I had dinner with my Tunisian husband and brother visting from Toronto. The vibes were chill and the food was great. The owner cooks everything himself. He takes his time but it is worth the wait. The owner has a great sense of humor so be prepared to leave the store with a smile. He speaks Arabic, French and English. Each dish was made with care. The Couscous, Kafteji and Baguette Farcie were super tasty. This is our second time visiting this resturant but it wont be our last:)

Sincèrement! Aller à ce restaurant est une expérience unique pour un tunisien, dès que tu entres, en dirait que tu es en Tunisie en plein centre ville, dans la medina! Le kaftegi est juste un délice! Et je vous promet que vous allez aimé mais vraiment aimé le chef cuisinier, ce n'est pas que de la cuisine délicieuse qu'il vous donne mais de l'amour: un sourire, un joke, un compliment, un ptit chocolat, une petit histoire.bref! À chaque fois que j'y vais je me sens chez moi! Merci.

Cette endroit est un incontournable à Montréal!
La nourriture est de qualité pour des prix extrêmement abordable!
On se sent comme à la maison

Je suis venu de Québec et je peut dire que d’avoir passé a se restaurant a ajouté une très belle expérience a mon voyage je recommande très grandement et encore merci pour les bouteilles d’eau!

Best Tunisian food I’ve had at a restaurant in North America. My partner and I split the Couscous Royal and Kammounia, which were absolutely incredible and perfect for a cold Montreal winter night. The owner was super friendly and down to earth, and was the sole person greeting, cooking, serving, and cleaning the night we went (Super impressive). 100% recommend this spot; food was out of this world, although slightly on the higher price end, but no doubt worth every penny.

Un restaurant délicieux, j'ai pris a emporter 2 soirs de suite tellement c'était bon. Ses couscous sont incroyable, ses sandwichs au thon délicieux, j'adore également son pain et ses frites. Je le recommande à 200%.

Great and tasty Tunisian cuisine. The owner went out of his way and opened for us on his rest day as I was visiting for a short period of time. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back on my next trip to Montreal!

Very tasty food in generous portions.
I assume it's authentic because it was full and everyone else was speaking Arabic.
They kept bringing food we didn't order, which confused me: bread, soup, tuna and egg sandwich, in addition to the couscous we ordered.

I didn't even get to taste the food I went there during ramadan month before the sun going down and they refused to serve saying that their tables open at 7.30 the time of breaking their fast absolutely disgraceful I am not sure how many freedom chart rights they broke but for sure never entend to do business with them terror mentality.

Quand vous présentez un grand plat a importer puis le remplir a moitié ou même moin on appelle ça de l’arnaque surtout quand vous nous faites payer 18$! C’est le ramadan en plus! Je déconseille le goût est moyen puis les quantités sont ridicules!

Absolutely fantastic North African food in a no-frills setting. The same guy has run the place for 19 years, and it shows. The Couscous Royale (pictured) is a bargain at $33 CAD and is more than enough food for two. Barley soup is my grandmother’s favorite—only $6 CAD. This is the only restaurant I miss when I leave MTL.

Ce fut délicieux, j’ai beaucoup aimé l’maklouba et le couscous était également succulent. Les portions sont généreuses. Qu’Allah fructifie votre restaurant!
