Les Moulins La Fayette

Nous avons pris café avec des croissants et pains au chocolat normal, pas top. On a eu l’impression de manger du surgelé. Le service reste impeccable, la boulangerie hyper propre et bien aménagée. Le design est très agréable et bien conçu. Je recommande moyennement.

Decent coffee but the almond croissant is NOT a croissant — it’s more like a bread-like roll in the shape of a croissant and the stuff they spread after they slice it has a weird chemical taste. Would not recommend this place unless you’re desperate

We had arrived on a flight from Halifax, and needed food and drink before checking at the nearby David Hotel. Les Moulins La Fayette was the perfect choice. The food and drink were just delicious, and the staff are friendly and so helpful. This was a lovely introduction to our time in Montreal.

Nous étions arrivés par un vol en provenance d'Halifax et avions besoin de manger et de boire avant de nous installer à l'hôtel David, situé à proximité. Les Moulins La Fayette était le choix idéal. La nourriture et les boissons étaient tout simplement délicieuses, et le personnel est amical et très serviable. Ce fut une belle introduction à notre séjour à Montréal.

Best place to grab a delicious sandwich for lunch and coffee. Their bakery and desserts are also very good

If you want a amazing meal (Brunch) with a full flavor experience, to charge you for a tour day, you must stop here!

I ate a "Pizza" sandwich that switched into my top 3 favorites foods I ever ate out of Brazil of course. And my mom ate an awesome Croissant with soup and butter biscuit. All parfait.

Best french pastries! I've gone every day of our trip that they were open and they don't disappoint. Very nice staff as well that took the time to explain the menu items.

Les sandwichs sont toujours bons et frais! Je n’ai jamais été déçue. Ça vaut définitivement le détour. Pendant les nombreuses fois que j’ai été, le personnel a toujours été très serviable et aimable. Ils reconnaissent leurs clients réguliers et ils les servent bien avec grand plaisir. Petite ambiance conviviale je trouve, ça fait la différence VS les autres que j’ai pu essayer depuis que j’ai changé de travail. La Fayette est l’une des 2 adresses qui me manque du Vieux-Montréal.

Le service a la clientele par (Irab) était fantastique. Le sandwich mortadella succulent et le café juste a point. Je vais y retourner c'est certain!

This place is absolutely amazing! I didn't realize this was connected to the Westin and entered through the street entrance. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and helpful. I ordered a ton of pastries to bring back to Toronto. They packaged it perfectly and helped me with instructions to keep them fresh. There was another cafe I used to always visit while on Montreal but it was disappointing this time. Les Moulins La Fayette is now my favourite and I highly recommend to anyone in Montreal! You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be visiting any time I'm there! Wish I had taken pictures of the goodies and the boxes it was packed in to travel.

So delicious! The lady who helped me was incredibly nice. I can't have milk so she walked me through which sandwiches she could remove the cheese from (the eggs for breakfast have milk in them btw but they can do it without egg). High recommend! Wish I found this sooner during my trip. I would have come every day. Ambiance is amazing and the music is really nice and gives it an edgy modern feel

Très bel accueil! Leurs produits sont frais et les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité de la nourriture.

Really welcoming atmosphere even for non-french speaking clients. We got out with fresh, still warm baguette. Made just for us. Highly recommend, feels like home!

Great spot for breakfast. Good lattes and the pressed croissant breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Polite, friendly service.

So i was wandering in the old port and was very hungry. Im so lucky i found this gem! Their pastries are very good and i love their croissants. Also the personal very nice! Ill definitely come back. They bake them fresh everyday and they have good varieties.

I have been here a few times to grab lunch while staying at the Westin hotel. The close proximity to the hotel made it a very convenient choice, especially on a colder day. I liked the variety of food choices. Always felt very welcomed whenever I walked in.

If you're guests at Le Westin around the corner and are in a hurry, this is a decent option. Le Westin's wifi reaches this cafe and there's always plenty of open tables (read: not as popular for a reason).

The food is okay. They sell different breakfast sandwiches and quiches. We ordered the quiche and breakfast sandwiches and nothing was amazing.

However, if you need something quick, it's a fine choice.

I came this morning to have breakfast with my boyfriend! It was a pretty busy place, excellent service and amazing food! I had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and boyfriend had a bacon quiche, it was delicious! For dessert had an almond croissant and a waffle it was divine! I am so coming back there! I recommend to everyone. It is a gem.

Strongly recommend visiting the place for breakfast. Occasionally a little waiting time should be considered. The variety of food is excellent and everyone should be able to find something delicious to eat. I think this is the best fresh baked bread and pastry! Great coffee and breakfast. Very charming and modern cafe.

This place has amazing sandwiches and cakes and it's freshly made every morning. I go here regularly!

Bonne boulangerie pour luncher qui gagnerait à être davantage connue. On y retourne très certainement!

Un beau secret dans le vieux. Calme, décontratcté, service chaleureux et personnalisé. Le café est tenu par une sympathique famille et l'ambiance est à l'avenant. Excellent choix musicale. Plafond haut, Wifi.

Quelle déception!
J'arrive ce matin avec mon conjoint, au bout de 5 minutes devant le comptoir l'employé nous ignore encore et c'est nous-mêmes qui lui disons bonjour.
De longues minutes passent encore et malgré 2 employés qui ne font pas grand chose nous n'avions toujours pas été servis.
Une autre cliente s'ajoute à la file d'attente mais toujours zero reaction!
Au prix que coûtent vos viennoiseries, la MOINDRE des choses c'est d'apprendre à votre staff d'accueillir et servir les clients convenablement.
Nous sommes partis ailleurs.

I went there today, I bought some croissants, chocolatines and almond croissants they were just delicious and fresh! The two people behind the counter helped us a lot and were super friendly! Can’t wait to go back there! Next time for sure trying the chausson au aux pommes.

Very nice cafe. Good service, reasonably priced food but desserts are quite dear. Yesterday’s bread is discounted!
