Étant très très anxieuse de nature, je peux dire que le personnel de Lasik Montreal, du moment de la réception et ce jusqu'à la chirurgie m'ont mis en confiance avec leur approche chaleureuse et humaine, leur conseils pertinents et leur compréhension de mes inquiétudes. Chaque personne (tout poste confondu) qui a contribué de loin ou de proche à mon dossier a donné un service 10/10. Je recommande à tous les gens qui ont peur de faire le pas vers la chirurgie. Communiquez vos inquietudes sans avoir peur du jugement. Les professionnels de Lasik ont vraiment su m'accompagner dans une des meilleures décisions que j'ai fait! Merci beaucoup!

I was well taken care of from consultation leading up to the actual procedure. I was -3 in one eye and -3.5 in the other. My vision is now 20/20 it still feels surreal to wake up and not need glasses I needed for the past 24 years!

I recently had the procedure done and i cannot be happier. I was very nervous and i also had a million questions. The staff helped ease my nerves and answered every question i had. Everyone that i encountered at Lasik Md was very kind. Dr. Avi Wallerstein made me feel very safe and explained the whole procedure step by step to me.

I called to inquire about an appointment on June 13th and they said someone would contact me in 72 hours. I didn’t hear anything from them. Also, I had asked for them to send me a summary of my surgical details, which they said they would give me in said 72 hours. I needed the summary for my cornea doctor who needed to see them so she can be able to treat me due to my rapidly decrease in vision. It’s been one week and nobody has called to offer me the appointment I so desperately need. Terrible communication with terrible service on their end. I expected better above and beyond service. Disappointed dissatisfied to say the least compared to the reviews I see online.

I had such a positive experience, everyone at Lasik is super professional, comforting, compassionate, and careful with their clients. I felt comfortable and confident immediately as I entered the clinic and left feeling super satisfied with the treatment I received. Despite treating so many clients per day I feel like they took their time with me and the process was not rushed. Thank you for giving me a new pair of eyes!

Everything from start to finish was just perfect, also can’t believe how good the prices are. My prescription is -1.75 I payed a total of $490 per eye so $980 tax in everything. 20/20 vision 24hrs later. A+ Service. Thanks

From -7 prescription to 20/20 vision, totally worth the 5 minute procedure. The whole process from consultation to operation was very smooth and easy. The staff made me feel comfortable about the procedure. The team obviously has alot of experience under the belt and Dr Bashour is a pro. I am no longer blind without glasses.

Amazing experience getting lasik here! I traveled up from the states as it's far cheaper in Canada than back home. But I also got the added benefit of super friendly and helpful technicians who not only did my consultation and explained along the way the steps we were taking and the results they were seeing, but also answered any questions that I had. The same goes for my surgeon. He was super kind and answered my questions and talked to me during the surgery itself so that I knew how close to being done we were on each eye. The surgery itself flew by, AND they all literally spoke better English than I do (they all spoke French as well). I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get lasik done. My experience with LasikMD was great.
I went to get evaluated in January 2021 & was a good candidate. I was still nervous about it & pushed it off until August 2022.

In the meantime, I received an addition discount offer which helped me finalize my decision which had been brewing for a few months.

The team is very professional, reassuring & timely in their execution.

Dr. Mounir met with me prior to the operation & reassured me about the process & his experience.

The same day, in the afternoon, I was already seeing great. The next morning, I can go about my day with great eye sight. It’s been 6 days now, no eye dryness. A bit of eye fatigue on day 4, first day back to work with screens.

Expérience assez traumatisante pour ma part, car beaucoup d'angoisse et de peur avec tout ce qui est lié au médical. L'opération en elle-même s'est très bien passée, donc c'est vraiment mon ressenti sur la situation qui m'amène à écrire "traumatisante". Une prise de sang, ça m'angoisse, alors imaginez une opération de ce genre!

Le personnel de la clinique a été aux petits soins avec moi avec beaucoup de bienveillance et même s'il y avait beaucoup de monde à la clinique cette journée-là, ils ont pris le temps d'essayer de me rassurer à chaque moment.

Maintenant, il n'y a plus qu'à profiter de mes nouveaux yeux!

I recommend Lasik and Dr. Wallerstein to anyone. The experience was wonderful, the procedure was quick and relatively painless, Dr. Wallerstein was kind and extremely knowledgeable. Even the post-operative healing is going extremely well.

The staff team at Lasik MD Montreal is amazing! All of them are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions, concerns and made the procedure as a whole very smooth and easy! It was by far the best customer service I've ever had.

The surgery itself went very well and was painless. I assume it lasted 7 minutes at most and most that time was just resting. Dr. Mounir Bashoor did an amazing job!

Personnel très rassurant. La procédure (j'ai fait le lasik) était totalement indolore et très rapide. J'ai eu des picotements dans les yeux durant environ 4h après l'opération et je n'ai plus ressenti aucun inconfort depuis. Ma vue était à 20/20 le lendemain. J'ai fait l'opération il y a trois jours et ma vue se brouille par moments (la sensation est similaire à celle de voir au travers des lunettes sales; on voit mais il y a des « tâches »), mais apparemment c'est totalement normal la première semaine voir le premier mois. C'est un peu tôt pour me prononcer définitivement, mais si tout continue comme c'est maintenant je pourrai dire que je suis très satisfait du service qui m'a été fournit par Lasik MD.

I had all-laser LASIK done late July 2022 for severe myopia (-9.5 on both eyes). I am writing this review 6 days post-pocedure, and I have to say everything was amazing with LASIK MD! The entire process was streamlined and straightforward, from the initial free evaluaion to the procedure itself. Dr. Bashour did the surgery and he was an excellent communicator prior and during the procedure (and of course, an outstanding surgeon). The entire thing took no more than 8 minutes for both eyes. I was seeing 20/20 within the hour after the procedure, and so far I've had none of the common side effects (dry eyes, night haloes).

I would have done this way earlier had I known it was this simple. I would recommend LASIK MD Montreal to anyone needing vision correction surgery.

LASIK eye surgery is a small price to pay for a life lasting benefit. The staff at the downtown Montreal branch of LASIK MD were stellar in ensuring a smooth operation on my eyes. They were meticulous with every step and comforting to their patients. The facility also was clean, orderly and zen. For my eyes, I chose the custom wavefront option instead of the standard option because it offers an even greater level of control and precision, it's safer and it's bladeless. It offers a greater chance of achieving 20/20 vision and reduces the chance of patients losing their best-corrected vision. Therefore, it is better than the standard option on all fronts. Although it costs significantly more, I honestly don't see any reason to choose the traditional LASIK option these days except for financial reasons. The administrative processes took longer than the surgery itself. The adminstrative processes took like 2 hours but the surgery itself was barely 20 seconds on each eye. It was quick and painless. Your eyes will be anesthetized to not feel pain so you have nothing to be anxious about. If you are, they give you a relaxant before the surgery to calm your nerves. I cannot describe how I feel a new visually beautiful world has just opened up to me. Best life decision I've EVER made. Goodbye to glasses and contacts forever

Amazing service, everyone was so nice and professional. The covid protocol is very well done. The operation went super quickly and with great success, and now I have 20/20 vision, the next day after my surgery (when I had a -6 prescription previously). I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you to all the amazing employees who are also my colleagues at lasik MD I had a great experience on my Surgery day. I was nervous in the beginning but was quickly put at ease by the technician, surgical assistant and the surgeon. Dr Wallerstein was a gem he was very kind and walked me thru each step during my Surgery which only lasted 10 minutes in which I barely felt anything.
2 weeks later and I am beyond satisfied with the result 20/20 vision. The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner

The experience was really quite smooth and efficient, the staff were extremely kind, and considerate about the stresses someone might be feeling before going into surgery. They also really emphasized and encouraged the asking of any questions and/or preocupations you might have. It's the third day since I got laser eye surgery and everything they told me to anticipate in terms of initial discomfort the first evening, and being nearly able to see 20/20 already has been true which is really exciting! I think this is one of the best investments and they do make it feasible for people with varying budgets:)

Simply FANTASTIC! I believe the reason you are reading this review could be to make a decision about having your eye surgery with Lasik MD. I have been there about a year ago, and was looking for any information that would help me decide whether, or not, to go with the surgery. I also meant not to leave a review very quickly after my surgery, so I am certain that my review is as accurate and as useful as possible. I can now state that the decision to go on with the surgery, and the decision to go with Lasik MD Montreal in particular, was one of the best decisions I made (and by that I mean in my entire life!). The results of the surgery are fantastic as I previously indicated. No more need for glasses, and very sharp vision. How can it be better? Of course, there were many things to consider, including if I will be seeing halos, especially at night. This happened at the very few weeks after the surgery, but nothing was major in any way. At the moment, I am not really sure if halos went away altogether, or if I have just gotten used to them! The bottom line is that they really do not exist as far as I am concerned, as they do not bother me in any way. So, in terms of having the surgery, and based on my personal experience, I would certainly recommend it 100%.

As for the service from Lasik MD Montreal, it was, and still, superb! The quality of this service cannot be any higher, and it could not have been any more professional. So, all my thanks to all the great professionals at the center of Montreal! That being said, I would like to provide a very special and particular thanks to Mr. Nicolas Tisseyre, who has indeed made my whole experience dealing with Lasik MD as great as it is. J'ai appris que cette clinique existait par un ami qui me la recommandé. Il ma rapporter que le service était impécable et que lui-même connaissait 3 amis qui avaient déja fait l'opération laser. Le procéssus peut faire peur quand ont pense à l'opération laser, mais cette clinique contient des professionnels de la santé avec des années d'expérience, toutes les étapes m'ont été bien expliqués, le prix en vaut la peine pour les avantages pour le reste de votre vie, les traitment post opératoire est simple (mettre des gouttes 5 jours), je vois maintenant très bien et je ne réalise toujours pas comment 5 minutes seulement d'opération bien exécuter par une chirugienne, on permis de regler un probleme de vue que je traine avec moi depuis 15 ans. Je vous conseille fortement cette clinique!

J'ai bien aimé mon expérience chez LASIK MD à Montréal (René Lévesque Ouest)! Le personnel était professionnel, courtois et attentionné. J'ai eu le Dr Bashour? Bashir? Désolée, je ne me souviens pas de son nom exact, mais cet homme était rapide et il explique bien. Tout a bien été pour la chirurgie au laser aussi avec le Dr! Je recommande!

Étant référé par un ami qui a subi cette intervention, j'ai reçu un rabais de 300 $ applicable sur les différentes chirurgies offertes par LASIK MD.
J'ai donc passé un examen d'admissibilité hier soir 10/03/2020 et tout s'est très bien passé.
J'envoie donc mon rabais au conseillé (M. Nicolas Tisseyre) pour qu'il l'applique à mon dossier.
C'est avec surprise qu'il m'informe que le rabais n'est applicable UNIQUEMENT sur les interventions LASIK personnalisées et non sur le LASIK standard. Je lui demande de vérifier, car les termes et conditions sont très clairement écrites, mais il me répond avec condescendances que je ne comprends rien et que c'est de même.
Je vous laisse juger:

Les risques et conséquences de ce genres d'opérations sont trop grandes pour que je mette mes yeux entre de mauvais mains.

Great experience since day #1. I had my surgery last Friday and all went good. They have really good service. You could not go to a better place in Montreal for this type of surgery.

Overall good/positive experience. People there take good care of you.
I was calm & ready to start but some points on the consent form made me feel uneasy about having the surgery. So i raised some concerns with the surgeon and also a friend who went through this some years ago and i was ready again to go. The surgeon who is also the CEO of the company explained the process, with focus on my concerns.
I guess the biggest fear of mine was not knowing what is going on, what to expect. I layed down the operation table and things started to happen quickly, with things being put in my eyes. I am glad i asked how can the patient mess up the operation so to abstain from movement. Breathing at a steady pace also helped. The operation itself. It was really quick&was done before i knew it.
Staff took care of me right as i i le the room. About 1h later, after a check-up, i was left to go. The glasses you receive are really helpful (it was a bright sunny day).
I opted to get the eye drops from the clinic, so i had everything i needed (and i needed them indeed) to be comfortable.
Looking forward to my full recovery:)

It took me a while to build up the courage to book this appointment, but now I wish I had done it years ago. The building itself in downtown Montreal is gorgeous and professional - and the elevator has a button just for the Lasik MD suite! How special! From the minute I walked in and saw jars of chocolate chip cookies in the waiting room, I knew this would be a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The entire staff was friendly (spoke English flawlessly) and I connected with a few members right away. Maher and Keyvon were especially kind and guided me through the process smoothly. Dr. Bashour looks like a movie star, and is personable and incredibly skilled. The entire surgery was less than 10 minutes. I have been singing the praises of Lasik MD and at this point I should just release a new hit single called, "I loved it so much and everyone should go here. "

I had my eye correction surgery done here recently and the results have been as great as promised so far! It feels good to not have to deal with contact lenses or glasses anymore.
The staff & the surgeon I had, Dr Bashour, have all helped to provide a good and relaxing experience throughout the whole process. Everyone did a good job explaining the procedure and answering any question I had. On top, the wait times were quite reasonable and the waiting area is comfortable to help you feel at ease while waiting between the different steps.

Après l'opération, j'ai eu un léger flou à un oeil, mais on m'a rassuré et c'est parti au bout d'un mois. Le service était très bien. Surtout pendant l'opération, qui s'est d'ailleurs passée très rapidement.

L'opération n'est pas douloureuse, seulement stressante, et les soins post opératoire sont peu contraignants (des gouttes à intervalle regulier). J'y suis venue pour corriger ma myopie, et je découvre maintenant le plaisir de voir net en tout temps)

Very friendly staff. Great follow ups. Very accommodating in terms of scheduling. The surgery did not hurt at all and was very quick. My only regret is not having done LASIK sooner!

Hands down the best staff experience I have had at any type of clinic (and any business in general, really). Every step of the process is laid out for you to understand and is followed in a very professional manner. Everyone was kind, patient, understanding and knowledgeable about the surgery. Many of the staff even shared their own experiences, calming my nerves. The procedure was very quick and the doctor was excellent. Truly memorable and pleasant experience!

I had my surgery done 2 weeks ago and I think I was the best decision of my life so far! I woke up the next morning and I could see things I’ve never been able to see before, even with glasses or contact lenses. I feel like I’m living life in high definition now.

I had done a lot of research prior to my consultation, so I knew what I was getting into and I was well aware of the risks that were involved with this kind of procedure. So far, I am really satisfied with the results and I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Dr. Bashour was super nice to me. He could see that I was a little nervous so while he was doing the procedure, he spoke to me the entire time and described what was happening as he was doing it.

I had my surgery last Friday, the 13th (should've taken the date as a sign). Everything was going so well until my cornea flap got dislocated 30 minutes after I left the clinic. Such a condition should be treated "as soon as possible in order to prevent formation of fixed folds and epithelial ingrowth". When I went back to the clinic, I couldn't open my eyes, I was scared, nervous and in pain. I was informed that my surgeon left Montreal to the Pointe-Claire clinic and the staff refused (after I begged) to contact another surgeon in the area and assured me that my surgeon would be here asap. I ended up waiting for an hour and a half for my surgeon to get there, with an overdose of calming drops during the waiting time. Plus, after waiting for hours in the dark with my eyes closed, the surgeon didn't even take the time to talk to me before attacking my eye with drops. So sadly, my experience with LASIK MD Montreal was not all nice and easy. They are clearly unable to handle emergencies!
