Like my university resident, make me feel i am back to school. Good locations and no service (i don't need it in this price actually) I will come back if I visit Quebec again

A little far out of town but the room was great and they allowed us to leave our luggage there even though it was before check in time.

C'est idéalement placé et pas très onéreux.
Tout à fait suffisant pour passer une nuit.
Un parking est aussi à dispo mais pas de réservation possible de la place.
Un mini market se trouve a Deux pas.

The rooms are amazing, clean, and cozy. The room has a coffee machine, dishwasher and everything necessary for a long stay. The access to the building is easy and secure. The location is great. The owner was very kind and understanding as me and my boyfriend locked ourselves out of the room. He was very quick to arrive and open us the door. The TV in rooms have Netflx, YouTube, Amazon Prime. I highly recommend staying at Le Bloc whenever you visit Quebec City. I am definitely coming back.

Positives: Good location within reasonable walking distance of Old Quebec. We had easy access to a grocery store and pharmacy, along with many restaurants. The room was small (felt like a dorm, which I suppose makes sense as this is a converted monastery), but the kitchenette was useful for our four night stay. On-site parking was convenient and never full during our (off- season) stay. The room had a heat pump and the windows fully opened, allowing for decent ventilation and a comfortable temperature. Hotel was responsive to our inquiries within a reasonable timeframe, considering all correspondence was by email.
Negatives: Bed was super uncomfortable for two - it felt worn or just too soft. We both kept sliding off the sides at night so neither of us slept well.: (Air felt staid in the hallways and lobby, which made me a bit nervous from a covid-safety perspective. Water pressure wasn't great.
Overall: It's a safe, well-located and reasonably-priced place to rest your head at night while you visit Old Quebec or other parts of the city. Beware if you require firmer mattresses.

Dès notre 1ere visite, nous avons été charmés par l'endroit; sobre, épuré, surtout très confortable, tout a été choisi avec goût et la nature est omniprésente dans toute la décoration. Situé près du Vieux Québec, épicerie à 2 minutes à pied, on peut y travailler, et manger sur place; bref tout y est pour séjourner même quelques jours et à prix raisonnable en plus. Nous avons adopté cet hôtel pour nos séjours à Québec. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

The rooms were comfortable. There's no service to speak of as it's a manual check-in. But the correspondence was prompt, clear and concise. Just a 8 min walk to the centre of Old Quebec City shopping/restaurant precinct

Chambre spacieuse et pratique avec lave vaisselle, micro onde, cafetière. Rénové au goût du jour. Entrée autonome, fonctionne super bien. J'y retournerais sans hésiter pour un long séjour.

Chouette weekend dans un appartement du Bloc. Un peu de marche pour se rendre dans le Vieux Québec mais ça reste raisonnable. Le quartier est sympa et on peut flâner jusqu'au parc des Plaines d'Abraham!
L'appartement est propre et bien équipé, parfait pour ce type de séjour urbain.

Great, comfortable bed! Great shower and water pressure! Very quiet for a good night’s rest. Well equipped kitchen. Close to two grocery stores. Close to bus stops, restaurants and cafés. We took Bus 800 to the waterfall and other busses to the old city. Would definitely stay there again! Bon voyage!

Convenient location for us, clean room, comfortable bed.
Downside. Kuerig machine didn’t work, air conditioning unit squeaked annoyingly constantly and we took two short showers (no more than 5 minutes each) and ran out of hot water near the end of the second shower. Next time we’ll look for a different place.

5e nuits non consécutivement au Bloc et je recommande les yeux fermés! La propreté est sur la coche, les lofts sont spacieux, épurés et chic avec un côté champêtre. Nous continuerons de descendre ici à chaque passage à Québec! Merci à Raquel et Marie-Eve!

La propreté des chambres est super, belles commodités très pratique (lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, petit four). Le seul bémol est le tapis dans la chambre, en 2022, je crois que nous pourrions avoir des alternatives plus faciles question propreté et allergies. Je recommande!

Bien situé, le vieux Québec accessible à pied, idem pour le centre ville.

Had a great experience. Very clean and safe. Super close to a lot of cool restaurants and shops. I couldn’t have asked for a better location. 20 min. Walk to old Quebec. We didn’t have any issues finding parking but there are limited spots.

Stayed at Le Bloc for 2 nights. Generally a really good experience.
Pros:
1. Really cost-effective: Given the cost of the booking, the room size and decoration are out of my expectation.
2. Quiet: nearby community is quiet which provides a good sleeping environment.
3. Free parking.
4. Quick check-in and check-out (High tech compared with people)
5. Convenience store nearby
Cons:
1.20 mins walk to the Quebec old town - it's a littlie far (think that's why it's quiet)
2. Hard to connect to the owner- I tried to call them, but some pre-recorded French from the other side (I only speak English)

Second time that we stayed here! It’s always nice and easy to check in and check out. So peaceful and the concept is amazing.

La chambre était correct mais les murs sont mal isolé et il est facile d'entendre la tv du voisin rendu à 2h30 pendant la nuit. Tout cela avec aucun personnel à qui se plaindre.

It is located very close to old Quebec. You can find grocery store just in 4 mins by walking. Rooms are comfortable. Complimentary coffee is served. Washroom has 2sets towel. Shower water pressure is good. Only my concern is slipper. I wish they had slipper for guest as well

Easy in And easy out, everything in between was easy! The only little thing I would change is the open unsecured wifi, but other than that, what a nice spot at a great location. Would go back and recommend 100%.
