Les Portes et Fenêtres Océan - Ocean Doors and Windows

Pour nous 0 étoiles fait changer mes fenêtres en 2005 par l’entremise de Costco car il y avait un kiosque. Arriver à 8am et parti à minuit. Problème d’installation. Pris contact avec Costco car les fenêtres n’avaient pas bien été installées. En 2007 le tout a été réglé ils ont changés deux fenêtres. Maintenant j’essaye de rejoindre la compagnie car les fenêtres sont défectueuses et je sais qu’ils sont sur la garantie aucun retour d’appel jusqu’à présent.

This is the first time that I have ever written a negative review of a company and I'm doing so in the hopes that it will help other people having the same experience we did. Our experience with this company was beyond just poor service and incompetence including an initial lost order, multiple delayed deliveries, being told the window was then lost, and then that the window had broken en route, etc. It also included a request for payment in full before the window was installed (something I naively and regretfully did). It ended with us being blamed for their mis-measurements and a demand for additional money if we wanted the window re-manufactured and a refusal to refund our money otherwise. I have never in my life felt that I was being extorted by a company until dealing with Ocean and it resulted in us having to dispute the charge with Visa, where we won and had our money returned. I would strongly recommend anybody avoid doing business with this company.

C'est la première fois que je rédige un avis négatif sur une entreprise et je le fais dans l'espoir d'aider d'autres personnes qui ont vécu la même expérience que nous. Notre expérience avec cette société ne s'est pas limitée à un service médiocre et à de l'incompétence: une première commande perdue, plusieurs livraisons retardées, l'annonce que la fenêtre était perdue, puis que la fenêtre s'était cassée en route, etc. On nous a également demandé de payer la totalité de la somme avant l'installation de la fenêtre (ce que j'ai fait naïvement et à regret). Le tout s'est terminé par le fait que nous avons été blâmés pour leurs erreurs de mesure et que l'on nous a demandé de l'argent supplémentaire si nous voulions que la fenêtre soit fabriquée à nouveau et que l'on a refusé de nous rembourser si ce n'était pas le cas. Je n'avais jamais eu l'impression d'être victime d'une extorsion de la part d'une entreprise jusqu'à ce que je traite avec Ocean, ce qui nous a obligés à contester les frais auprès de Visa, qui nous a donné gain de cause et nous a remboursés. Je recommande vivement à quiconque d'éviter de faire affaire avec cette société.

Worst window company in the world! Quality is horrible! All of our windows came damaged, chipped, cracked and crooked! Do not buy from them you will regret it!

N’achetez pas de cette compagnie. J’ai acheté une porte sur mesure. Deux des trois pentures étaient mal installées et le trou pour la poignée est au mauvais endroit. Quand j’ai appelé pour me plaindre, ils ont rit de moi et me disait: rappelez-moi la semaine prochaine.

I want to express my huge disappointment in this company, the services were unreliable and the staff extremely disrespectful.

I ordered my door in October 2020 and still have not received it. We are now in the month of June; it has been over 8 months that I have been waiting! I have called them multiple times, in order to be able to talk to someone that could help me, but I would always end up getting a voicemail and leaving a message, and no one ever returned my calls. I posted a review explaining my experience a week ago and that is when someone finally reached out to me. Lorne contacted me in a very rude and threatening tone asking me to remove my review or else I would never get my door! Must I say that that I recorded this phone call and have proof of all emails and conversations that were held with this company. Considering all that happened I have choosen another company who will have my door in less than two months with the greatest staff! It was unlike the experience with Ocean doors and windows. I want to prevent any further customers to go through this, I advise you greatly to use another company!

Ordered windows and doors. The door leaked, they couldn’t fix it. The window already showed fog in it, in its first winter. The installers came did a hack job. Not recommended

Basement windows leaked so much air had to cover with plastic, absolute garbage and they blame the customer for faulty installation despite demonstrated professional work by experienced installers. Wish I had listened to advice and never bought from this company. Many good companies out there, this is the worst choice ever

Ordered doors and windows from Ocean and could not be happier. Great service and value. My entrance looks amazing and I'm saving on energy costs every day. Highly recommend.

I had 2 doors installed from a contractor who regurally purchases doors from this company and after only 6 months of use, the interior wood door jam has cracked and the door no longer works properly, it now squeaks and I just noticed that the white color of the door and the sidelights are not the same color. They have told me that this is not a manufacturing issue but more an installation issue. The contractor told me that he did not make the door.so i'm out thousands of dollars and a non fonctioning door. Do yourself a favour and stay away

Histoire similaire à celle exprimée par un autre utilisateur il y a un an, J'ai fait installer 3 fenêtres à battant il y a 4 ans, et deux des manivelles ont pété exactement de la même façon, aucune trace de corrosion il s'agit d'un produit de mauvaise qualité. Ça fait 3 fois que je demande à la compagnie un remplacement et ils veulent nous le faire payer. On y perd beaucoup de temps et d'énergie.

Je désirais prendre quelques instants pour aviser la clientèle que je ne référerais pas cette compagnie à mon pire ennemi. Après avoir livré une fenêtre brisé, j'attends depuis des semaines le remplacement. Une fenêtre commandé en juillet est toujours en attente. Le service après vente est tout simplement inexistant. Je souhaite bonne chance à tous ceux et celles qui seront clients avec cette compagnie qui n'a aucune considération pour sa clientèle.
