Not the typical 3-star hotel we’re expecting…
It’s a unit in the middle of residential area with a “hotel setup lower floor”.
Overall, the place was great! Once you entered the bedrooms, it does look and feel like a hotel room. Very clean, spacious and owner was very accommodating too.
Parking is on the side street. We were worried that we will not have a spot once we get home at night, but Marc made it work for us. It is a great place for someone who is not very picky and doesn’t mind parking their car on the side street.

Great owner operated small hotel. Marc is very genial and helpful. Room tidy and clean. Like access to kitchen area for tea in the morning. Marché Maisonneuve is close by and has delicious croissants, cheese, groceries. Circuit Électrique has easy to use DC fast chargers right at the market -awesome!

J'ai jamais vue un service a la clientèles aussi nul.je vous décommande fortement de même appel pour un renseignement vous risqué de passé une mauvaise journée par la suite.

J adore aller à cet endroit, l endroit est propre et accueillant. C'est du genre bed and breakfast mais il faut s apporter du lunch, nous avons tous accès à la cuisine et salon a air ouverte ainsi que les commodité

Le propriétaire est sympa mais l'ensemble a grand besoin de rénovation. Notre chambre faisait environ 10m2 + 2m2 pour la salle de bain. La tv est encore une tv cathodique, l'armoire est prise par le frigo, très peu de rangement. Obligé de faire une table de chevet avec la valise. Linge changé toutes les semaines par contre les poussières et les toiles sont présentes depuis longtemps!

Writing from Boston. Yes, the neighborhood and living room are a little sketchy. Still, of the five places I've stayed in Montreal, this was the best: a good choice for someone like myself, on a budget, who likes to read quietly, and relax, and have accommodations near the subway. (If you're as half-blind as I am, make sure you're familiar with the floor, as there are a couple of small steps in places you won't expect.) I plan to return when I can; I found it quite pleasant & comfortable.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire des lieux et arrangeant pour notre heure d'arrivée.
Notre chambre était très propre et très accueillante avec une douche et toilettes et air climatisé dans la chambre.
Le lit très confortable et correct pour 2.
Bien que la chambre donnait sur la rue, nous n'avons pas été dérangé par le bruit.
Le stationnement étant uniquement réservé aux résidents, il nous a fallu chercher une place plus haut dans la rue. L'entrée du métro est à proximité.
Prévoir son petit déjeuner car pour l'instant il n'est pas proposé.

Amazing experience in this place. Owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and our two dogs on last minute notice. Place was cozy, well kept and the price was amazing! Conveniently located right next to the metro and walking distance to the botanical gardens. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely be coming back if I visit Montreal

A cozy bed & breakfast in a convenient location, steps away from metro station. Host was gracious enough to provide last minute accommodation when we showed up with an extra person. Hospitable, clean, friendly. Will definitely keep La Sieur in mind for next time we visit! Thank you Marc!

Im gonna be honest this place was not the best when I visited, the place was not kept clean and looked like the people that had the room before me had only left 30 minutes prior to my arrival. The hotel didn't have the best of services but it was the best I could manage last minute.
