Laurentian lanes is truly a local mystery. How it manages to remain open is almost beyond comprehension. A cash-only, run down bowling alley with dated equipment and horrible cleanliness. Potentially a 3-4 star establishment in 2005.

Wonderful place for fun with family and friends. Clean. Cool music and lighting. My favorite bowling

No services, took around 5 mins before someone would greet us at the counter. Even though the "shoe guy" was there and said he couldn't touch the cash.
They won't let you pay debit or credit under 50$, where 3 games for 2 persons is less then that.
I means we're in 2022.
They closed down my alley before i could finish my last game.
Employees where more on their cellphones then doing their work task.
They we'rent able to give a proper french services.

Really dissapointed.

Won't Recommended and might never go there again.

I simply love it. The quality of ball is good. The price is normal. The shows are clean and new

Long wait times during weekend. We waited almost 1hr. No pre booking on weekends. Ambiance music is great

Bowling is cash only, which we found very odd for an establishment this large in 2022. Customer service was terrible. We payed for 2 games but the aisle closed in the middle of our second game. We called someone for help from the screen at our table. They said they'd come check it out. We waited 15 minutes and then a new party came to our aisle. Not sure what that was about but we won't be back.

Honestly pleasantly surprised. Place is super nice inside, lanes are in good shape and my two young girls had a blast.

Had a problem and service came right away to help fix it. I also wish they had like a designated are for children balls / Ramps instead of having to find them.

The major con is just the checkin process. It’s really not well organized and it’s just a huge crowd of people waiting blocking the entrance / exit. They should really just put a designated place for people to wait.

40$ for 1 game for 4 with 3 shoe rental.

Ditch the security theater & I might come back. The mask wearing is incredibly uncomfortable in such an environment. No thank you.

Very disappointed! Very bad costumer service! Payed $82 for 2 hours for cosmo night at duckpin lane #2 and the lane get stuck. Waited around 20 minutes to get fixed.
Went to the cashier ask for the 20 minutes that we lost and he gave us just 10 minutes more.

Good price, quality installation. Disco section with music, blacklights and stage lighting is fun.

Laurentian Lanes is one of the most happening places in Montreal. It’s a must visit if you are a bowling fan and you are in Montreal even for a short time. It’s a fairly priced alley and you could have an awesome time alone or with friends. You have good food and drinks options.

It's bowling right? So it's necessarily fun + it's in a retro environment (specially at night)!

However customer service is terrible, the staff don't seem to know what to do half of the time and seem like they rather be anywhere else but there the other half. The machines get stuck seemingly often (fair, they're pretty old), but getting someone to help you out in a timely manner will be a challenge

Never tried the food, but looks like your run of the mill hotdogs, hamburgers, smoked meat sandwiches and the likes: not really my jam, but it is what it is!

All in all, I'd look someplace else if you regularly bowl, but it's just fine for the occasional bowler like myself.

Great bowling alley with small and big pins. The alley is well maintained and clean. My daughter played bowling for the first time there and had a blast. There is a corner with arcade games and a Lester deli on site. They have a large free parking lot. I highly recommend a trip there.

Vraiment beaucoup d'allées de quilles. Une section "party". Ambiance amusante. Salle de jeux. La meilleure place pour cette activité famille ou entre amis.

Hard to access if you have no car.small arcade.disco bowling theme. Overall very fun.just expect your uber to not find the place.

Probably the cleanest and best maintained bowling alley in Montreal. I really do like how the incorporate their history through pictures, art, etc. Looks like they are up to date with the new tech. Overall a very good place for family outings.highly recommend

The bowling itself was great.
The restaurant was lovely and yummy.
The bar was perfect.

The ladies behind the cash at the front, were horrible.

I don’t understand. I stood at the front of the line, face to face with two cashiers (who I determined must have been swapping their cash out for a shift change)
No one said a word to me and I stood there waiting patiently for nearly 10 minutes. Eventually one of the employees took my money. I had asked for an hour of bowling and a pair of shoes. To my surprise after my first game, the session ended. So another 5 min of standing at the front of the line, I was scolded for not having been more clear about what I wanted.

Umm okay? (I was clear)

Now the “leagues would be coming in” (in an hour) “so you don’t have time to play an hour” (okay this is why I came in at the inconvenient time of 4: 30, so I COULD get an hour in before the leagues). Anyway I digress.

I now have to pay the full price for 45 minutes of bowling and they wouldn’t even refund, or subtract the cost of the single game I didn’t ask for, off that price. So I am just left wondering why the business is being run this way?

Never has availability for walk ins.
Join a league or call in advance to see if they have lanes available before going.

If you get a lane it is a great bowling alley.

A bowling alley like as by other. They have recently upgraded their game equipments. Fun for the whole family. Suitable for kids birthdays

Went here on a long layover at YUL. Great time! They have duck pins and regular bowling. It is the cleanest bowling alley I ever seen! Staff was nice. About 14 cad each way via Uber. Highly reccomend!

Nice and modern. Prices are reasonable the the technology and mini games within the score screens are some of the latest. I would agree with others that the balls are oily however everything else from the restaurant to the service is more than reasonable.

Had a blast of a good time. The ambience is great.you can bowl in the dark with disco lights and loud music or you can bowl on the other side where its quiet.your choice n there is a Lester's smoked meat restaurant in the bowling alley

Not a big selection of food for a party. There is no pizza, which would be practical for a child's birthday party.
I spent over a hundred dollars in food and drinks, however when I went back for a cup I was yelled at by the cashier "those are our cups"
You can only purchase from there so I'm not sure what else I'd be using the cups for.unfortunate. I put "their" cup back

Make sure there's no league bowling taking up all the lanes. Otherwise great time and fair prices. Bring cash

Best bowling place in Montreal. Monday evening (March 2) the place was fully packed (Monday $3/game special). Employees were supper busy but trying their best to help everyone. The maintenance guy was the nicest person ever, and he gave us tips how to enable the gard rail for my 7 years old daughter so the ball don't end up in on the side most of the time - thus encourage her to play, learn, and enjoy bowling. Also he was like supper hero going back of the lane to un-jam the machines.
If I had to hire a Head of customer service I would have hired him in a heart bit, he sure will bring every customer back. Also free plenty of parking.
Will be going back on the weekend before school break is over.
Only suggestion on busy times, may be need 1-2 more employees, because I felt they were working too hard.

Love this place! Very good bowling alley, lanes are always well kept machines are always worming. Staff is friendly and fast. The place is huge they have league games there lockers for balls and shoes. Rental for shoes, also for birthday parties they have spaces an arcade. Along with a fast food restaurant serving bell pro style food, hot dogs, burgers, fries and poutine. Plus a bar that big as all, that serves you at your lane!

This is the best bowling place in the city.
They have a lot of lanes so even during busy times you’ll probably have no issue getting a lane.
It’s very well maintained compared to other bowling places I have visited.
I’m not too sure about the pricing, we paid 13 dollars each player (6 of us) for two games. I don’t know if it would have been cheaper if we paid per hour or not but it was very affordable. Shoe rental was included in the price. Keep in mind it’s a cash only place.
The food was good. Nothing to write home about but you’ll be satisfied with the choices.
There’s also an arcade.
There is lots of parking on site, there are lockers you can rent to put your stuff, they also sell lottery tickets.

There’s a tablet for every lane that you can use to input your names and even modify scores. There are also options to play various games that have funny animations and selfies. It adds a little something extra from the monotony of waiting around for your turn when you’re a big group. You’re then sent an email of your scoresheet and some pictures.

The service was phenomenally good. We had a few mixups with our game because most of us never bowled before and the cashier (I think her name was Annie, that’s what was written on our receipt) cake and fixed everything up for us.

Great place for small and large groups, you won’t be disappointed with this place it’s amazing. I highly recommend it. And I don’t say that often, read my other reviews.

Lots of lanes, lots of families enjoying themselves. Eat before you go. Place has barely changed in decades.

The place was WONDERFUL, the place is very clean, the bathroom, the restaurant, BUT, the balls were really really oily, so is the floor. The service was also nice

Very nice and modern bowling place. Soo far the best one ive been to in Montreal or its surroundings. Just to give ppl a heads up since this place is top knotch, it gets packed very quickly soo dont be disapointed if all the isles are taken. Surprisingly there prices are decent and competitive aswell as they offer some cosmo nights with disco lights: P they have the most updated systems on ipads also i was stunned. To finish, gd job to the owner of this place hope he can still make it profitable for him self aswell.

Clean, lovely staff, tiny bathrooms but the lanes are flawless, and the people are nice! And they make a wicked burger!

If you're going bowling in Montreal, this is the place to go. A truly authentic bowling atmosphere! Friendly and helpful staff!

People are nice and place is clean. There's a Lester's Deli when you're hungry and a bar when you're thirsty. What more can Lebowski ask for?

Bad place to have fun long wait times if your lane brakes down you still get timed so never stepping a foot in here again

Great classical bowling alley. Lots of free parking. Rent shoes here, of course. Tall and short pins, big and small balls. If you need them, they have side bumpers that raise up and block the gutters, no gutter balls. Great for a gang of young ones, or beer ball. Food and drinks are available. Lesters deli has the resturant. Great combos. Lanes are smooth. They do partys. Lots of lanes. Free wifi! They will email you your scores. Lots of fun for an hour, and easy to add another round if the gang is having fun. Its easy, cheap entertainment that doesnt take too long, unless you want to. And for those too young to roll the bal, use the big red plastic dragon ramps.

The bowling place in general was really nice! But the staff were not friendly at all. Especially the guy who gives the shoes had a negative attitude towards the customers. Other than the staff, the place is good.

Le seul endroit sur l'île pour la qualité des allées de grosse quilles. Quelques allées de petites quilles comme partout ailleurs. Ambiance de party éviter les soir de fin de semaine pour les joueurs serieux.

Great place to unwind with friends and family. Does not matter if you go here as a pair and play one-on-one. Caters to groups and parties. They have a convenient food place (Lester's). Simple and straightforward menu, not to mention the bar. I recommend this place to groups and families. Birthdays and corporate events such as team building. Good ice breaker and an excellent way to get everyone talking and have a good time. They are open early and they close quite late.

Honestly speaking, this place is excellent to hang out. The lady at the cashier was NOT FRIENDLY at all, very unpleasant first experience. And only cash, for 2019.really? Other than those 2 annoying things, we would come back here again.

I go there occasionally for lunch for a quick bite. Food is well priced and everything they serve is fresh, hot and well prepared. Service is always great too. If you go at lunch just ask for Penny and she will treat you like a king.

Don't tell me the is an ATM machine that will cost me $6 to take $20 out.
