Endroit très sympa et chaleureux! Le personnel est très souriant! Je vous conseille le donut à la framboise, le cappuccino est très bon et vous avez droit à un petit dessin qui rajoute du charme

The pain au chocolat was not that great and the lady at the cash register was not very nice.when i talked to her in french she said “is that all” in a rude way.wouldn’t recommend

Wow the ambience of this place is really cute. I would recommend all the tourists to visit this place. It is next to Notre Dame so a good location too. Coffee + Croissant are must try

Decent spot with good coffee. Their operations a bit of a mess - workers are grumpy, don’t call out drinks, ignore if you tell them you’d like it for here.

Seul bémol le manque de sourire de notre serveuse. Pas de bonjour en rentrant et pas un mot sympa. Nous étions les premières clientes de la journée à 8h00. Attention les horaires sur Google ne sont pas à jour et lorsque nous l’avons dit à la serveuse gentiment pensant naïvement qu’ils ne savaient pas elle a répondu: « oui je sais mais comme on change d’horaires toutes les 3 semaines on ne va pas sans cesse mettre à jour sur internet » et tout ça d’un air pas sympathique du tout. Nous avons attendu une heure dehors suite à cette erreur sur internet car nous voulons absolument aller là et bien nous avons été déçues.

Not vegan but tried the vegan chia pudding. Was incredible and will try to get again during my stay in Montreal!

Don’t go with a laptop - There’s a ‘no computer’ rule. Wifi has a 30 min limit.
VERY touristy, to the point where a bride and groom started taking wedding photos inside. And I watched a lady act out “flavour pump” to the barista assuming he didn’t understand English lmao.
Despite being frustrated with the wifi & being asked to put my computer away, it is a very charming spot. The coffee was good and the baristas were kind.
Good spot for a comfy coffee chat or a quick bite.

Cute little shop, take a picture outside if you like but I wouldn't bother going in. None of the prices posted are the actual prices (got a macchiato, cortado, a cookie and a muffin. Tacked on an extra $2-3 on everything. $31. Several customers also did a double take on their bill). So buyers beware. Ask before you buy/order. Judging by the other reviews, this seems quite intentional. Times may be tough, but no need to be underhanded.

Winter. But they leave the door open. I'm guessing the owner or staff doesn't pay heat.

Understaffed. Takes 20min to get a hot drink.

Cozy and vibrant little coffee shop with friendly people. They have a a few vegan dessert options too, to go along with a good cup of coffee!

On sent le goût du partage et de la cordialité

Le lieu est très bien décoré
Et nous renvoie à une ambiance « comme à la maison »

Pour avoir tester plusieurs produits sur place … je dirais que je me suis régalée à chaque fois
Mention spéciale au cannelés qui me rappel fortement ceux de France

Je ne peux que conseiller de passer boire quelque chose de chaud en cette saison et d’aussi admirer les talents de la barista pour dessiner sur les chocolats

Beautiful to watch, but very very slow service. It takes more time standing up waiting to get your coffee than sit down and actually have it. And this is happening with only three people waiting in the line! The place was not even full.

Very cute and busy cafe! The flat white was delicious.the chocolate croissant was a bit dry. I like their cookie as well and soft serve.decor is sweet and a nice place to relax for a bit

Best food I had in Montreal! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich plus their oréo géant which was just phenomenal. Good price, good ambience, beautiful decor and peaceful upbeat music make this a great place to visit.

Exceptionally average bakery fare accompanied by exceptionally average service, with a hint of classic snobbery and arrogance. Also, the bathroom sink is broken.

Excellent coffee. Three days in stow got an iced coffee and mocha. Good selection of pastries to grab and go. One day we had a croissant and was chewy. That is why only 3 stars. Would give another chance.

We were intrigued by their funky exterior, and inside was just as funky. We loved it. Dirty Chai latte was great, oak milk makes it even better.

We went in November and found fabulous ornaments that we just had to buy.

Great cafe in the heart of old Montreal right opposite to Notre Dame basilica. Must try hot chocolate. They speak English too!:)

Voilà mon expérience dans ce dépanneur. Si vous êtes d'une ethnie non occidentale, je vous conseille vivement de ne pas y aller vous serez pris pour un voleur. Si vous voulez voyager en France et vous sentir pleinement jugé et méprisé par des personnes bêtes et méchantes qui ont un sérieux problème avec les personnes au teint différent vous êtes à l'endroit idéal. Quand comprendrez-vous que nous sommes au Québec, terre qui donne sa chance à tout le monde de manière égalitaire, et certainement pas en France, pays que tout le monde fuit?

Love the color of Le Petit Dep! A lovely place to have a coffee, ice cream, vegan sandwiches and more other foodies. There are small corners and tables where you can have your coffee or anything else you like!

Super cute and trendy, but sooo crowded inside & not enough seats (so you often need to sit next to grumpy strangers). A bit touristy, but oh well it's to be expected in one of MTL's most visited areas! Super close to metro station Place d'armes, hotels and touristic places.

This place is very cute, I’ve had their vegan cookies and little brownie and it’s super tasty! Love the vibe and their huge selection of sandwiches, but as a vegan, I find it incredibly infuriating that every time I come in to buy the vegan sandwich (which I’ve heard is very good, from other customers and the vegan staff alike), it is sold out. How is it that, in almost 10 visits, it is ALWAYS sold out? I’m hoping the management is able to listen to the clear demand and that the next time I come in looking for it, I don’t have to leave empty handed:)

A cute little coffee shop in Old Montreal woth a ton of charm. Great spot if you're loking for some Montreal themed xmas gifts. A nice break from the cold if you're walking arounf the area.

J'aime le petit Dep, je connaissais celui de la rue Saint Paul. Je suis donc rentré dans celui-ci en toute confiance. J'ai vu des petits insectes se balader sur le biscuit 3 chocolats que je voulais acheter. Je suis parti.bonne soirée et bonne continuation.

Went there for a gelato, but they did not have any, and we ended up buying ice cream from the machine. Kinda disappointed.

I like the look and feel of this cafe/convenience store/souvenir shop is great. Lots of detectable items to eat and drink in the front part of the store. It can get very crowded in there especially the table near the cafe tables. Very cool "Montreal-esque" quality souvenirs to delight! Glad to have found this ship near the Basilica.

Very nice place to grab a croissant or get a coffee, little tight seating but a nice bar area. Would go again!
