. You can see part of the brewery from the windows, and it is next to the park and the canal. The bartenders were very nice. There's parking on the street and the next building in front of the terrasse.

The evening started okay, we walked 30 mins with two kids (3 years old and 16 months old) to experience this brewery/restaurant. The wait staff was nice when we arrived. Unfortunately, it did not end well. Our 3 year old has an egg allergy. When we asked if the pizza had eggs, the response was ‘no’. She proceeded to eat a cheese pizza with her little brother and 10 mins into our 30 min walk home she started throwing up. This is how she reacts to egg exposure. Please be sure you’re confirming to your customers the ingredients. And if you aren’t sure just say it does have eggs.

C'était un belle expérience jusqu'au moment je suis aller chercher la sortie et une de les gars de le staff après que je demande où était la sortie il m'a répondu "ton français c'est horrible". Ça c'est pas très gentil. Ça m'a bien affecté et j'espère que vous allez bien évaluer la situation parce que je pense que c'est un language non acceptable. Jamais dans ma vie j'ai entendu un personne dire que ma façon de parler c'est "horrible".

Je retournerai pas.

I booked the l’annexe for a private event and cannot express how pleased and happy I was with the customer service. Billy (the GM) and his friendly staff truly went above and beyond and surpassed my expectations. We catered our own food and a full-service bar with st. Ambroise delicious brews were on taps. Though this was back in September, my family and friends still talk about how great everything was and about the superb customer service. Will definitely be booking with them again in the future:).
