Looking for a hip community collective space to host events? I attended an Astrology workshop by my wonderful friend Sofia @themillenialoracle. All the Astro peeps at the event were SO knowledgeable and welcoming! Can’t wait to attend the next workshop since I know NOTHING and am Astro curious! Bonus highlights of the night were finding a single stall washroom with condoms & sterile syringes.if you need a single stall washroom downtown, hit up Le frigo vert!

This place is a kind and generous option if you are a hungry student! The food baskets are a no-questions-asked way of surviving. Give back when you can!

Happily picked up the last food basket of the semester. They forgot to give basmati rice unfortunately.lol Very nice organic eco-friendly co-op kind of store though. Deserves lots of encouragement.

I was so grateful to get the food basic a few times the past few months. They were always full of delicious stuff like coffee, tempeh, milk, oats, sugar, and more.

I love Le Frigo Vert. The people who organize and take part in its maintenance are very welcoming and kind. The products are great for people of all diets while collected/dispersed sustainably.

The food basket is pay that you can from 0 to it’s market value $70. Two of their staffs really impressed me, super nice. The brown girl was respectful and she looks kind. The the white 50ish guy was calm, always greet and chit chat with clients with smile. I saw someone donating $60 and when someone poor doesn’t donate, they are nice as still. I was so grateful to have access to food baskets.

Employees could definitely be much nicer and approachable.
I can’t help but feel that every time I’m interacting with them at the cash, it’s as if I’m wasting their precious time.
Even the nearby for-profit cafe treats people nicer.
It’s unfortunate because this most likely
will be a lot of university students’ first time participating in an anti-capitalist food cooperative store, so first impressions definitely count.

Nice place. Chill vibes. Great place to find some delicious vegan snacks.
I never really do grocery's here i just hit the snacks table, and they have a damn good and flavourful selection of vegan food!
However, unfortunate store hours. But i figure it's because they're probably adjusted to student hours.

Extremely disappointing! They told me we're closed when I went there in the afternoon (during the opening hours) while the staff were still there and some people were apparently shopping! Please change the opening hours on your website and on your door! Also mention it's open for specific people not for the public!

Great concept, good food, and good music selection even, but the saddest people on earth work there. Maybe they've been bad students and are forced to work there for free, who knows. So go grab a snack, but don't stay or waste your smile, it won't be reciprocated.

L'endroit semblait assez chaleureux et accueillant au début jusqu'à ce que je tombe sur des employés extraordinairement impolis (le gars asiatique & la fille avec la frange) qui me donnaient l'impression que je les dérangeais quand je voulais leur poser une simple question. Aucun sourire, aucun bonjour. Cette journée-là il y avait aussi une femme qui travaillait avec le gars (celle avec les cheveux bruns longs et une frange) ; elle était également très impolie et me regardait d'un oeil dédaigneux. Sélection très normale et acceptable de produits mais service à la clientèle pourri.je vous conseille de dépenser votre argent ailleurs.
