Service and atmosphere is very good, however, I consider food as the main product of the restaurant so the overall rating goes with food.

On a scale of 1-5,1 being "if I had a choice I wouldn't come here" and 5 being "I would recommend coming all the way here just for the food and experience", I give it a 1. For the price (we had lunch here and everyone in the group spent at least $30, I ended up spending $50 incl.a normal size tip), the food is at best mediocre. I ordered lobster spaghetti, it looks like the lobster came from a can, and there was a tiny piece of lobster shell in it. Let's disregard that shell for a moment, the taste and presentation of the dish is really just OK. My companion ordered braised beef cheek poutine, but what he got resembled a microwave-reheated frozen dinner, it tasted OK but the presentation is not too appetizing. Now I wish I had taken a photo, but we were a bit unsure how to react to the food none of that crossed the mind.

Place is nice. Service was very mediocre. Staff was nice but our meals all came at different times. We were a party of 7 and got our food in 4 batches. At least 10-15 minutes between the first plate arriving and the last one.

Réservation pour un groupe d’une vingtaine de personnes. Excellent accueil. Bon service. La nourriture est bien apprêtée. Nos repas ont été servis rapidement malgré le nombre. Belle ambiance. Il faut seulement se rendre à l’Ile des Sœurs!

Place is nice and good is food. A few options for vegans.

Très bon service. Les calmars frits en entrée étaient excellents, bien assaisonnés et croustillants. Les plats principaux étaient copieux et bien apprêtés et les cocktails très bons aussi. Et que dire de la jolie vue sur le fleuve!

Been on a corporate lunch and ordered a fish and chips. Fish tasted like ammoniac, literally! Service wasn't that great, but that's pretty much everywhere these days. I remember, we used to go at Les Enfants Terribles on Nun's Island pretty often and the food and service was awesome. Well, that changed! It was most likely our last time.

Magnifique resto-bar avec vue sur le fleuve. En résumé: L’ambiance était chaleureuse, nos plats succulents et les serveurs attentionnés. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre souper.

Le service était horrible.on nous a laissé attendre presque une heure sans venir prendre notre commande. Au moins trois serveuse sont passée sans même nous regarder. Super déçu. À ne pas suggérer.

Mauvais service. On avait une réservation pour 19: 30, arrivés sur place, il était 20: 15 et personne n’est venu nous servir, ni pour les boissons ni pour le repas, nous sommes partis après avoir attendu. Je ne conseille pas du tout!

I was told about this place many many times so finally I decided to give it a try. I break down my review into three parts. Ambiance, Food and Service. Ambiance and Food get a 4.5 but the service we got was just horrendous.had to find and call our waiter to give him our order (s) and then again run after him for a side dish of ketchup.this was 3.00 PM with only us and another table in the whole place. I generously give a 4 for what I experienced! I hope it gets better next time.

Pros: view overseeing the river, good service, plates came out at a good pace, French fries are decent.

Cons: way overpriced for what you get, most dishes are mediocre at best, portions are somewhat small, food arrived lukewarm, salmon tartar wasn't cold enough, beef tartar was tough.many items seem to have been bought instead of homemade.

As an example, you pay $11 for an onion ring and you get 6 or 7 pieces.

Overall not worth the price. It's a little above fast-food but no way near what's offered for the same price elsewhere in the city.

Bon scrambled eggs. Nice ending with the honey dew. The omelette jardin is good too. A bit greasy for the creton. Also am not sure if the jus d’orange is fresh pressed.

Très déçue! Arrivés à 20h, Attente de 45 min avant de recevoir notre entrée, Calmars secs difficile à mastiquer, Soupe à l'oignon exquise, service nul! Même que l'hôte est venu débarrasser notre table au complet après l'entrée en nous demandant si on avait bien mangé hahaha je n'ai jamais vu ça! Nous n'avions plus d'ustensiles pour notre repas! Cocktail pas buvable, ribs pas marinés juste badigeonnés de sauce bbq en plus que mon tartare n'avait aucun goût.cherche la serveuse pour avoir du sel.elle est en grande conversion sans même vérifier si ses clients on besoin de quelque chose, pas une fois elle est venue nous demander si tout allait bien, je ne suis vraiment pas une chialeuse mais si je prends le temps d'écrire c'est parce-que je suis réellement déçue.très cher pour rien!

The drink is so good but the food is not what I was expecting, this is the second time for me here but for the first time I enjoyed more.

Pas la premiere fois dans ce resto à 3 minutes de chez nous, et toujours une bonne experience
intérieur moderne et chaleureux, belle terrasse en été et Une belle vue sur le fleuve selon l’endroit ou on est assis.

Je donne à Mathieu notre serveur un 5/5 pour son service impeccable malgré qu il s’occupait d’une section assez achalandée

Selon mon experience en cuisine, il y a un petit travail à faire sur l’assaisonnement de certaines viandes et peut etre revoir certaines combinaisons entre les garnitures et les sauces. (mais ça reste mon avis personnel)

Pretty decor, nice patio. Service was superb and great with my gluten free as a Celiac. The salmon entree was so good!

The food was good and service ok but still very disappointing: (if your definition of an upmarket restaurant is being ripped off with bitesize portion at outrageous price then this is for you!
Last time I checked a "magret de canard" is a duck breast, not barely a quarter of a duck breast! Maybe 100gr of duck with 3 mushrooms and 2 table spoons of egg plant cream for $31? ! I know restaurants are struggling right now and need a bit of help. But it's not by insulting your clients that you will get repeat customers! Very sad: (Will certainly not return.
Edit: what should I understand from your reply? That if I'm not good enough to appreciate your gastronomic dish I can eat something simpler? ! I love duck and I know both how to cook it and appreciate it! So yes I jumped on it when I saw it.if you can only serve such a small portion then fine but advertise it properly! Don't say it's "a magret de canard"! Say it's a slice of duck and say it's a small portion! And by the way the mushrooms were not Coral! They were round shaped like a cup more like a portini than anything else!

*English will follow in another review* le service reçu aujourd’hui à la succrusale de l’Îles-des-soeurs était médiocre plus de ne pas faire attention à des allergies mentionnées dès l’arrivé sans parler des options du menu déjeuner complètement absentes pour les personnes végétaliennes ou allergiques aux oeufs. Ce qui wst bon à savoir avant de faire un choix de restaurant. Pour un restaurant qui se considère comme étant de haute gamme, c’est très ordinaire, nous avons eu un meilleur service au mcdonald. C’est un ajustement de base qui a été fait dans tout autres restaurants fréquentés auparavant dont la succursale du centre-ville à seulement 8 minutes de voiture. Ne perdez pas votre temps, allez-là directement.

La succursale de l’Îles-des-soeurs n’a pas voulu faire aucune exception/changement pour du blanc d’oeuf ou omelette de blanc d’oeuf pour une allergie aux jaunes d’oeufs. La serveuse a demandé à la cuisine et au gérant avec refus des deux côtés, le gérant n’est jamais venu à la table pour aborder la stituation. Nous demandons s’il y a des oeufs dans le pain (beaucoup de restaurant tel que celui auquel nous sommes allez hier n’ont pas d’oeufs dans le pain) elle confirme qu’il y a des oeufs dans le pain donc bien évidemment nous prenons sans pain, ce qui est correcte. Or, l’assiète arrive avec le pain directement sur les autres aliments. Heureusement ce n’est pas une allergie sévère qui se déclenche par contamination au touché parce que ça aurait pu être grave. On demande également s’il y a des oignons dans le mac and cheese et la serveuse nous répond assurément sans vérifier qu’il n’y en pas alors qu’il y en avait. Encore une fois, si c’était une allergie, ça aurait été grave. Nous sommes complètement choqué de notre expérience et de cette négligence face à la santé des clients.

Pour couronner le tout, lorsque nous voulons la facture (les restaurant est pratiquement vide à ce moment) la serveuse ne regarde jamais dans notre direction et ne viens pas près de notre table. Nous finission par attirer l’attention d’un bossboy pour lui demander de faire le message à notre serveuse qui viens finalement nous voir pour confirmer que nous voulons la facture. Après 20 minutes sans retour, on décide de se lever, elle reviens pour confirmer que c’est bien 1 seule facture et repars à nouveau pour finalement revenir après 30 secondes avec la facture, était-ce si compliqué?

Bien entendu, aucune compensation pour ce service déplorable et 5 personnes insatisfaites tant du service que de la nourriture. Dernière visite à ce restaurant. 1 étoile pour pouvoir publier, mais ça en vaut zéro.

Moi et mon conjoint ont a pris le bagel fairmont a 16$ chaque.a peine du saumon fumée dessus, que le bagel ds l'assiette aucun accompagnement.on avait reserver pour 11h30, le resto ouvre a cette heure la.a midi la serveuse viens prendre la commande.oups plus de soupe! Un cafe cappuccino a 5$ ds une très petite tasse et en plus ébrèché. Finalement en conclusion.plus jamais j'irai ds se resto.allez ailleurs pour bruncher.sa veux pas pas peine.qualité prix un gros zéro

Excellent service. Les employés sont très gentils. La nourriture a été délicieuse! Belle ambiance pour aller avec votre famille. Pour les enfants ils ont un gros ours qui mange avec la famille, très cute. Très propre, ils respectent la norme pour la prévention contre la COVID-19. Merci!

Best restaurant of the island. Terrace available for a drink or two before lunch or dinner. Daily Chef special is always the best choice. Always cooked with local ingredients. Eat local eat fresh. Santé!

Serveur pas vraiment de classe (sacre en quittant notre table) et non pas vraiment de sens d'initiative

Great location, tables are far from each other for social distancing (during COVID-19), the staff all wear visors. Downside is the Food isn’t that great which I never understood why. Other agree with me. Staff can be slow, though I also understand the COVID times.

Great place for brunch. During the week there seem to be always room but highly suggest calling ahead on weekendsa. Also parking used to be great but with new constructions it will soon become an issue

I don’t think i ever would’ve been here if i hadn’t been invited.it is easy to get to right off the bridge, but parking is not obvious, as even GPS is sending me back into town for public parking.we ended up finding one on the street.the restaurant is quite cozy and low lighting makes it a very intimate setting.the decent spacing between tables is very welcomed.always water on the table.bar in the middle of the place makes it easy to get drinks, even tho waiters are always available for that.some in our party were dissatisfied with the quality of drinks.menu is simple and easy.prices are a bit on the upper side, but still decent.food took a while to come and mistakes in orders were noticed, but corrected.i must add, the first order of fries we ordered for children came out nice, but the other orders that came with adult meals were over cooked.deception.most other food was good/decent quality considering the prices.will recommend, but personally probably won’t be a repeat customer.

The wine that we ordered with our Brunch was good and all the staff were wearing masks- hence the 2 stars. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with my order and after getting it corrected, halfway through my meal I found a hair on my plate (which was definitely not mine). It happens sometimes, I just would have expected the restaurant to be apologetic and do something to compensate or make the experience better. They did not, hence the rating and why I won't be back.
FYI, I quietly informed our waiter of the hair - and he apologized but did not offer to rectify the situation.

Not so easy to find, but worth the journey. Nice ambience, with views over the St Lawrence. Good selection of food for all tastes.

I really liked the service and food. The food was great a bit pricey but we were given great service from Camille and Mathieu. This restaurant has more space than the one in Ville Marie. Parking was not easy to find when you are going there for the first time. I would go there again.

This place came recommended and it was definitely what we were looking for. The food was on point and our server Audrey was great. She was extremely helpful with menu suggestions and had a great knowledge of the menu. It really made the whole experience fantastic. I would definitely come back. Nice location, good food, amazing service and great ambiance. Thanks for a good evening.

Vraiment TROP cher pour ce qu'on a dans notre assiette. Les repas sont bon, mais ça ne vaut pas le prix. Allez au Bâton Rouge à la place.

C'est bien, c'est bon, j'ai sûrement été frappée de malchance mais je me suis brûlé le palais avec le dessert pudding chômeur et ma chaise a perdu une patte mais dans l'ensemble c'était pas trop mal quoi que. La bavette était froide, on l'a réchauffé, les calmars frits sont excellents, pas de croutons servis avec la petite portion de tartare de thon que j'ai assaisonné moi-même car sans saveur. On pourrait s'attendre à un peu mieux pour la place selon moi, l'ambiance est bonne autant pour un groupe qu'en amoureux ou en famille.

Excellent restaurant, nous avons pris la bavette, la joue de bœuf et les côtes levées, tout était délicieux et cuit à la perfection. Le personnel était aux petits soins. On y retournera, c'est certain.

Plats très bons et services aussi. Un peu onéreux. Malheureusement, odeurs d'égouts ds les toilettes des femmes, ça coupe l'appétit

Excellent restaurant. Je recommande fortement. J'y suis allé lors de Montréal à table pour le brunch. La nourriture est très bonne et le service est excellent. Même mon fils de quatre ans à adoré.

Un très beau décor, belle atmosphère, service impeccable, la nourriture était excellente, nous étions 10 personnes, la nourriture a tout été servis en même temps et de plus chaude.

Great restaurant overall. Very nice decor and nice terrasse. Food is good but would welcome more regular changes to the menu. There is always some dish of the day options which are usually original and creative. Grilled octopus, tartares, fish & chips are a must. Service is very good, people are always nice and accomodating.

The waiter did not pay too mucsh attention to us. Did not give us bread.and then gives us the wrong bill at the end.let's say that the service was not terrific

Yesterday was the third or fourth time we've eaten here. Both my wife and I were thinking "tartare" but the waiter said the daily special was something worth trying. What A GREAT choice we made going with his recommendation! The scallop crudo was exceptional, an original take on scallop sashimi served with an asparagus foam and truffle, sat in a light yuzu sauce and a beautiful floral and lichen garnish. Plenty on the plate and such a delicate balance of flavours. The main - a pretty little brick of pan-fried/grilled halibut, with grilled zucchini, cherry tomatoes and a spinach coulis - was possibly the most perfectly cooked piece of halibut I've ever eaten, with again, perfectly balanced flavours all round. Our compliments to the Chef! Great service from our waiter, good wines.okay.enough! Thanks LET.

Air conditioning. When the doors are open to the terrace, their policy is to turn off the AC, making it hot and sticky with no breeze.

It was a quiet evening, but I guess this could get noisy very quickly.

We ordered mini pogo chorizo, ok, but nothing special.
After that the BLT burger and the bavette. Both cooked to medium. Again ok.
We had a glass of Rioja. Advice, go for the bottle, the wine glasses are ridiculously small and 4 pay the price of the bottle. Even if you can't drink the full bottle, it is better to order it.
The service was the worst part. The waiter was borderline rude, throwing menus on the table and serving water without even asking for permission.

We are regulars and live nearby. We hope the management will understand that it needs to retain staff. We’ve seen so many great teams of waiters and managers leave in a span of less than 2 years.it is heart breaking to see a good staff team leave when they are in complete control of the operations. Make them stay!

A good option, food wise (especially considering the lack of options in the immediate area). Rather bit pricey in addition to somewhat small portions though.

Cet un bel androit et un bon service, nous somme allé en groupe et avons bien mangé, mais il faut réservé, et aller s'y vous seraient pas déçu.

Nous sommes venus plusieurs fois en peu de temps et n'avons jamais été déçus; excellent accueil, personnel aux petits soins avec nous, les repas sont très bons, variés, les menus du jour sont à chaque fois d'excellentes surprises, saines et très goûtues, la terrasse est parfaite ces jours-ci, bref mille raisons de trouver cet endroit vraiment sympa.

Été souper avec mes parent.la nourriture est bonne mais c est cher.le service à bien été et il y a des vin abordables

Nous sommes allés au restaurant sur l'Île-des-Soeurs et vraiment rien à dire au niveau manger et service tout était à la hauteur. Nous étions une table de 10 personnes et tout le monde a bien apprécié son assiette, autant sur la présentation que le goût.
