Le Nouvel Hotel

Very nice hotel. All rooms are renovated and there is no carpet anymore. We had a condo which was large with a nice view. We ordered from the restaurant and it was very good. This is an excellent option if you go to the Bell Centre as it is only a short walk away. Great and helpful staff.

Looking for an honest review? You’ve found it. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past several years, each time with friends to go to a Leafs game when they are in town to play the Scabs. I just booked again for April 2024, and let me tell you why.

First and foremost, this place is in an excellent location. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Bell Center, which is likely visible outside your window. It’s a great way to get ready for the game (or a concert) giving you a nice short walk to finish a few “pops” if needed. I’ve been there various times for games as I’ve said, and never once have my friends or I had to cab or get an Uber. Bell Centre/shopping/“dancing”/restaurants etc you can do it all boots on the ground fellas. Nouvel Hotel is a great home base for a legendary weekend for the boys.

But guess what? I’d sure as heck take my family there and kids too if I had any. It’s not sketchy or loud etc, my friends and I (though the hotel is lenient and never stops us from having a good time) once got a noise complaint. Multiple. Why? Cause we were partying like animals and this hotel cares about their guests. Totally our fault, not theirs. Not sure why it’s priced so much cheaper than other hotels in that vicinity (don’t change!) but man the place is beautiful, the lobby will catch you off guard it’s so nice. Even if you have a picky significant other, they’ll like this place trust me. Very clean and nice.

There are hotels a bit closer to the Bell Center that are way more expensive. Why? Zero clue. I’ve been in various in the city (won’t use specific names) and Nouvel is just as good as any. Whether a trip to grind with the lads, or to get away with your boo, or even to bring your kids you should def stay here. Even has underground parking unlike most of those overpriced hotels where you gotta line up parking yourself via another party.

No I don’t work for this hotel lol. I’m from a small town in NB, and I appreciate how my annual trip always lives up to the hype, a big reason is because of this hotel. Seriously. Yeah I know I’ve alluded to the fact that my friends and I party, but I cannot overstate how comfortable I’d be to bring kids here.

See you folks in April, we will try to not get a noise complaint this time (though we probably will deserve one or two ;) )

We stayed at this hotel on our trip through Canada and we really liked it. The attention, especially, from Luis Ordoñez was very good, magnificent, very attentive and giving us good tips to make our stay in Montreal more pleasant. Thank you very much Luis Ordoñez for all your help!

Hotel is walking close to shopping and lots of dining choices. Not a bad walk to Old Montreal too. The only problem we had was no soap in the shower and that was fixed the next day. Bed was comfy after we got more pillows. The desk chair was taped together and uncomfortable though amd the sofa had stains. Would stay there again

This hotel is fantastic! The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The location is fantastic, close to restaurants and public transportation. The staff is excellent, and the service is first rate. My family and I would absolutely stay at le Nouvel Hotel again.

Worst hotel with worst service and staff, no water in the room-when asked they said that we are out of it for 2 days and you can consume tap water instead! No room cleaning, washrooms need maintenance as the pot doesnt flush anything and you have to hold it for 30 minutes staright to do it for you! No food service no brunch and rates are too high! Please please please go for another hotel, dont even think about this one, no one wants to spoil their staycation with these guys! Please beware!

Really bad service experience. Rude, mean front-desk service at night. Don’t talk to the elderly female receptionist at night. She won’t solve you any problem and will push pressure back to the customer. Probably racism if you are not white. The male manager is better if you want to solve any problem.

Great staff was friendly and helpful. The hotels vibe and atmosphere was luxurious but not over the top. Room was spacious and the bathroom had a fantastic shower setup.

La chambre était super mais le parking sous-terrain était horrible, l'antenne de notre voiture frottait au plafond et le 3/4 du parking était trop bas pour notre véhicule.

Great people and great service

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. We really enjoyed how spacious the rooms where and how clean they felt. We also appreciated Luis, who worked at the front desk. He showed us great service by allowing us to check-in early when he learned that our room was available. The hotel is also only a 5-10 minute walk away from the airport shuttle. Our only critique was the room could've been better soundproofed as we often heard the guest in the room beside us playing his bass guitar. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would consider coming again.

Hotel was clean, but the walls are thing heard a couple argue in the middle of the night. Convenient location close to everything

It's a surprisingly good hotel, it's one of those places where you go with low expectations and you end up being surprised by how good it is.it's not the Ritz, but for what you pay, it's very very good value for your money, we paid 380 for 2-nights last minute booking online, we went upstairs and the room was super clean and the furniture wasn't broken or old, all toiletries were there, great TV with streaming options (chromecast). View was good from the 3rd floor.the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.there's a little noise due to the hotel's location but overall would definitely recommend it.
