Very nice place to stay if you are visiting Montreal. It's in a relatively quiet neighborhood near a metro stop, which was very convenient. Robert, our host, was able to accommodate us arriving a little late, and gave us great tips for what to do and see in the city.

Le Cartier B&B was the perfect base for exploring Montreal. The room was very clean and comfortable. Access to the outdoor courtyard was lovely for eating our breakfast. The breakfast was more DIY than most B&Bs as it was basic yogurt, packaged muffins, toast, bagels, make-it-yourself coffee, and cereal. If you are expecting a gourmet breakfast, you will be disappointed. BUT, the location is A+! The metro is half a block away. Restaurants on Ste Catherine St.were great. The neighborhood has a very funky vibe with plenty of pride flags and people having fun.

Upon arrival the owner sat down with us to go though the map of the city, explaining the best way to get to all the sights, and gave wonderful advice on where to go. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of staying here for the long weekend and it was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Super close to the village and walkable from parc jean drapeau which came in handy. Richard and Scott are both super friendly and humourous. They've got great suggestions of places to visit around Montreal and the breakfast pastries were always delicious! Hopefully I will be back soon!

Very quilt, clean and comfortable. Richard is very kind and told us a lot about Montréal’s tour attractions.

A very cosy, comfortable and well-equiped apartment in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance the Metro Station and local bars/restaurants. The host is amazing and very hospitable. Highly recommended!

I've been staying here every year for the last 10 or so years, and always love it. Top tier, and affordable as well!

This is the third time I've stayed at Le Cartier B&B. Location is great near Papinaeu Station and other amenities. The suites and apartment are fantastic for getaways. Comfortable and convenient. The owners, JC and Richard, are great. Scott helps them take care of cleaning and anything you need. Richard is a wealth of information about Montreal especially the best places to eat out.
Breakfast for us was self-serve continental with cereals, pastries, breads/bagels, fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea, etc. I vastly prefer this over a traditional B&B.

Le Cartier B&B is now my only place to stay in Montreal. Highly recommend.

It was okay. Facilities were what you’d expect at a Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast was alright, you’d get a coupon for a coffee shop around the corner which was never an issue. Wi-fi was also very good, and location was ideal and close to Sainte-Catherine St.

Our issues were:
- the wood below the pillows on the bed made for an uncomfortable night, and we both came away with sore necks.
- the channels available on the TV were very limited - ironic since the CTV/RDS offices are across the road
- despite telling the owner at check-in that we’d been to Montreal before (I’d worked there the previous summer), he insisted on spending over 20 minutes talking about the city. This was frustrating as we had somewhere to be.
- on our second day, the Bed & Breakfast had an inspection of some kind - the exact details, i’m not too sure of. We were asked to leave by 2pm by one of the owners, which was very reasonable, and so we arranged to be picked up by family at 1pm. However, another owner knocked on our door at 12pm and told us we had to leave at that moment. This meant we had to wait outside the building on the road (in the 28c heat too) for the family to pick us up for close to an hour. This for us ruined our stay at the bed & breakfast.
