Drove from Ottawa to Montreal for the fathers day goalie event only to find that the pads my daughter wanted were not in stock. OKAY? So your having a huge event but have no stock? Great! I ordered what I wanted online from my car in the stores parking lot. From a different sports store. Good job!

Jai acheté un baton en ligne, il a cassé apres trois semaine. Je suis aller au magazin pour un remplacement mais ils mont dit de m'arranger avec la companie true. Normalement le magasin est supposé s'occuper de le remplacer ou de donner un credit?

Got a skate sharpening right before my game and as soon as the game started I noticed my left skate had weak outside edge. In my second shift of the game I slipped, felt into the board, hurt my shoulder and I had to leave the game. I went back to monkey sports to explain the problem and the one who sharpened my skates (the manager) said that I stepped on a rock and messed up his sharpening. I told him that the whole outside edge was missing. A little bit surprised by what I said he checked it out himself, passed his nail on it and notice I was right but he still didn’t say anything and proceed to resharpened my skates. Once he was done I tried to explain to him that I don’t have to sharpen my skates very often and one sharpening can last me up to 3 months. He told me that he passed the grinder on my blades before sharpening them, so I told him that maybe he just messed up that sharpening. Still closed to the idea that he was wrong even though 1/2 of my outside edge wasn’t there I said to him “can I get the value of the cost of my hockey game in sharpening (20$) ” he said no so I left. I buy 2000$ in equipment every year at monkey sports without the sharpening and tape. I felt like the manager wasn’t considerate of what happened and that he didn’t want to listen to my point view. So the right thing to do for me is writing a review of what happened exactly and not going back there again. Leaving me with a messed up shoulder and no hockey game.

Ordered a youth goalie mask online that was unavailable anywhere in Calgary - received it in 3days - my son is stoked and saved me many hundreds of dollars as the only options available locally were premium masks; where all we needed is an entry level one to try out the position! Very happy with the purchase

Great experience for sure. I unfortunately didn't find the exact product I was looking for but we had a great customer service from Cam. I would recommend and definitely come back again. You feel welcome the minute you step in.

Went there to order custom goalie gear for my son. Cam went above and beyond to help out and ordering the Bauer set up. We were kept up to date on the order and when it arrived was shipped to us with ease. Jen was amazing when placing the order and made the shopping experience better. Definitely worth the visit evening living over 1000 km away.

Horrible skate sharpening. I don’t know if the person was having a bad day but I got my skates and my little brothers skates done and they were worse after the sharpening. I’ve been skating since I could walk and I know when a pair of skates has been properly sharpened. Highly don’t recommend, it’s very unfortunate because the staff was really nice.

You find everything for hockey and other sports. The people's are very helpful and they help to choose the right equipment for the player.

Great selection very complete however they have not figured out how to keep their prostock gear and sticks coming in.

I went to sharpen my skates and waited less then 30 sec to be served by Anthony. Not only is his customer service top notch, his skate sharpening skills are amazing! Whatever his magic touch is, since then, I feel like I'm flying. Won't let anyone else touch my skates since then and won't go anywhere else!

I went there today actually, I was looking at CCM goalie pads for myself, when I came in I didn't see anyone for like 15 minutes and when I did they completely ignored me, as I was leaving I did on purpose to pass on front of the cash the guys were just standing there and they never said bye not very impressed but that's what you get when you hired kids to work.

Désoler mais sur toute la ligne le meilleur magasin de hockey que tu peux avoir y’a tout et très grandes variétés et quelque chose qui as nul part tu peux essayer les bâtons de hock ey avant d’acheter sur une petite patinoire donc c’est vraiment insane pas la dernière. Tu as vraiment tout tranché secteur par secteur pas toute coller en tapons

Et l’avoir su j’aurais été chercher mon stock ici.

I was at the pro shop standing there for 5m without the 2 dudes acknowledge me or even nod his head or some even tho they knew I was there, like i was bothering them. Very unprofessional, Il take my money elsewhere. That goes for the bearded 45y old lookalike, you dont like your job you should quit.

Be careful, i bought 900$+ skates that broke after a few months, they told me they don't handle returns. I asked for a copy of the receipt and they can't find it. Gave them my contact informations, been waiting for over a month now.

My son’s skate housing broke on the first day of a 3-week hockey camp. The guys at Monkey Sports stayed late to get it fixed the same day. Above and beyond what I’d hoped for. Extra thanks to Jeff and Anthony. Couldn’t be happier.

Best hockey store I’ve ever been to. VERY knowledgeable staff and unbelievable selection. Worth the drive from NDG for sure.
