Great hotel in a great location! Rooms have lots of space and are very clean. You can find shops around the area and the metro station is 5 minutes walk. Rooms were quite as well. Appreciated the AC in the room, the iron and iron board and extra hangers in the closet. Staff were really nice and breakfast (continental style) was really nice and clean set up. Really recommend this hotel for anyone that needs to stay in the centre of Montreal!

I stayed here 4 days for a work trip, and really enjoyed it! Centrally located and a short walk to the metro station makes it a very convenient location. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had an initial issue with the room which they fixed promptly and without hassle. Rooms are of a good side with thoughtful amenities, including lighted mirrors, Nespresso machine and a great desk area. Thanks for the great stay!

Stayed here for Osheaga 2023. Very friendly staff. Amazing location. 3 minutes walk to metro station. Bed was unbelievable very comfortable. Rooms were clean and tidy. 10/10 recommend if your looking for a good place to stay in downtown Montreal for a good rate

We had a great night at the SENS hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The junior suite room had lots of space, clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable too. Parking was full which we had to walk about 5-7 mins away to leave our car. Lots of food spots within walking distance.

Très déçu. écoutez bien cela: un valet égratigne ma voiture. Un autre jour, on vient cogner à notre chambre au matin alors que nous avions spécifié un départ tardif de plus la carte ne pas déranger était sur la porte (imaginer notre surprise) mais la cerise sur le sundae revient au personnel de la réception qui ose nous quémander un pourboire en disant qu'il a des enfants et que c'est Noël. Il me semble qu'un pourboire se mérite non? De plus il est vrai que la propreté de la chambre laissait à désirer marques au plancher (2 gros ronds bruns sur du tapis) des marques sur le lit c'est très surprenant pour un endroit 4 étoiles. Je ne crois pas que je retournerai à cet hôtel.

We started off the stay with some disappointment but after Fouad at main reception listened and connected me to Cynthia the manager, we were taken care of and they definitely made our stay special. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We made a reservation through the day use app and when the day came to check in the lady at the counter informed us that our reservation was not in their system, EVEN THOUGH I called the day prior our arrival to confirm our room. When we got there the receptionist told us to wait 15mins, 15mins soon became an hour. We got there october 13th at 10am, had to wait for them to clean out a room and We finally got a hotel room at 11: 07am and to top it off the access cards weren’t working. The receptionist didn’t even offer anything to compensation for our wait or for their error, we didn’t even get an apology! PLUS, the phone in there didn’t work. Very very poor costumer service for a 4star hotel. STAY AWAYYYY

If you're going to stay somewhere for one night only, this is truly worth it (highlighting the bed because I LOVE SLEEP)!

Terrible rooms and slow service. Expensive rate, expected better but was severely disappointed.

The rooms look great on the photos but are of low quality in reality. The fixtures and fittings are dated and falling apart. Drawers did not close.

The rooms are not clean.

Aircon didn't work for us.

Had to change rooms but overall still very disappointed with the whole experience.

This hotel is great and I especially want to appreciate the staff who go above and beyond to make their guest comfortable. Cynthia P and her front desk staff were incredible! It’s my first time at this hotel and I’m traveling from Ontario, I would definitely come here again! It’s clean and and perfect for business or or a fun weekend.

Top notch! Loved this hotel and all of the staff we encountered, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were super clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable! The valet parking was great, the staff for the parking were wonderful.
Quite often it's the little things that make a stay great, from free bottles of water after a day In the sun, to wishing us a good day/evening (even remembering our preferred language) and carrying our bags to the car. Would certainly recommend this hotel, just make sure you're up for some walking down into old Montreal (or catch the Metro but then you miss all the sights!)

I recently spent a weekend in the centrally located hotel in Montreal. The check in was pleasant and quick. The valet parking staff were prompt when I called for the car. I did however have to educate the drivers not to mess with the mirrors and seats as they had done. Especially the shorter of the drivers. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. The bathrooms were large, well lighted, and with good water pressure. The coffee maker was well stocked. The closet however was very small for all I had to hang there. I did finds the hallway very hot and the time to get an elevator far too long. On the second night the air conditioned stopped working and the next day another room was provided with compensation. This is what you would expect at a hotel of this level. The hotel does have a bar and breakfast buffet but nothing in terms of a full out proper restaurant for dining. Being centrally located, you wont find it a problem finding dining at every level and budget within walking distant of the hotel. Shopping as well is within walking distance. The night manager was polite and did all she could to handle a bad situation. The General Manager, when he arrived on the Monday I checked out was apologetic and carried himself with professionalism and class. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

It was our second time at this hotel and since the second time is often the test, I am happy to write this positive review. The beds are quite nice but the pillows are really comfortable. The rooms are clean and modern and the shower is neat. I would have enjoyed that they prepare in advance the amount of towels as the number of guests in the room but I understand that they are also short of maintenance staff. Front desk employees are really helpful and polite. We will definitely return.

I spent 2 nights in Le Meridian as a guest of university of Montreal. The room was clean and comfortable. But as someone being in tourism industry over a decade, I can say that the hotel management lacks a genuine respect to guests comfort. My credit card got charged for the total days of my stay in spite of the fact that my room was paid by the university, and I wasn't informed that the deposit equals with the total bill, we were told that it is "only only for the room security", then when I found out and asked, the receptionist employee told us it is the way system works, it "randomly" charges people! " I'd say a genuine transparent explanation would be much nicer than assuming your customers lack a minimum IQ. The mini bars n our rooms were all empty (We were already informed that we should pay for it, but the hotel decided to not take any headache of checking the minibar at check out and go to the simple solution of keep the empty, very disrespectful attitude to the gusset). I also missed a piece of clothing in the room and when I got back to pick it up I was told that the house-keeper locked the lost and found space and has taken the key. For a 4-star hotel, this is a sign of mis-management because access to lost and found shooed be possible any time of the day, for a designated person from the reception. That's one of the earliest rule that a one learns once working in hotel management and it is surprising that a 4-star hotel manager wouldn't know that.
I strongly advise anyone who wants to stay in Montreal, to think about a local name hotel as opposed to franchise, you would revive a more genuine service, respectful attitude and help in case something like this happen.

The service is phenomenal, the valet is quick, the people are helpful and think of your question and needs before you even ask them! Location is pretty close to the Eastern Asian part of town and you can find a great mix of authentic restaurants. Room is a little small, doesn't have a lot of electrical outlets but otherwise is very good.

Les chambres étaient super et très belle. Le personnel était sympa et agréable.

Cependant le déjeuner était médiocre, les choix étaient extrêmement limité et quand un ingrédients n'était plus sur le buffet les clients devaient en informer les serveurs qui étaient juste à côté plantés comme des piquets. Aussi tous les jours ils ont essayé de nous faire payer le déjeuner alors que c'était inclut dans la chambre.

De plus le Valet ne voulait pas conduire notre voiture alors qu'on avait payés pour, il voulait absolument conduire nos valises et nous disaient de déplacer notre voiture? Aussi quand on a retrouvé notre voiture certains paramètres comme la climatisation étaient changé et l'intérieur de la voiture était un peu sale ce qui nous fait penser qu'il a utiliser notre voiture.

La localisation est très bien pour des évènements au centre de Montréal. Cependant, le prix des chambres et les prestations ne sont pas en adéquations avec un hôtel dit 4 étoiles. La chambre que nous avions faisait manque de propreté: vitres sales (malgré une vue appréciable), humidité et odeur d'humidité dans la chambre, air climatisé ne fonctionnant pas, poussière sur les meubles, détecteur de fumée presque décroché de son support (sécuritaire?). De plus, le réveil par les agents de ménage frappant à notre porte a été très déplaisant pour notre tranquilité à l'hôtel. Le prix du petit déjeuné est élevé alors qu'à mon sens à ce prix pour une chambre et un 4 étoiles il devrait être compris. Une seule bouteille d'eau dans la chambre pour un séjour de deux personnes, aucune machine à café à disposition dans la chambre, pas de sèche cheveux, une seule serviette de bain par personne. Les commodités sont très limités à mon avis et pas approprié pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Chambre très basique pour le prix en grandeurs et en accessoire, service de chambre qui cogne à 9h le matin et te réveille quand le check out est à midi personnellement.très ordinaire

Tout était correct jusqu'à ce qu'ils prennent 50$ de plus que prévu alors que j'ai laissé ma chambre impeccable.

My family and I recently stayed at Le Meridien Versailles in Montréal (2 pups included) and I don’t feel like I can adequately express how amazing the staff is at this location. We arrived in Montréal from the States and had to find a hotel because there was a problem with our usual accommodations. The staff really took care of us, they were so kind and accommodating (shout out to Eileen). It’s well located, the rooms were spacious, well appointed, impeccably clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. The wifi was great and there are plenty of outlets. They have free coffee in the morning. The staff made a difficult time for us easier and we were all grateful to them for that. We highly recommend Le Meridien Versailles.

I loved hotel, very clean and comfortable.they were also always there if I ever needed anything!

The services are good though, the people are friendly and helpful if need be. The room is adequately big, clean. It has a funky design. I absolutely loved the 50-ish wake-up alarm setting. On the negative side the bathroom is a bit small, the kitchenette is not that well equipped, no minibar but that is probably due to covid regulations. A bit noisy, one can hear the people in the other rooms sometimes.

First impression was great. Greeted by very friendly staff and carried on short conversation as I checked in. One of the few hotels in Montréal that I could find who allow pets; although, I did not end up bringing one. The lack of free parking was disappointing.

The room was nice. The bed was too soft for my liking, but still comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic. The antifog mirror was great for someone who likes very hot showers. The warm tiles ment no cold feet. I appreciated that the shampoo, soap, etc.was vegan and cruelty-free.

Overall, great experience. Would definitely return.

Great hotel great location good price have stayed here many many times. And a special shout out to Robert the front door staff for making us feel right at home. And don't want to forget the all the staff front desk as well thanks for all your help always.

Stayed one higher here. Arrived and checked in, unfortunately my room was not made up from the previous guests.

Went downstairs, brought this up to the person at the desk, and she was horrifyed to hear this, she apologize profusely and upgraded me.

It wasn't really that bit of a deal sometimes these things happen, but she took care of it immediately.

Overall the hotel is nice, the valet parking is a nice feature.

The room was spacious with a nice bed and modern furniture.

I would say here again.

Des employés intentionnés, service impeccable, bien situé et je tiens à donner 5 étoiles et plus à Robert et André (valet parking mais bien plus, des renseignements et du service comme du jamais vu) tous étaient à notre écoute! Restaurant de l’Hôtel Méridien, à ma dernière journée avec le froid! Très très excellent! Merci en passant sur la rue Guy la bonne bouffe et naturellement à ma fille qui m’a amené au Simons avec des restaurants au centre! Et m’a guidé et conduis à mon rendez-vous à l’Hôpital, elle connaît où elle va! Mon ange! Merci au Centre des beaux Arts qui m’ont accueilli bien geler! Encouragez Montréal et aux femmes de chambres qui sont aussi impeccables et aux réceptionnistes! Merci la vie! 5 étoiles

The only great service we got came from our fantastic concierge who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and attended to at all times- everything else about our experience was 3 star. The staff would repeatedly ignore our requests to have our room cleaned for 4 days in a row; the room smelled stuffy and of BO when we arrived as though it hadn’t been deep cleaned in years; the bed felt unhygienic considering the duvet had no casing and kept getting exposed (I’m not sure the inner duvet gets washed!), the loud ice machine buzzing on our floor kept us awake at night. I really can’t understand why the hotel is priced and rated as a 4 star.

Not recommended.
No Parking. You need to get their valet.
No breakfast. They give you ‘grab n go’ as they call it. For which, you will be asked your room # upon entry to the restaurant and then specifically given the # of food packs per member. Food pack includes (1oj, 1sml yogurt, 1 apple & 1 packaged croissant) they look like from dollar store or any grocery store. Coffee will be there.

They won’t give you more than 2 drinking water bottles per day per room. YES, no more than 2 small bottles!

When asked explanation of why so? The staff was adamant that its hotel policy. Asked to show them where it reflects in Bonvoyy Mariott? No answer from the staff.
I had to be adamant to seek my self the needed extra water bottles. Ridiculous!

Mariott Should Not be listing such a hotel.

P. S some staff is really kind but rare to find. Aggressive approach seen.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, if not at least the best in Montreal. Stayed here with my husband and 2 friends. Amazing value, clean rooms, great location. The front desk staff were so sweet and welcoming and attentive. Amazing service all around especially the concierge valet dude Cedric. He was attentive, enthusiastic, funny, and his service was top notch, above and beyond. He had a coworker concierge who was also really awesome and had the same great energy but we did not get to work with the other guy as much, it was mainly Cedric for us.

I am rarely the kind to stay at the same hotel again but this is one of the few places I will stay again the next time I come to Montreal. Even just to say hi to Cedric.

The only cons (which I won’t dock stars for because this place is just that awesome) are the fact the card keys get easily demagnetized if you put near your phone, our room’s AC and heating unit made some weird noises some times, and the hotel bar/restaurant has weird hours and was never open when we wanted to use it!

Elevator was out of service our entire stay and when we ordered room service, they charged us a $30 tip that we didn't authorize plus the items off the menu were priced higher on the receipt.when I inquired, they stated they won't be refunding since I signed for it, total scam.

Super happy with my stay. All of the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to shopping, museums, restaurants, McGill University, etc. This is an older hotel, which is part of its charm. I would stay here again!

Enjoyed my staycation at this lovely hotel, located conveniently in the heart of DT. Spacious, modern clean rooms and staff especially Roy was very professional and accommodating.

Nice rooms, hotel in an ideal location and very close to public transit, a few blocks from the airport express bus. Breakfast service was a little disjointed.running hot and cold.

The nice hotel with a great location in the heart of Montreal downtown. The room was also clean with enough space. Three stars were only due to poor customer services espacially when I checked out they charged me extra for mini bar, which I never used. I even sent them an email, where I didn't even get a response. Called and they said they will refund the money, but never refunded, so customer services is really poor.

These room costs are simply absurd, surely considering an unexpected (noisy and dirty!) renovation. More than two weeks without any interest to listen, not even apologies for the ongoing works at the reception. If they would not have taken immediately the entire sum I would have moved to the Ritz, the latter is strongly recommended

Nice and clean spacious rooms (larger than averge), close to Guy-Concordia subway station, close to many resturants and cafe and the very lovely Concordia quarter. So, location wise it's fantastic. The room was equipped with mini bar fridge, iron. The lobby is a bit small and not very attractive. Also I didn't like the idea of offering guests "only" one free coffee at the bar. Most hotels (and abnbs) nowadays provide coffee machines inside each room and unlimited coffee and tea supply. This is the industry standard these days and Le meridien should love up to that standard. Also they have very limited parking spots, make sure you call them and make sure they have a parking spot reserved for you. Otherwise, you can find free street parking around the area, just pay attention at the signs.

When it was determined that the AC unit in my room was not working, the Manager found me another room, despite the fact that the hotel was sold out owing, in part, to the Montréal Jazz Festival. I'm grateful to him for his help.

Unimpressed with the lack of coffee. Nothing in the room and you have to use a token to get a coffee from the lounge at specific times. Not ideal.

I was at the hotel for 3 nights. I had NO hot water the first morning and when I reported this to the front desk was advised it would be remedied that day. When I returned that evening no hot water and same for day 2 and day 3. Was never offered an alternate room. Heard from another guest they took had no hot water. Barely lukewarm at best so perhaps no rooms actually have hot water. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Great boutique hotel feeling even though it's part of the Marriott family. No sign of the "big" brand in the background. Great rooms, chic feel. Great staff. WiFi seems weak and flakey, hence the 4 stars. Would book again

Cute boutique hotel with great staff and dining. Rooms come with 2 free espresso drinks daily (or drip coffee), which was great for relaxing and getting some energy to tour Montreal. Beautiful view of the hill top park (historic and like central park NYC). Well located, a few blocks off the main drag with shopping and restaurants galore.

I loved the hotel, the room, the food and the sraff was friendly. What I hated was that I was told they didn't have valet valet parking and the directed me to a public parking half a kilometre away (i measured it with my car) and it was pooring rain. That alone would have made me chose a differant hotel.

I only gave it one star because I can't give it -5 stars. Stay away. This hotel is a dump. We checked in and were shown to a dirty tired old room. We asked to change rooms and were taken to a room that was worse! We then went to a third room that seemed passable until we discovered bugs crawling in our bed! At midnight we left for another hotel, despite having a 7am meeting and having travelled most of the day to get here. Stay away, it is terrible.

We had a last minute reservation and the overnight reception staff, Xavier, helped us out! The valet parking was hard to find (tip: stop on the side of the building, don’t drive around behind). This is a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet neighbourhood and the lobby has a beautiful modern design. There is a 24hr convenience/grocery store a couple minute walk away. I only give 5 Stars for a knock-my-socks-off experience, but this was just a clean, comfortable, quiet stay. Also: we got 2 coupons for coffee at the lobby bar which we used for delicious espressos the next morning.

We took the penthouse that was on the 15th floor. The view was awesome and the furniture fitted really well with the room. They had 4k HDR TV's but without wifi connection on them so we weren't able to cast Netflix or even Plex (in 2019 thoses features are a must on any TV). On top of that. We've pushed the heating to 23 instead of 22 and the heater in the room was really loud in comparision to the one in the living room. It woke us up many times during our night. Service was really great and the staff were kind.
