The most useless and worthless hotel. No one picks up the call at intercom. Parking is the worst. $40+tax. And not friendly at all. No plates. Plastic glasses. They have no idea what is happening around in the hotel. Staff is rude and would not recommend at all. Cheaper Airbnb’s are 20X better than this. Money wasted!

L'emplacement est parfait, les chambres sont correctes pour le prix, mais le service est exécrable.
J'ai malheureusement oublié un petit bagage dans la chambre après mon départ de Montréal et ils ont refusé de me l'envoyer même à mes frais, par la poste ou Expédibus.
Ça a tout pris pour qu'on me confirme en premier lieu qu'ils avaient bien retrouvé le sac et qu'ils l'avaient mis de côté à mon nom.
J'ai fini par trouver quelqu'un qui pouvait aller le chercher pour moi et me l'envoyer. Quand j'ai rappelé pour donner le nom de la personne qui viendrait le chercher, ils étaient encore incertains d'avoir mon sac quelque part.
Il faut toujours insister au téléphone pour parler au house keeping. On commence toujours en disant que personne n'est disponible, de rappeler plus tard ou qu'on ne peut rien faire pour le moment. Il a fallu que je rappelle deux fois pour avoir accès à une personne qui aurait l'information et pourrait me confirmer que je pouvais bien faire récupérer mon sac à la réception.

The worst place to stay. Front reception unorganized and always referring to manager for problems and he is never around. Rooms are very dirty and unclean. Pillow cases had stains, laundry not done properly. The hotel charges $45.99 / night for parking and there is never a spot to park. Don't waste your time at this hotel.

Payed parking $50 /night.

No pets allowed - not a problem

If you have a Service Animal - the Hotel wanted copies of the paperwork and then $75/ night for that service dog.

I had to leave my dog with a friend because I would have needed another $400 to have the dog with me. It was not in the budget for the trip.

This place is the most disgusting “hotel” I’ve ever been. It was so disgusting I decided to lose my money and go elsewhere, as they refused to give me a refund.

As soon as we arrived everything seemed dirty, there were graffiti’s inside the elevator! (And no the artistically nice ones, but the cheap marker ones). But the worst part was when we arrived to our room… it smelled like Febreeze trying to cover heavy cigarette smoke and there was still coffee brewed on the coffee machine. Walls scratched, stained carpet… AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Please save yourself money and time and go anywhere else, for what they’re asking you can find much better options.

We stayed in that room no more than 10 minutes until we realize it was not safe for us or our kid to stay there.

I spoke with the heavily underdressed front desk manager and even the hotel manager and it was not possible to make them understand how bad the situation was, so they refused to refund me.

On top of all this there flys on the lobby, spinets, the parking roof was pretty much falling apart, the windows were foggy. Just to mention a few things.

Oh! And lots of stairs everywhere, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs or strollers.

Lost my money, had to pay to stay elsewhere and hated every second at that place.

We ended up staying at the courtyard by Marriott for $20 more per night

We had a terrible experience with the some of the front desk people and specifically the manager “Wiesel”. We were asked for a $200 deposit which we paid cash and were give a receipt for it. When checking out, they argued that their staff got confused and miscounted the amount of money received. They only have back $100. When the manager came in, which was the most unprofessional and probably disrespectful person we’ve encountered, he did not only not solve our issue but even mocked and made fun of our friends when told him we would call the police. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HANDING ANY CASH TO THIS PEOPLE BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING ISSUE FOR THEM CONSTANTLY “MISCOUNTING CASH”.

I waited for 2 hours for check in. I have never seen such a difunctional place. If you have any kind of problem, with your room, staff will take notes, and do nothing about it.
If you escalate to manager, he will lie to your face, that your issue will be fixed, later today, tomorrow etc.
Parking is extremely expensive, almost 29$ per day.
Only good thing about this hotel is location, close to Berry UQAM Metro.
Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Room are small and dated. But the have the minimum.

Usually when I book an hotel I show my ID and they take a security deposit. Here what I didn't like is the clerk at my arrival took my driving licence and credit card went bellow his counter and made photocopy of my card and went in the cack office to store it somewhere.

I didn't like it at all. I booked with Expedia why do they need a photocopy of my cards for?

The parking if cramped and not user friendly

Fuyez cet hôtel à tout prix! J'étais en voyage d'affaires avec deux de mes collègues et notre expérience a été plus qu'horrible.
Le check-in a été extrêmement long (25min) et lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans nos chambres respectives, les chambres n'étaient pas du tout comme les photos sur le site internet. Malpropre, les meubles abîmés, les prises de courant ne fonctionnaient pas, odeur d'humidité présente.

Nous sommes donc redescendu au lobby pour demander un remboursement et expliquer la situation. Il y avait deux employés au comptoir, une était occupée avec des clients et l'autre employé était sur l'ordinateur du comptoir. Nous avons donc décidé d'attendre que l'employé nous fasse signe qu'il était disponible avant d'aller vers lui (il semblait occupé). Après plus de 10min à attendre, mon collègue est allé lui demandé s'il était disponible pour nous aidé. Sa réponse: ah oui vous pouvez venir. Donc durant toutes ces minutes à nous voir planter en avant du comptoir, il n'a jamais pensé à nous regarder, nous aborder et nous demander si nous avions besoin d'aide. Plutôt ordinaire.

Nous expliquons donc la situation des chambres à l'employé, il nous assure que nous allons être remboursés une fois que sa collègue aura terminé avec ses clients. Finalement, le superviseur qui était présent ce soir là nous informe que le remboursement est impossible car 30min se sont écoulées entre le check-in (qui à lui seul a pris 25min) et notre discussion. Nous lui expliquons alors que nous désirons malgré tout un remboursement car c'est de la fausse représentation. Il nous a proposé des chambres rénovées, donc visiblement ils font payés le même prix à tout le monde, que vos chambres sont rénovées ou non. Ma collègue avait du sang sur ses draps, des poils dans son bain, mon autre collègue un trou dans le plafond et une toilette pas fixée au sol!

Le superviseur a exigé qu'on lui montre les chambres parce que c'était impossible qu'elles soient si mal en point. Attitude très condescendante de sa part avec nous, service +/- en français, très peu enclin à nous aider. Une fois tout cela montré, nous demandons de parler au gérant, mais il a quitté à 16h et aucun moyen de le contacter (selon eux). Nous avons donc été obligé de remplir un formulaire de plainte qui allait être donné au gérant dès le lendemain. Le formulaire était en anglais uniquement (non respect de la loi 101) et était plutôt un formulaire pour l'accessibilité/discrimination des personnes à mobilité réduite. Nous avons dû rayer les questions et écrire notre plainte où nous pouvions sur la feuille. Ça fait maintenant 2 semaines de tout ça et aucune nouvelles du gérant et malheureusement, aucun remboursement.

Mention spéciale au commis qui a essayé de nous aidé, mais à part cela, expérience horrible de A à Z.

I was worried about booking here because of all the bad reviews but I have to say it was definitely not as bad as some people are making it out to be.

Room was very clean, no bedbugs, clean beds, clean bathroom.

Room did not smell bad at all, no stench.

Beautiful and elegant lobby.

Staff was kind and patient.

I got my 250$ damage deposit back (I paid by credit card, I know some people who complained about not getting it back that paid with debit - I was not given the option to pay with debit so I think they realised it was an issue).

The only problem I encountered with the hotel was that we were not given working cards to open our room's door. We tried many times, went back down, they tried to fix it by remagnetizing the cards. We went back up, cards still didnt work, went back down, one of the employees came to check and opened the door with the master key. We were told that it would be fixed the next day but it was not the case - so we had to keep asking for staff to open the door for us. That was my only complaint.

Horrible! The bathroom was so durty and disgusting that I couldn't take a shower. Stained bed sheets. Everything very old. Weird neighborhood. This was a very bad choice.

Paid extra for the room with fridge but did not get it. Not worth the price.

The absolute worst hotel I've ever been to. We checked in, got into the room and walked right back out to find another hotel for the night. We asked for a refund since we weren't staying but the front desk agent refused. Reading other reviews, I can see that this experience is a common one and all I can say is that they are not exaggerated. The rooms are dirty, old, dark, dingy and falling apart. The sheets have holes and the beds look like they were made up by a child. The TV in the rooms is a tiny (like 13-inch? !) "flat screen" that I am pretty sure was the first flat screen ever invented because it looks more like a computer monitor. The curtains were falling off the rod and the paint was peeling from the walls. This, my friends, is where dreams come to die.

They never gave me back my 250 dollar room deposit. We left the room in a clean state. I’ve been calling the owner Vanessa repeatedly with no response, they took my money and ran. The staff member at the front desk named Bianca is extremely rude and unhelpful. I highly recommend booking another hotel, this hotel is a scam. They stole 250 dollars from me.

Just don't. Avoid.
Please read all the other reviews.
Rooms are in bad condition, beds are not comfortable, shower is ok at best. Some of the rooms are not accessible for wheelchair or baby strollers (or rolling luggage for that matter).
Location is not bad, next to a Metro station.

This was the worst hotel stay we've ever had in our lives (we typically stay in 3-stars).

Beware that you cannot check-in before 4pm and you'll likely wait in the line for 2+ hours with your luggages. They only had one staff checking people in and the line went outside the hotel for multiple days we stayed there. A group in front of me who had a wedding to go to had to get ready in the hotel bathroom because of the line.

On our second day, our key cards stopped working all of a sudden. We couldn't get it fixed due to the insane check-in line. The staff who "fixed" it only asked for our room number and issued new cards without any type of security check, so we could literally be anyone gaining access to the room. Not to mention, our key cards stopped working again after using it just once.

At no point, the hotel staff acknowledged and offered an apology for any of this. Also, their gym is still closed due to COVID.

Spend a little bit more and stay somewhere decent.

The lady at the reception was very rude. We came at 5: 20 pm (the check-in time is 4 pm), but the room was not ready and we were told to wait for another hour. When I asked why the check-in was 2.5 hours late, she replied in the most rude manner that "You are not the only one waiting for a room". I don't know how someone with such a bad attitude towards guests can work in hospitality industry at all. If I were the manager there, she'd be out the same day she talks to guests in such a rude way. Also, they deactivate the keys each day so you have to go back to the reception and ask to activate the keys as well as to ask for a new wifi password every afternoon. Our king size bed was broken. The tv didn't have a remote, when we asked for a remote control they gave us one but without batteries and for a different TV brand. Worst stay ever.

I had a late check-in at 10: 30pm and there was no one at the front desk. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to show up. Then the toilet wouldn't flush and the front dest told me they can't do anything because it was late and their suites were full.

TERRIBLE place. I consider it is MOTEL, not 3 or 4 stars as they claim at the door. Smell mold, old, and DIRTY. Avoid if you can.

Nous avons payé pour deux parking en cash (17.25$) avant notre séjour et nous avons tout de même été chargé sur notre carte de crédit (34,50$). Probablement que le responsable a volé notre argent, mais au final ils ne veulent rien entendre. PIRE SERVICE EVER

Worst experience ever, there was no drinking water available in the room, and when I called the receptionist at 4 am for the same, they mentioned that they don’t have any bottles available and I need to wait till 7 am to receive it. Next question from my side was is it because you can’t leave the station unattended, if that’s so I can come and collect, they were like no we don’t have any, I was surprised that a hotel which claims itself to be 3* does not even have a bottle of water. I then asked them where can I get some water at this time, the person mentioned in a grocery store and hung up on me. Now I’m visiting Montreal for the time and they expect me to go out at morning 4: 00 am and find out a grocery store which is open and get some drinking water. Highly NOT recommended place.

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel qui est très correct, néanmoins il est relativement vétuste je pense que certains travaux pourrait être entamée pour donner une impression moins vieille. Le personnel était très correct et a répondu à toutes nos questions.

Pas si mal côté qualité prix. Ce n’est pas le plus beau hôtel par contre tout était très propre et nous étions super bien. Lors de notre réservation il a eu une erreur sur le site de booking et c’étais les mauvaises dates alors nous avons appelé l’hôtel pour voir ce qu’on pouvais faire et aucune réponse et nous avons appelé environ 5 fois. Alors nous avons appelé booking pour régler le tout et eux non plus n’ont pas eu de réponse. Ensuite nous arrivons là-bas et nous ne savions pas si nous allions payer des frais car il y avait une erreur… finalement ils nous ont répondu « vous pouvez régler ça avec notre superviseur demain matin il seras là .  » alors le lendemain matin nous allons le voir et il nous répond que ce seras avec la directrice car il ne peut rien faire… j’ai trouvé ça assez plate car nous étions vraiment dans une mauvaise situation et nous ne voulions pas être chargé 100$ de frais d’annulation pour une erreur de leur part. Quand nous sommes quittés Booking nous a dit que nous n’aurions aucune charge et puis j’ai reçu le courriel de confirmation pour dire que je n’allais pas être chargé. Puis deux jours plus tard je reçois un courriel comme quoi ils vont me charger pour les frais d’annulations. Décevant….

We booked a room with 2 queen beds but we ended up getting one with a sofa and a bed and no Fridge. The air conditioning in the original room was broken and I believe that was the case for all the rooms on our floor because even the corredor was super warm (80c). If you read other reviews you will see that other people had the same problem. When we got to the new room the sofa was ready. This tells me that they knew it would be needed. I would not recommend this hotel at all!

The hotel is very old and dirty. No parking spots available. They have onsite parking which they charge $28 +tax. Not recommended even they give you a cheaper deal. Spend some extra $ to get a different hotel.

Do you think this is acceptable? On the place where once there was a mat, now it’s dirt. I am so sad this was our choice. Even no door for the wardrobe. Some dirty curtain instead.
And they charge in advance the deposit 3x larger than a room price.

Terrible Hotel! They initially booked for King Suit, however gave me a Double Bed and still charged me for King. They made me buy parking from them and charged my credit card without authorization! Absolutely terrible and the general manager was aware of the case but not responsive at all.

Don't cheat people and charge full money when you are not ready. Worst ever experience. Clogged bathrooms, no fridges, no microwave. Rooms were not cleaned and done, even the garbage was not picked up when came back at night. Very unprofessional, careless, RUDE staff and management. Not better than staying in a youth hostel.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, it’s infested with bed bugs and roaches. If you make a complaint about it they will tell you that no one else has complained and there is nothing they can do to help.

They do not put salt and it was ice everywhere in the parking lot. Windows don’t open. Hair dryer was broken but they changed it open our request. Also the receptionist are a bit rude.

Good hotel, clean and include everything what you need. Ubicated in a convenient place close to one park, supermarkets, pharmacys and discotheques. The only thing was the street noise at the meddle of night because some people was drinking alcohol in front of my room.

Update: thank for your response I appreciate your concern now however I mentioned it to the staff and nothing was done. I was told I checked in too late and there was nothing the staff could do change my room & that cleaning staff was already gone for the night. In the end I took an Uber to the nearest mall and purchased cleaning supplies to clean it myself.

Great location and close the subway which is great for those who wish to see some of the sites. Hotel rooms were clean and tidy, though a little outdated.

Chambre simple qui va avec le prix mais le tapis dans une chambre en 2019 sa n'a pu sa place. Et Tv non hd et format 27 ou 30 pouces à peine que le câble est mono donc tu lit tu vois rien à la tv vraiment désuet. Aussi on doit monter 4 marches pour accéder à la porte et à l'intérieur 2 autres marches que avec des valises lourde, personne âgée etc vraiment pas l'idéal

La température de la chambre était réglée à 16 degré celcius. J'ai tout de suite éteins ls climatisation et mis du chauffage pour m'apercevoir que celui-ci ne fonctionne pas. Lorsque j'ai avisé la réception on m'a tout simplement dit que le chauffage était déconnecté et d'attendre que la chambre se réchauffe. Je suis arrivée à 22h00 après 3h00 de route j'aurais aimé pouvoir dormir plutôt que d'attendre que la chambre se rechauffe par elle-même.

Im from Paris and I booked a room yesterday at 10am for 235$ (on the facture they write 199$ but charge 235$ on my Visa card I don’t know why)
The reception told me the room will be ready at 4pm so I just let my luggage to go at the shopping center.
At 3: 15 I call for cancel the reservation because of a family problem I had to go to Ottawa.
The men told me “it’s ok I refund you “ but when I came back to the hotel they refused to refund me because they said I don’t canceled one day before!
But it’s incredible because it’s not possible to cancel one day before something you book the Same day! And the contrat I sign for the hotel this rule is nowhere.
When I call the hotel the let me hold for 40 min and say “ the manager are busy or manager is absent until tomorrow 8am please call back “
I think they want to scam me. If they don’t refund me I will go to the justice.
Because they never give me the key, I never see the room and I can prove it!

Our stay was for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience for us. However i found some bad reviews, i thought to give a chance and now i realized that i got a great one to stay in Montreal. Rooms and washrooms were clean. As some people mentioned in their review that they found their rooms smell bad when they arrive, but it wasn't truth in our case. The service was so good and staff was really friendly.

Les chambres sont corrects, le hall d’entrée intéressant, par contre le stationnement est dispendieux, le personnel est condescendant et l’heure pour quitter les chambres n’est pas négociable. Au prix que cet hôtel offre ses chambres, les services qui devraient être offerts en parallèle laissent place à l’amélioration.
